A/N: I think the first chapters of the book were boring not too sure..but there's more to this book than that lol.
Pudding, french fries, burger, juice box, credit card, water bottle, more glares, stares with a pint of hurtful words that I didn't mind, then down the aisle to my pesky best friend.
Hold up; I said friend..not friends... Emphasis on the 's', so what the fuck were Lucy and Liam doing on ou....my....our lunch table?. Emily?.
"Hi Leo". Emily waved me over. I shrugged and reluctantly took my seat which unfortunately turned out to be next to Lucy.
"Hey, you two?..I didn't see you there". I growled through gritted teeth trying to sound as inhumane and rude as possible. Lucy ignored me, Liam just let out a soft chuckle.
Yep, I didn't like them.
"Something's missing" Emily stared at me. "Fork". We both replied in unison. Everyday at lunch someone hurls a fork at me just so mess with my reflexes, high speed reflexes. I'm pretty sure it's one of Damian's friends. Sometimes I just want to dodge and afford letting Emily gets hit but Angelic Leo wants to protect everything.
"I guess the idiot missed s....". In a swift motion out of my control, my arm darted up and stopped whatever was coming at me literally caught. The whole cafeteria was in awe again.. because I kept on doing that and I threw it out of the window.
It's a very stupid cycle.... Get hurled at, catch it, throw it outta the window, Elle goes home and tell my parents I used my powers, get a butt-load of a one sided argument, go to my secret spot and whatever.
"You do know the kitchen staff hate you right?". Emily asked. Lucy smirked. What's funny?.
"Why?" I asked. "This is it 27th piece of cutlery you've thrown away". She pointed out.
"Well, not my fault they give people cutleries to use as a flying disc". I retorted.
"Your boyfriend has a problem". Liam scoffed.
"And what may that be?". I snapped at him, the tension growing once more. My entire angel hated this child. "You don't smile". He chuckled lightly, I rolled my eyes.
Probably hasn't been through shit because if he were in my situation, he would've jumped off a bridge. Literally.
"Whatever". I said taking a bite outta my burger. "Yo!" I heard a very annoying familiar voice call and we all turned to see Damian beckoning for Liam to go over to him.
What does he want?.
"Brother?, I've never met that idiot in my life". I playfully denied. "Oh so that's the dickhead Damian you told me about?" Liam asked.
Hehe!, I was glad he saw Damian that way.
Emily chuckled while Lucy scoffed and buried her head back into her phone.
"Be right back". Liam flashed me a smile I didn't return before he left our table to answer his calling. Who cares if he'll be back.
"How did you do that?". Lucy asked. Oh, so now she wants to talk to me. "Do what?" I trailed off. "The fork thing"She replied.
"None of your business". I snapped and turned back to my food.
"Well....uh-ok". She stuttered and continued what she was doing on her phone.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I didn't want to, I was compelled to. There I was, driving the three idiots in my life to their houses. "So...I'm going to the football audition next week". Liam informed.
"Believe me it's boring". Emily said. "No, I mean...I'm actually going to try out for the team". He highlighted. My knuckles immediately paled as my grip on the steering wheel tightened.
Damian got to him.
Why did I care?, No idea..or probably one more person in his circle of jocks that's gonna be beating me up.
"Uhh... why?" Emily asked clearly trying to tell him to give a reasonable answer to stop me from hating him more.
"Because Damian asked me to...". He replied not getting her drift. Emily physically face-palmed.
Hatred +7
"More like demon". I muttered to Emily out of their earshot.
"What's that?" He asked from the back seat. "None of your business". I snapped and fixed my gaze on the road.
"Rude much?" Lucy asked.
"Still none of your business". I replied.
"Dude, what the fuck is wrong with you?" He asked agitated. "Me?" I asked not even sparing him a glance.
"Who else?, You've been compete shit to us and everyone around you since we've met... why man?, Not cool". He finally lost it and I resisted the urge to punch him. Why I wanted to punch him?, I had no idea.
"We're here" Lucy pointed out as I came to a halt in front of a decent looking duplex.
"Get out" I growled, inhumane.
"Dick" Liam retorted.
"Out". I yelled and purposely hit my head on the steering wheel as I waited for them to alight the car for dramatic effect before I pulled out of their driveway and drove away with Emily.
Yep, Leo is fucked. See you in the next chapter. XOXO
