On The Way To Iginniarthal Town ■Third Chapter■

"Good one." muttered Kate, as they got of the bus. Raymond shrugged. Hiroki snorted and looked over the town. An eerie silence followed this. "Oh thank goodness! Mr. Lewison, Mr. Takahashi! My son, my beautiful son." sobbed a woman, dragging a 15 year old boy, whose head had a knife shoved in. Kate gulped. "Don't worry, we'll find this murderer. And have justice for your son." said Hiroki, dragging his and Raymond's suitcases. "You.'' Hiroki pointed to Kate and her group of friends. "Are coming with us." One of Kate's friends screamed. "OW! KEEP IT DOWN ALICIA!" yelled one of Kate's friends, Robert. "LOOK!'' screamed Alicia. All of them looked up and saw a dead body tangled with the branches. "Well. That settles it. This dude is a maniac." snapped Kate. Everyone laughed. "That's scary Mina. What if that was you up there?" asked Robert. "Fair point. I'll never climb another tree in my life." said Kate. Everyone laughed again. Robert looked like he'd much rather leave and never be looked again.

"I wish you could've met Adam. He liked cracked jokes." said Hiroki, his back turned and searched for clues. Kate and Raymond looked at each other and then looked away. "Right then, follow me and don't stray. If we happened to get separated from each other, blow your whistle. If no one answers, head to the nearest shelter. If a group happens to pass you, ask them for help, don't ask random strangers for help. They could be the murderer." said Hiroki, fixing his magnifying glass. Robert hugged Kate tightly. "Umm, Robert, what are you doing?" asked Kate, looking uncomfortable. "I just want to hug you and never let you go." said Robert, a little too loud. Kate blushed. "All righty, Kate and Robert will be partnered together. Next group..." "Mina, I will take care of you." said Robert, holding Kate's hand. Raymond laughed. Kate narrowed her eyes at him. Her eyes narrowed like Adam's did when he heard something he didn't want to. Raymond coughed. "Right then. Let's proceed." he said. Hiroki nodded and lead the way. After a few minutes, Hiroki whispered to Raymond. ''That girl looks awful a lot like Adam. Her eyes narrowed just like Adam's did. Could it be..." said Hiroki, tapping his chin. "Be what?" asked Raymond, biting his lip. "Well, if Adam had a daughter..'' Hiroki looked back at Kate, who was looking bored because Robert kept telling her not to worry. "What? You think Kate is Adam's daughter or some farfetched idea?'' asked Raymond, shaking his head. Hiroki shook his head.

Raymond laughed nervously. Fortunately at that moment, Robert chose to yell out loud, "Mina, look!" They all stared at a deserted path and an old sign that read "The Iginniarthal Household", at which Kate whispered loudly, "What kind of crazy teacher decided to take their students to this place?" Everyone laughed. Hiroki stared at her. "This isn't a laughing matter. People died here." Raymond stared at Hiroki and then said, "Uhh, yes well, we could all use a laugh." Hiroki shook his head and continued walking.
