Chapter Two: Slim Tall Guy

"This is the place guys~! Are you excited~?" My mother looked behind her seat at Avery, Lexa, and I. We all mumbled under our breath; none of us giving her a direct answer.

My Father had parked the car behind an almost sandy coloured building that split into two ways. The school had a tall black gate surrounding it and all of the open land it had. There were two roads leading to the entrance and another one leading towards the back of the school into the parking lot. One of my sisters, Lexa, pointed out the fact that there were barely any other buildings in this new area, just trees, hills, and one road where we had come from, leading us back home...but none of us were sure where the other direction would take us. There was a tunnel, and it was pitch black. So, we all decided to let it stay in our minds and drive us mad instead of checking out what lied on the other side. The drive here was about half an hour so, since we already lived in a suburban area it didn't take long to arrive.

"The principal said he wanted to see us all today. Isn't that exciting." My father wasn't excited. You could just tell by his tone of voice. My mother was nodding her head; her pearly earrings rocked against her hair "That's perfect! He finally gets to meet you all~! Ahh I'm so excited for you three~!" she clapped her hands quickly before taking off her seatbelt. My eyes rolled and gazed over to Lexa. she was looking out her window, "Alfred is here." She pointed with her thumb at our white 1985 Audi 5000 that had just made its way into the parking lot.

"Ah that's perfect! He came right on time with your bags~!" My Mother and Father stepped out of the car and let us step out as well. I stand in front of my twin sisters and stare out at Alfred's-well, our car, but he uses it. He was a butler after all. Our butler. My eyes squinted as they got used to the bright sunlight. My parents ran over to Alfred and started talking here and there. Alfred stepped out of the car and bowed a bit with a smile at my annoying parents. I continued to stare as Lexa and Avery walked towards the school.

"You think it's haunted?" I hear Lexa speak.

"No way! It's far too fancy to be haunted, Lexa! It has its own gate." Avery giggled as she responded. Their voices started to fade; my eyes still on the adults.

'Since when did they want to help Alfred..?'

I turn my head to the school and sigh, "No more friends… no more skateboarding… no more fun."

"Samuel dear~! Come help your parents with your bags~!" I ignored my Mother and cringed up at the tall dark building. My father had come up behind me and placed a hand on my shoulder, "you'll make new friends Sam. and there's something called recess~ you can skateboard then" He tried to reassure me, but I violently moved my shoulder away from him with a grunt,

"Fuck off." I spat as I made my way towards my sisters. At least they didn't piss me off during all this…

My sisters were standing in front of the backdoor, "It's locked, Sammy. Looks like we have to go to the front." Avery placed her hands on her hips, "This is dumb. I'm the blessed child in our family! Why do I have to go here??" Lexa and I share a glance and I smirk, "You put Gum in Marie's hair."

"So??"

"Ten times. In a week." I cocked an eyebrow. She only scoffed,

"She- she was pissing me off."

"Yea, not so blessed now are ya, Avery~" Lexa laughed and gave her a pat on the back. I nod, "very sinful Avery~ oh so very sinful~" We all giggle and hit each other on the arm or stomach. "I'll put gum in both of your hairs! Idiots~" Avery grabbed us both and messed up my hair. I laughed out loud and let her mess it up. We looked up and saw Alfred chuckling at our "roughhousing".

"Young Donnellys, your parents wish for you all to follow them to the front entrance. Please, if you'll follow me~" He bowed a bit and I sigh, "why can't that just tell us themselves?"

"My apologies Samuel~ but the Principle is waiting for you all, right this moment~" His Dark eyes looked away from us and to the sidewalk. Lexa spoke up

"Okay. let's get outta here then." She and Avery left me behind and walked towards the entrance, leaving Alfred and I alone. He smiled down at me and I huff,

"This sucks ya know."

"I know young Samuel~"

"Here. let me help you at least. My Parents can be hella annoying." I take a few bags off Alfred's back and he smiles again,

"Why thank you, young master~"

"Shut up. Now come on." I lead the way and make my way around the building towards the huge front doors.

As we started to meet up with the group, I saw these huge dark red doors as they started to open. My eyes were wide, "oh god, it's about time."

A tall slim built man made his way out the doors with his long arms out as if he was about to give us all a big hug.

"Ahh~! There they are! Just the family I wanted to see!" He came down the stairs and shook my Father's hand first, "Mr. Donnelley~" He nodded at him in greeting. My father did the same. The man shook my mother's hand as well and leaned down to kiss it, "The lovely wife~" He winked and smirked, "so good to see you both again~ and these!" He gave Avery and Lexa wide eyes, "must be the children! So glad to meet you both~" He kissed both of them on their hands and I cringed up my face,

'Ew?'

"Ah~ yes these are my twin girls~ Avery and Lexa~" My Mother pointed at them both with the widest smile I've ever seen on her. It was kinda freaking me out.

"Ah, Mrs. Donnelley, I thought you said there were three of them~ heh" The Man looked a bit… frustrated. My mother opened her mouth, "OH! Yes, there is! Samuel!!" She called my name and I pushed Alfred behind a wall with me as we hid.

"Young master..?"

"SHH."

I didn't exactly know what I was doing, but I hid. I think I was.. Scared? Shut up.

"He's probably still with our slav-uh Butler Alfred~! Haha~!" I hear her continue to talk. The principal nodded, "right, right~ well alright then, come on ladies~ let me show you around, maybe then your little brother will come to save you~ hmhmhm~" I watched my family walk inside with the tall man and the doors stayed open. I narrowed my eyes and grew annoyed,

"I don't trust that guy, Alfred. I don't trust him one bit."

"I do not trust him as well Young Samuel"

"Really!?" I turn to face Alfred and he nods,

"Yes, I trust your judgment, your gut never lies~" He poked my stomach and I smile

"Heh~ thanks, Alfred. At least you're on my side" I look out at the doors again and grunt, "guess we have no choice now do we....come on."

Alfred and I quickly made our way to the stairs and walked up to go through the doors. We were both hit with cool air as we entered. It felt really good after standing out there in the sun. I looked up and saw a huge wooden carpeted staircase leading up to the second floor. The inside looked old fashioned with statues and trophies made of gold. Ribbons, posters, and other cool looking things my old school never had. I was in awe. "Whoa…" I quietly let out. Alfred came up behind me, "Young master, I really should be heading upstairs to your dorm. I need to put all your bags where they need to be~" He pointed at the bags I was holding, "plus, you're carrying your sister's belongings" I look at the bags and let my shoulders sink, "damn it. Well. looks like we need to find that ugly tall guy." Alfred chuckled and nodded, "I know where the girls should be heading~ follow me" He gave me a wink and led me to the right side of the building.

There was a huge wooden spiral staircase leading to where I'm guessing the girl's dorms would be located. We made our way up and saw the long hallway with doors on each side. I cock an eyebrow, "the girl's dorms…"

"Calm down now young sir~"

"Mm- I wasn't thinking like that Alfred!"

Alfred chuckles and leads us to where Lexa and Avery would be rooming. I tilt my head up at the door number, "huh." I let out, "They get to room together?"

"Yes young master"

"I better room with someone cool." I crossed my arms. Alfred was opening the door with a smile. We walked inside and I put down their bags, "okay.. Mm-" I noticed a third bed, "who's that for?" I pointed at the bed. He shrugged, "I'm not too sure Young Master. A young girl I'm guessing~"

"I have to room with two guys?"

"Yes"

I pause, "That's not bad, they just have to be cool"

"Of course Young master, only the coolest for you young Samuel~"

I scoff and smile, "I get it I get it, Alfred, ~"

"And this is where the girls will meet their dorm mates and will be rooming~" It was the principle. Alfred and I step out of the room and they all see us. My mother gasped and stomped up towards me with her long-nailed finger pointed right at me. "Samuel Susanne Lawrence Donnelley!! What did we say about running off without letting your parents know??" She pulled me by the ear and pointed at me again and again. I hear Lexa and Avery giggling,

"Moooom!! I was with Alfred!" I stay in one place and whine. She lets go of my ear and hits me on the top of my hand,

"No more running off! Do you hear me? Your father and I were worried sick!" She pointed at my father then at herself. I tried my best to hold back tears. She tried to continue her yapping but was interrupted by the tall guy. "So this must be our golden boy Samuel~" He leaned down to shake my hand, "Pleasure to finally meet you," I growl at him and snap my teeth. He stepped back a bit with his hands up in defense, "whoa there partner! Hah~ I'm only saying hello~"

"Yeah well take your 'hello' and shove it up your-"

"He's so shy isn't he~! Hahaha~!" My mother hit me behind my head, cuing me to shut my mouth. I grunt and rubbed my head.

'Bitch'

"He's quite the fighter~ don't you two worry~ we'll have that out of his system within,," He leaned down and looked right into my eyes with his own. His eyes were such a light blue they almost looked grey. His pupils stayed the same size with every second that passed. Was he...scanning my behavior? I shivered.

"At least two months~ hmhm~" He stood back up and gave my parents a confident grin, "trust me~ starting from tomorrow~" He gave me a grin as well; his eyes empty, he even blinked slowly yet his pupils stayed the same size. They almost seemed...Fake....

"Wonderful!" Both of my parents spoke. I huff. Something tells me I might be staying here for way longer than two months...
