16. The Princess was Abducted?! Wait, December is a Princess?!

Lunch time.

The boys brought the fish that they caught to the kitchen in the cottage where they stay to cook it for their lunch. When they are done, they've called the girls to eat.

Jean went to the girls' room intending to call December, but she saw no one inside. Furrowing her brows, she walked to their group and asked, "Have anyone of you saw December?"

"Didn't she say she'll be resting in our room? Why? Is she not there?" Jessa ask back and dip the fish she have in her sauce.

Jean shook her head as she sat beside her.

"Maybe she took a stroll out. Just call her phone," Brianna suggested.

Eugene took out his phone and dialed December's number. He feels that something's not right, and he started to get worried when no one answered the phone.

The others stopped eating when they notice the grave expression of Eugene as he keep on redialing December's number.

When the call remained unanswered, Jean started to panic since she knows the real identity of December. She fears that someone have abducted her friend.

Sir Ryan stood up and go to the room where the girls are staying to investigate. He heard a ringing of phone and saw December's phone. Coming to a realization, he called back to the royal guards office and reported the situation as an urgent matter. After informing the headquarters, he went out of the room and tell the rest what he concluded.

"Ms. December's phone is inside the room. Someone's got the princess. I've already informed the royal guards and we need to go back to wait for them to arrive," Ryan urgently said and called the employees based on the island to prepare the boat.

He did not forget to check all the employees and when he noticed someone is missing, he cursed inwardly. With his great memory, he remembered the employee who went with from the main island of the Paradise is the one who is missing.

"Sir Ryan, what do you princess? December... she's a princess?!" Brianna ask as they went aboard the speedboat.

The others were also shocked when they heard what Ryan have said. Their friend is a princess?!

Eugene started the speedboat and did not dwell on the revelation that happened. What he prioritizes now is to find and save December from the people who wants to harm her. Ryan, on the other hand contacted his fellow guards to secure the whole place.

When the news reached the king and queen, they dropped their schedule for the day and head out to the Paradise.

The both of them were very apprehensive since they have just recently found their lost daughter, and now this happened. Despite all the precautions they've made to keep December's identity as a secret, someone still managed to unearth it and harm their daughter.

The palace raised their security to the highest level and the king instructed the guards to keep a close eye to Princess July.

"Mom, Dad? Why do I have so many guards today?" Princess July asked with a pout and frown on her face.

The queen caressed her cheeks but she couldn't smile as worry is gnawing her heart knowing that one of her child is in danger. "They will protect you while we are go and visit your sister." The queen chose to lie to the child so as not to startle her.

When July heard where her parents are going, her eyes sparkled with excitement. She did not noticed the grave expression of her parents and innocently thought of meeting with her sister personally and being able to have fun at her uncle's resort.

"Can I come too? Please, please, please? Can I also go see my sister? I wanna have fun with her..."

The queen's eyes turned red and she feels guilty lying to her daughter.

"I am so sorry honey, but we can't bring you along today. We... have some official business to talk with your sister. You can have fun with her when she comes here, yes?"

July pouted and was a bit resentful to her mother when her request was rejected.

"Tiella, the car's here. Let's go." King Augustus said and saw his little daughter's face. He could only smile helplessly at his daughter's behavior and kissed her forehead. "Don't be mad at us. Mom and I will go pick your sister up. Why don't you prepare a welcome tea party for your sister?"

When July heard her father's suggestion, she agreed and went back to her room. The tea party mentioned by the king is a play for the little girl with her dolls and maids.

The king and queen hurriedly set off when July was out of their sight.

December slowly gained her consciousness and was startled with the unfamiliar surrounding. She's inside a luxurious room decorated lavishly. Confused she get up and walk around the room trying to recall what had happened.

Her eyes widened and put her hands to her mouth as she gasped when she remembered how she lost consciousness. Someone abducted her!

She tried to opened the door and found out that she was in a ship. No one locked her door since they are sure she do not dare escaped out of the open sea. She silently trudge on the corridor and tried to find ways of escaping.

She can swim, but she also do not want to risk her life jumping out of the sea.

"Hello, Ms."

December yelped and spun around. She saw the man who pretended to be an employee of the Paradise staring at her while holding a tray of foods.

She cautiously step back when the man walk towards her.

"You..." December could not think rationally when the distance between them is only a meter apart left.

"I am here to deliver your food. We will arrive at our destination in an hour. You can freely roam around if you want, Ms." The man casually entered her room and put down the tray on the table inside.

December was left outside the room, dumbfounded when she realized that the man did not attack her and just simply leave after "delivering" her food. She entered the room and saw that the food prepared are her favorites.

'What is this? Wasn't I abducted?' She was bewildered but felt her stomach grumble when the food aroma reach her nose.

'Better to feed myself first before I think of a escape plan.'

December finished the food quickly and start to tour around the ship since they allowed her. She noticed that only the crew members of the ship are present aside from the man who abducted her. She walk to the upper deck and she noticed a lifeboat in the corner.

December could not stop the joy from swelling in her chest when she saw the lifeboat. She look around and when she was sure she's alone, she inspected the boat.

"I didn't thought that they will be this careless. Tsk tsk..." she whispered to herself and walk back to her room to pretend that she'll be resting.

She'll not let go of the opportunity they have opened for her and escape in a way they will not expect.
