Humanity

Definition - Compassionate, sympathetic, or generous behavior or disposition : the quality or state of being humane.

Humanity is a funny word that we, humans, only know the definition of what it is but we don't know what it means. It is funny to me how people say we shall help others or proclaiming the goodness, and fairness to life.

People never cease to disappoint me.

Especially, when they claim to be generous and merciful, seeming the perfect examples in the public eye yet turn the other cheek and they're more maliciously evil than a demon itself.

At least with a demon, you know it's true intentions; with a human, that is never the case.

My mother always asked me, "Why don't you trust humanity, you're not going to get very far? You must trust to be trusted."

My response? "Humanity can't be trusted, blinded by greed, ambition, and power, humans will harm others to get what they want."

Majority of the people don't even know what it is to be humane. I have seen people go with the flow and destroy or dehumanize others.

Famine.

War.

Backstabbing.

Kids locked in cages.

The inability to accept others for who they are.

People supporting cunning people who are total opposite of humanity.

I have seen the oppression, the brutality, and the death of the souls it was towards too and those caught in the between.

It sickens me when people believe that they are doing the right thing, despite proven otherwise. How blind are humans to believe everything? To be guide like mindless sheep to your deaths - perhaps, not physically, but morally.

In my lifespan, Humanity has fallen so low, to unacceptable measures yet with each coming generation, it continues to go further down. People fear Satan and the number 666 so furiously yet don't fear to lose themselves morally without hesitation, ironic.

Honestly, I am just waiting for the day, humanity sets itself on fire. To see the total destruction of what humans will cause.

Because...

This is what humanity is.
