Jess waited patiently as she looked around.
'This place is really organized and clean... I guess they like things a certain why.' She thought to herself.
She kept looking around when she noticed someone dusting off in the distance.
'Wait... How did I not notice him? He's at most 12. He's really little.'
She kept watching him until she caught him stealing a quick glance at her. Giving a toothless smile, she waved at the boy. She felt saddened as the boy quickly looked away going in the other room.
'He must be shy.' She thought as she looked around a little more. She noticed a small picture frame on an in-table. Curiosity got the best of her as she stood up. She walked to the frame, picking it up seeing a young couple with a little girl who looked about 5.
'They must have a daughter. But... What about the other kids. Don't they belong to him too?'
She turned the frame over and tensed when she saw.
'Paigee 1999-2006.'
'Oh my god, their daughter pasted away... That's so sad..'
She set the frame down while looking around more. She went toward the direction the little boy went. When she peeked in the room she tensed as she saw the kid about her age on one knee whispering to the little boy. She noticed the little boy was crying but not speaking.
Her heart ached when she saw the older kid hug the young one seeing they clearly cared for one another. At that moment the young one opened his eyes making eye contact with Jess. His eyes widened as he tapped the older boy and pointed at her.
The second the oldest looked at her, she knew she should run. She didn't waste time as she ran in the other room and sat on the chair, praying the food would be brought out before the boy would hurt her again.
