Day 26

[So Lilac, what brings you here?] Rusdy.

[I'm trying to go down to the 17th floor]

Munching down on the blizzard tiger's meat I killed yesterday together I awnsered rusdy using [Telepathy] causing him to drop his meat down onto the icy floor and leaving his jaws open in shock.

[Di-did you just talk inside my head?] Rusdy.

[Yep]

[So you now also have the [Telepathy] skill huh? It took me a whole 2 years just to acquire that skill and you just learned it two weeks later, you really are strange] Rusdy.

[Wait, do you not have skill store?]

[Skill store? I've heard it from one of my so called sisters before I don't really know what it is] Rusdy.

Wasn't there some kind of requirement in order to get it?

[Skill Store]

[Acquire skills in exchange for Points. Only available to naturally born monsters that have manage to evolve 2 times within a short time period after evolving the first time]

Ah, so that's what the requirements are..... Wait isn't that really hard to achieve!?

Holy shit I'm so lucky that I even manage to evolve fast enough to acquire this thing! Though I guess I should thank myself for always endangering my own life.

[Ah right, Hey do you know the way to the 17th floor?]

[Yeah] Rusdy.

[Then can you take me there?]

He then pauses for a second and his antennas begin to twirl around, is that what it looks like when an insect thinks?

[I don't know.... Are you at least strong enough to massacare a horde of wraiths alone?] Rusdy.

[I have killed a wraiths when I'm at the 15th floor so I guess I am?]

[What kind of wraith?] Rusdy.

[Um, the ones in the 15th floor?]

[You do realize I'm trapped in this floor and have no idea what kind of wraith you're talking about right?]

Ah right, he's bound to be here because of the Title Hexios gave him. I told rusdy what the wraiths I fought look like. Some of them having black sycthes and some of them just have sickles for arms, their bodies being entirely made of dark miasma and wearing ragged hoods.

[Hmm, by how you're describing the wraiths you fought I'm guessing they're the first evolutionary lines then of their species then. Though some of them are pretty tough to take down without having the use of the Light and Holy aspects of magic]

[But those aren't exactly the type of wraiths I'm talking about. And by the way you're going to meet a lot wraiths from the 17th floor onwards, at least that's what I have heard about from my so called brothers]

[The wraiths you're going to fight down there can easily kill a orc with 3 hits you know? If you really are ready then I'll take you there however.... Judging from what kind of wraiths you've been fighting I doubt you will survive for a even week there] Rusdy.

Killing an orc with just 3 hits is already strong enough to be able to kill me, and not to mention that I'm going encounter lots of them onwards from the 17th floor.

The thing that makes wraiths diffrent from any monster I fought is the fact that they don't attack you just physically but also mentally. I have once got slashed by one of the wraiths in the back in the 15th floor.

It didn't hurt physically as much as it was mentally. What I felt at the time was the same feeling I get when I got hit by the haunt's ghost flame however think of it as now painfull than just making you feel uncomfortably scared.

[So what do you suggest I should do then?]

[Hmm, well you did kill this blizzard tigers right?] Rusdy.

[Yeah so?]

[So I suggest that you practice fighting them for a while. The wraith's on the 17th floor uses a similar tactic when attacking other creatures. Oh, and thanks for killing some of these guys they are pretty annoying to hunt down] Rusdy.

[You hunt them?]

[Pretty much. I only do it when they start a blizzard though, they're very annoying whenever I want to go out] Rusdy.

[How!? Those things almost killed me you know!! And you're calling them annoying as if they're small fries!]

[Well thats because I'm pretty experienced in killing monsters like them] Rusdy.

Now I'm starting to think that rusdy isn't really just a normal giant black ant. He's a Mage-Tank kinda guy but he's talking about killing them as if they were goblins.

[By the way..... Why aren't you surprised even though I look different now?]

[Not really. I'm surprised at first but well, all creatures evolves sometimes right? Speaking of which you're pretty easy to recognize than other monsters] Rusdy.

[Why is that?]

[How do I say this, you're mind somehow has that soothing feeling whenever you warm up near a fire from the cold air whenever I link to it] Rusdy.

[Ok.....? I'm going to go hunt some tigers then]

[Good luck! Oh and I want some too please!] Rusdy.

[Yeah]

I climb out of the icy tunnel of Rusdy's underground nest and out to the snowy plains of the 16th floor. Now where can I find those things?

He said that they usually appear when there's a blizzard but there isn't really a blizzard right now so where exactly should I go from here?

*Eagle Noise*

Suddenly I heard the sound of an old enemy of mine..... the Skyeagle. I look up and see the bastard diving down through the air straight to me. I wait for it to get closer and closer until it is now right infront of me.

I took a step back and quickly cast [Storage Rift] infront of me. The greatsheild I stored pops out infront of me making a "Bonk" noise as it crashes into it.

I put the greatsheild back into [Storage Rift] and I slash the eagle in the throat decapitating its head. Hmm, what if I collect the heads of the creatures I decapitate?

It would be kinda cool to collect them.  They'll be like my trophies or something like that. I then look at the dead Skyeagle. Somehow this one doesn't have the black substance coming out of its eyes so I don't think this is one of Hexios's pets.

Yeah I think I'm safe, probably. I put the skyeagle corpse in [Storage Rift] and I continue my search for some Blizzard tigers. While searching I check my status to see if any of my skills leveled up and it seems that [Holy Magic] have leveled up to level 2 and my [Cold Resistance] have leveled up to level 3, even though its already level 3  I'm still kinda freezing here.

Lets see what I got from [Holy Magic]....

[Holy Magic: Heal, Bless Barrier]

Barrier?

I cast Bless Barrier and suddenly my body glowed with a whitish yellow light for just a second and then dissapears. I don't really feel any changes in my body. I checked my status and my mana is dropping by 1 per second, so is it just some kind of invisible force field thing?

I won't know until I try however I really don't want to hurt myself so I guess I'll see what happens when I'm fighting or whatnot. Thinking about magic I remember that I have one more magic that I haven't got to know how to use yet, The [Light Magic] Mirage spell.

I cast mirage and I still don't see any changes in my body. I move as to see what it is actually doing. Hmm, what the hell does it exactly do? Is it some kind of AoE spell kr something?

I look around me and there doesn't seem to be-

I quickly take a huge leap back as I saw a monster behind me when I look around. I readied my claws and cast [Summon Claw]. Infront of me was a monster that has a very similar look like me. To be honest its features look exactly the same as me.

It didn't move an inch nor does it like it plans to. I take the chance and pounce on it with my claws ready to slash its throat wide open. Even though It saw me pounce it didn't even react nor move an inch. I guess it just wants to die huh?

As I got close to it I slash its neck and.... What?

As I slash through its neck its whole body became a blur and vanishes infront of me. Where did it- how did it!?

°°°°°

A few agonizing confusion moments later I manage to figure what was going on. Apparently the monster that I just fought was mirror copy of me. It didn't have stats whatsoever but it looks exactly the same as me. So apparently mirage makes a mirror copy of me. And apparently I go invisible for around 3 or so seconds after I cast it.

This is actually an amazing way to confuse enemies since I can combi this by first using Flash, then Disorient, and last but not least mirage, if this is done correctly I could just manage to confuse all most anything.

If only I had known how to use this when I was fighting the 3 Blizzard Tigers at the time, It would have help me by a lot.

Oh well, whats done is done. I can't really change the past so why even bother. After walking for around an hour I decide that I should go back since I can't really seem to find any Blizzard tigers at all. I guess the Skyeagle is the only thing I manage to get today.
