Chapter 2, Discovery Below

"AH! What a wonderful day it is!!" Sol.

Today! I may have manage to figure out what the recipe of ingredients is needed to create the Anti Holy Potion!!

What if the recipe is the opposite of my Undead Potion?

"Nay... It is probable that it would carry the aspects of Life rather than Holiness... Ah! but a Life Potion may be a valuable asset for the resurrection if the result is very undesirable" Sol.

I continue to circle around in my room with my head facing onto the floor hoping it would help me focus my thoughts.

The door to my room then slowly opens revealing Joseph the zombie and Wiliams.

"Hmmm, I believe all of this ideas can wait for now. Joseph! Have you readied the Haunting Group?" Sol.

"Greaaagghhh....." Joseph.

"Excellent! And Wiliams! Carry this bag for me" Sol.

I throw my bag filled with my tools onto him. I put on my Tophat, fix my suit and grab my satchel filled with vials and a one handed weapon. After thinking about it... I suppose after I am done exploring that floor I'll leave this place, I still need to find her after all.

"Now then.... Let us see what's on the other side of that large door" Sol.

***

I continue to pull the chains harder and harder with both my right hand and the wrist of my left hand. When I'm finished breaking all of this chains I'll break that skeleton's bones with both my fists and the I'll-

*Clink!*

The chains suddenly break making me fall forwards onto the wet and dirty floor.

Maybe I should just focus all of my anger to help me break these things faster.

***

Ah this reminds me of the time I was still unconscious of myself as an undead. The haunts flying elegantly around me, Wiliams crawling beside me and a horde of zombies lead by joseph behind me. I suppose I am quite lucky for not ascending to the afterlife.

Although I am grateful for this nostalgic feeling, I am not grateful for the fact that the normal stone brick corridor and had turn into a full fledge maze within the past 9 hours.

I reopen my small note book to see the map of the Labryinth that I drew a small portion of last time.

"Uh.... I think we're here and.... Now we go right" Sol.

We continue to walk and walk throughout the Labryinth for 2-3 hours without stopping a single second. While walking I continue to scribble the Labryinth's newest layout in order to easily get back home without needing to go through every corridor I come across.

"According to my map this should be the wa-" Sol.

As I took another step I slip and fall backwards in which making all of my servants including the Haunts to catch me midfall. Thankfully, by the efforts of all my servants I manage to not get my suit dirty however the same thing cannot be said the same to my Tophat which has fallen off my head.

As I was about to grab my tophat off from the ground I notice that there is a lot of shattered bones everywhere and large ones at that. I look infront of me only to see a very large rib cage that would befitting a Cyclops- No a Giant!

I quickly rush in to take a closer look at the giant ribcage infront of me. After touch the bones infront of me using my hands.

"Soul Sense" Sol.

My green flames combust uncontrollably as I try to sense the soul inhabiting the giant ribcage.

"None... No soul whatsoever"

"If I remember correctly, Giants were one of the troops used by Diabolos to fight in The Sin War" Sol.

Although the war ended around 750 years ago there are still remains of the Giants within this Labryinth, even though all of it is broken its all still in quite the good shape.

"Wait.... The Sin War.... *GASP* That's it! Sin!"

Sin is the opposite of Holy meaning that if I collect enough ingredients which has an affinity with the aspect of Sin then I should be able to repel the aspect of Holiness!!!

And since this giant was used by Diabolos in The Sin War it should carry some of the aspect of Sin with it!

"Joseph! I want you and the other zombies to carry this back home. Wiliams, The Haunts and I shall continue our journey to the Snowflake crested door!"

"Onwards my servants!" Sol.

We then continue our journey through the labryinth trying to find the correct way to the door, and of course our journey there did not come without its own fair share of troubles.

We encountered a group of lost Orcs who had a mission to find their lost brethren from yesterday, although Orcs are powerfull they are no match for Wiliams and The Haunts. We also encountered a new phenomena that now exist in this Labryinth such as sudden pitfalls and traps galore.

"After 2 hours of searching... I finally found it!!" Sol

Infront of me is now the Large Snowflake crested door that leads to the 16th floor. Judging by its crest alone I am guessing its quite cold there, I wonder if I will meet the Demoness here?

Alright then! lets see what is behind this large door!!

Log 3

I push the door with my skeletal hands forward trying to open it however it seems as if that there is something blocking it from behind making hard for me to open it.

Suddenly I feel as if I am absorbing something through the finger tips of my skeletal hands.

"Hm? What is this.... Feeling just now" Sol.

I look at my skeletal hands and see nothing there, was it my mind playing tricks on me?

"Ah forget it, Williams! Help me open this door!" Sol.

He then put both of his slender hands onto the door and pushes it with such force it slams open and cold rustling wind burst out and snow begins to pour from inside spreading its cold further.

"What in Null's Horn is-"

Wait.... This is?

I hold my tophat onto my head as to not let it fly away and enter the room. My boots step inside the deep and wet snow as I keep marching forwards towards the harsh rustling snowy weather within the floor.

To anyone that has live for around 3 years within this Labryinth the abnormality of this Labryinth is nothing but normal to all, however this is different.

Air, Heat, Light, Darkness, Weather, Time, Life and Death are all the strange phenomenas that the Labryinth possess and they are all beautiful fakes created by Lorie-Loretta when it created the Labryinth.

This snow, this weather, this unending rain no flowing sea of Mana was not made by the Labryinth nor was can it be made by it. The affinity of mana coming from all of this snow and wind is not made by its Labryinth's Chaotic mana affinity.

Soon after I manage to pass through the harsh winds and out into the calm, plains of snow showered by the bright crystalize light coming from a gigantic crystal on the middle of the vast ceiling.

I look at the snow below me and grab a portion of it with my skeletal hands.

"This is no ordinary snow.... It is of too high quality to be one" Sol.

And then I finally realize something from the portion of snow on my skeletal hands, its shrinking and its releasing a fading bluish aura which are then absorbed into my skeletal hand.

"Its mana, every snow, every gusts of wind, everything! Its made of mana!" Sol.

This place! This very place is a heaven to Greater Skeletons such as I!

Every single thing here render my mana refilling vials useless!

The green flames of skull begins to grow bigger and more violent as I begin to absorb the rich mana in the air. I feel refreshed, powerful, free!

Soon after the green flames engulfs my entire skeletal body, thankfully they do not burn clothes like normal fires do.

*Eagle like bird noise*

I look above me and see a silhouette of a..... Is that a bird?

The bird like figure high above me begins to get bigger and bigger only to make me realise that apparently... Its coming towards me.

No matter!! With this overload of rich mana I can handle measly bird like that alone! However.... I do not think that any of my spells would reach that high.

"Williams!" Sol.

*Creepy Screeching*

"Execute plan CataHaunt!!" Sol.

Williams then grabs one of the Haunts near me with his large Slender hands.

"I want you to aim at that bird that is coming at us, and Mr. Skulling I want you to activate your [Kamikaze] abillity when you either hit or near that bird understand!" Sol.

"Clackle, clak" Mr Skulling(Haunt)

*Creepy Screech*

"Excellent! Now fire at my mark Williams" Sol.

I look to the bird flying closer and closer in sky and suddenly I feel an odd feeling swelling inside me it bursts through my skeleton eye sockets. Somehow I manage to enlarge my vision and diminish my vision how ever I want, is this the effects of me being overcharged by perhaps?

"Fire!" Sol.

Williams then throws Mr. Skulling so high into the air that he reaches the bird in a matter of a few seconds, HAHA! I knew increasing a wendigoes muscle mass was a good idea!!

From my improved vision I can see that Mr Skulling hits the Bird's left wing he Explodes creating a large cloud made of blue flames. Seconds later I then see the white bird falling down from the sky.

"Hmm, I wonder if I could create a flying goblin using its wings?" Sol.
