Is it a propsal?

A rare sight came to be witnessed, Park Mi Soo was sitting in front of Kim Jung Hoon, an aged man, with skin folded like waves, white hair, and greed in his eyes. He suddenly knelt down in front of her, and started weeping.

"I can't find words to express my gratitude. I thought, that God had send an angel, when I first heard from your secretary, that you wished to invest in my small little business. Thank You. Thank You, Ms. Park. I really wish if their could be any way, this poor man can show my gratitude." Kim Jung Hoon, expressed, putting in them every bit of his emotions.

"Don't get me wrong but, are you even trying to sound sincere? I don't think so." Mi Soo uttered, with an unchanged staunch expression.

He immediately bent his head, facing the floor, "You mistaken, I am really sincere. If you ever need I am also ready to give you my life. Just order me, Ms. Park."

"I don't need your life, I need something else from you." she said.

"Just order me, I give it to you, if it is in my ability, Ms. Park." He replied, obediently.

"Your son, Kim Min Jun, I want to marry him." She shamelessly proposed, without a moment of hesitation.

He was shocked, but surprisingly Baek Ha who was standing next to her was more shocked, she stared at her, with a blank expression, as if she had seen a ghost.

"And in return of your promise, I promise to support your business till the day it survives." she continued.

Before leaving, he had requested Mi Soo for some time to consider the proposal. On the way to the company office, the air in the car had a weird tension in it. Their was an awkward silence between Baek Ha and Mi Soo.

"Should I be congratulating you on your proposal? Because I think don't hold any more importance in your life than this! Marriage? You should have atleast consulted me. That to from that University student. It this some new method of yours to torture and punish him?" Baek Ha disclosed her dissatisfaction.

"Punish?" Mi Soo smirked.

"Love. It's more like love at first sight. I fell in love and now I want to marry him. Simple. And by the way, I didn't think you were the type to feel hurt on such a petty thing." informally, Mi Soo corrected her.

Baek Ha bursted into a sarcastic laughter, "You have to kidding me? He is 7 to 8 years younger than you, and what about him, does he even have any feelings towards you? How can you decide to marry someone who haven't met once properly? It's just ridiculous!"

"It doesn't matter, what matters is that I fell for him, and now I want you to be a good friend and prepare the marriage." Her tone once again turned from friendly to stern.

Filled with disapproval, "Marriage? He said that he will think about. He didn't agree, so what if he refuses, than what will you do than. Blackmail him? Kidnap him?"

Mi Soo Interrupted,"What are saying!? Lee Baek Ha. You have known me for more than 15 years, and you know very well that I never play a bet in which their is even a slightest chance of losing. So, stop whining and prepare for the wedding."

"She will regret it." Baek Ha murmured to her self, looking out the car window.

On the other hand when the proposal a placed in front of Min Jun, he answer was flat rejection.

"Just listen to yourself, You sound so absurd. Am I a toy? who you can sell to any woman in return for money? and whereas want kind of psycho woman sends a proposal for someone who she has never met?" Min Jun rebuked.

"Trust me once, son. I am your father. I will never want anything bad for you. She is an angel...angel I say, and she seemed to sincerely like you. " His father tried to convince, him.

"But you said said she in her early thirties, just think of the age gap. I still have to get a job and I have future plans!" Min Jun continued to show disapproval.

"Ya! You fool don't you understand? She doesn't look a day older than 25, she is rich, no siblings, no other family, is popular and most importantly likes you! You can spend the rest of your live in luxury, without having to lift a single finger. Other than that, think about us, as long as she continues to invest, you mother and I can retire peacefully. And even a psycho wont want to marry a worthless fool like you." His father remained determined.

This wasn't enough to convince him for marriage, but this was enough to convince to meet her.

9 October 2016.

Kim Min Jun had dressed up, to meet the lady who had send for him the marriage proposal, at the restaurant he was invited to. He confidently entered, and scanned the dinning room of the restaurant. That was a useless act, as their was only one lady in the whole hall, facing the other way, seated in the table at the center of the dining hall.

He advanced towards the table and upon reaching her, the moment he took a glance at her face, he was astonished.

"You, your Park Mi Soo? "he instantly reacted.

"Have a seat Kim Min Jun-ssi. I hope you don't mind but I already order food." she said calmly.

A thousand questions arose in his mind, "Why in this world would you send me a marriage proposal? Ms. Park I respect you for helping my father, but I don't think I have any feelings for you. You are a grown up adult, than how can you do such an amateur act? and most importantly why me? Is this some kind of drama? in which they fall in love at first sight after bumping into each other?"

Mi Soo continued to drink wine, and calmly placed the glass of wine on to the table.

"Because I love you.". she shyly smiled. It was a Mi Soo who no one had ever seen, the one who felt shy, and smiled when it came to saying the thing in her heart.

But spontaneously, in a single without any hesitation, Min Jun uttered, "I have a girlfriend, and I love her a lot."

She picked up the glass of wine, took a sip, and then handed over to him a box. Upon opening the box, Min Jun was confused to see a brand new phone.

Mi Soo clarified his confusion, "That day, when you bumped into me, you dropped your phone, so as a compensation, and consider it as my token of love. It has my number saved, so if you ever.. you know, like consider my proposal or need me, you can give me a call."

Min Jun couldn't refuse, and instead humbly nodded. They decided to at least have dinner together, and during dinner Min Jun questioned,

"Isn't it weird that, their are no other diners here today?".

She answered, "Who would come here, when the owner has the closed the restaurant for tonight."

Min Jun stopped eating, as he was surprised because of her answer, and out of curiosity asked, "Then how come, the owner allowed you to dine in tonight."

Mi Soo smiled, "Because I am the owner."
