Memory Lane

I still remembered that day

When I first stepped into the school campus

I was like entering into a new world,

A school dress with hanging water bottle on my neck.

Fortunately I made friends there

Who were likely naughty as me,

Our own stuffs went on ,except studies,

Teachers shouted their lungs out to make us quiet.

We enjoyed our tiffin break a lot

Some were busy playing

While some others were busy in their fights,

And the other fellows in throwing pens and pencils.

Punishments were our daily routine along with studies,

"Stand up on the bench and hold your ears" we were specially used to it.

As the days are passing, we are loosing our golden times

Now nobody will say " Stand up on the bench and hold your ears",

This days won't return anymore and would be nostalgic to us.

Just we will step out of the school and say goodbye.
