"Correction. Adopted sister."

"Yes, they are adopting me."

"Yes, they are taking me today only."

"There were only 2 of them."

That's it. I didn't find it necessary to answer the last question. Which was if they were hot.

Teenage hormones..

Then they said as I was being adopted by the Winchesters, so I have to look presentable. They forced me to change into a nice full sleeves top and jeans that I had. Then the girl with glass asked me if she could style my hair with a french braid. I obviously gave her the permission, because let me tell you my hairs are some real pain in butt.

"So you are telling me that the family, who are adopting me had a daughter or a sister named Grace?" I asked and they nodded their heads like some puppet.

"And now they are adopting me because I remind them of their sister?" I asked again and they again nodded their heads like puppets.

That doesn't make sense!

"And they are one of the richest families in the USA with some great connections around the world?" I asked this question with a little hesitation.

What kind of great connections do they have that they couldn't find their sister in 15 years?

They again nodded like they were born to nod their heads only and I won't lie but it started to irritate me.

"And you are saying that I could be their long lost sister?" I asked sarcastically while trying to show fake enthusiasm.

The sentence itself sounds so funny in my ear that I almost cracked up.

They again tried to nod their heads when I started to laugh, couldn't help it anymore.

How could they even agree with it? This isn't some crappy emotional drama going on here. Were they even listening to what I was saying? I can't stop laughing.

"Stop moving your head. You are gonna ruin my hard work!" The girl with glasses snapped at me.

"S.. so.. sorry.. I couldn't help.. you guys are so funny.. please tell me some more jokes like that. I didn't laugh like this in a long time." I said while clutching my stomach and wiping some tears from the corner of my eyes.

I looked at their faces and they gave me their meanest glares.

Ahh, well..?

"We are serious!" All of them said that at once, letting me know the depth of their word.

"O..Kay.." I said that word unsurely while dragging it a little and looked at them weirdly.

They were still glaring at me.

"Geez! Calm down. Why are you all getting so worked up?" I asked.

"Because it's true and you are not agreeing." Said one of them.

"Yeah, yeah." I said boringly.

It doesn't matter how serious they sounded but I still can't accept it. They got it all wrong. They are making some good gossip.

'Yeah, Grace! Don't let them get into your head.' I said to myself which made them confused as they didn't hear me.

I gave them a small smile. I tried not to hurt their feelings and acted like I believed them. I nodded my head to let them know I got it.

By then my braid was done. I looked at the mirror and it looked beautiful.

"Thank you." I thanked her with a bright smile and in return she smiled back.

I still didn't get their names as I have some more queries to clear, so I think that could wait.

"Ok, apart from your assumptions, tell me something about them. And please, I don't want to know anything about their looks." I said that because they just won't stop fan-girling about the Winchester boys.

"Well what do you want to know?"

"What happened to their sister?" I asked the question that was buzzing in my head for a long time.

"Well there are rumours that she was kidnapped on the day she was born."

Ohh..

"Someone says she was killed by some rivals."

Whoa, what?

"Someone says she was lost for her mother's carelessness."

I frowned at that. That's some serious allegation against a mother..

These 'may be' s were frustrating me more. I shouldn't have asked them in the first place. They were just being ridiculous.

"Stop being ridiculous, girls! Why would someone kidnap or kill a newborn?!" I snapped at them angrily because even ridiculousness has limits.

"Because that newborn was the only daughter of the Winchester empire, the only girl among 21 heirs of the Winchesters. The precious princess who had wrapped all her brothers, uncles and cousin brothers around her tiny fingers even before she was born. The only happiness and.. the only weakness!"

All four of us turned our head to look at Dylan Winchester, whose complete focus was on me only and he was looking pretty serious. While he was making his way inside the room,I could see the girls' jaws were almost touching the ground in surprise.

I have always been a girl who notices even an unnecessary twitch of lips and analyses it. I believe nothing in this world happens without a reason and if you are able to find the cause of the happenings around you, you will always have an upper hand in every situation. And a thing I noticed now was he indirectly said that they have enemies who can be a threat to life.

I put it aside for now and asked the obvious question.

"What do you mean by 21 heirs?"

He chuckled a bit before answering.

"My grandfather has 4 sons and they have 20 sons and a daughter."

I looked at him in shock while widening my eyes. I was shocked it would be an understatement. I mean what the heck! They didn't have birth control at their time or what? And with how many foster brothers am I going to live with?

"I know, I know. It is a little shocking but what to do? They all tried for a daughter but weren't blessed with one. At last they gave up while my parents were blessed with yo.. I mean with my sister. But the game that fate played was really cruel and we lost her."

Sadness covered his cheerful face remembering his sister. But I didn't miss the part when he was accidentally going to say 'you'.

"You said 'has'? Even after being missing for 15 years straight, you still believe she  is alive?" I asked softly and carefully not to hurt his emotions. Because you know he may be a weirdo but he loves his sister.

"I don't believe, I know. I know she is alive." He said confidently.

'That's some great level of confidence you got there, bro.' My subconscious mind praised him in a mocking tone.

I know, my mind is weird.

He quickly cheered himself up. And looked at the girls.

"Hello beautiful ladies! Mind if I take my beautiful sister away from you?" He said cheekily. The girls blushed at that and nodded wildly.

What the?!

"Correction.Adopted sister." I didn't take time to correct him.

"Whatever helps you to sleep, sister." He said with a cheeky smile while showing off his dimples.

I also have a dimple on my left cheek and I don't know why I don't have that on my right cheek.

Back to conversation, what was he trying to prove by calling me sister again and again?? Don't tell me he also thinks I am his lost sister..

"Shall we go, doll?"

I looked at him weirdly.

"Why are you calling me a doll?" I asked in irritation.

"New nickname. You can also give me a nickname." He sounds excited thinking I will give him a nickname.

Wait a second before I burst your bubble.

"When I first saw you I called you Mr Weirdo in my head. If you like it, I will start calling you that henceforth?" I asked super sweetly.

He pouted a little. He was going to say something. But he was interrupted.

"I asked you to come here to get her not to get glued here." Mr Dominic's voice boomed in the small dorm room.

Mr Dominic was giving Dylan an irritated look. I looked at the girls and it seems like all the girls stopped breathing at his presence. Then he looked at me.

"You ready?" He asked, still maintaining his cold demeanor.

I nodded affirmatively. He came ahead and offered me his hand to hold. I picked my backpack that I didn't unpack before, then held his warm and big hand with my cold and small one.

Just before leaving the room I remembered a very important thing.

"Can you wait for a little? I didn't catch their names and I want to bid them bye."

"No need. It's not like you are going to see or meet them again." He said emotionlessly.

I frowned at his rude and cold behaviour.

How can I stay with him in the same house if he keeps behaving like that?

I looked above as if looking at god's direction and asking Him to give me patience to live with him under one roof.
