Chapter three

So as her boss stood on the podium she stood besides him waiting to be called upon for questions from the flashes that's called the press who judge everything she will do for the rest of her life after taking on such a successful business.

"Today I asked you to come here to tell you that I am retiring and I have found and trained a new CEO and I would like to introduce them to you my i present the new CEO"

"Hey my names Sarah and I have spent the last 2 years training to become the CEO of this company which I have worked for nearly 3/4 years, now any questions?"

As soon as she finished there was a massive amount of flashes from cameras and people shouts and hands in the air with her feeling a bit overwhelmed she took a deep breath and started to answer the questions in which they wanted to ask.

As the press even was finished she headed to the back and took a massive breath while she blinked in order to get her eye sight back as she wasn't quite used to that many flashlights.

When they got on the jet to go back home she sat there with a massive amount of paperwork to do which would normally take the boss hours to do but for her an hour or so which means she can sleep the rest of her flight from New York to her home.

When she was to land she would need to talk to her real estate agent about her house and how it's progressing with the improvements to it to make it accessible for her mum to get in she bought a small 3 store house not that far from the main office so she won't have to drive which means she can get in early as she liked that a lot but couldn't due to the traffic.

Once the paperwork was finished she sat down with a jin and tonic and plugged her headphone in ready to listen to some music when she got an email from her mum saying that she was going for surgery the next morning and that she was in the hospital right now.

Sarah emailed her back to ask her if she wanted anything and if she could do anything for her.

See that's why she needed to fix her house so it would be accessible to her mum since she was going to move in with her due to her not being able to afford her house and that she needed part time care for her which she could afford but since her house wasn't in the district in which the care came from she got charged a lot of money for them to come out to her which she found stupid so that's also why she chose near her work since the home was within walking distance as well so she could take her mum there if needed to like if she needed to go on a business trip which she is not doing as CEO she will only do it if it's absolutely needed to she was tempted to move them out to New York but her mum wasn't allowed to fly outside the country due to her declining health problems which is very understandable since she won't be able to get insurance on her which means the company could get sued or worse since it's her mother and she has a lot of money to back it up with.
