He cared for her still and lost interest in other girls and just focused on college and his passion of writing while he kept an eye on her even on social media 9 months apart until they met in the summer at a beach and they started talking catching up and he apologized " i'm sorry for everything" he said and she replied "it's okay" and then continued talking where out of nowhere a guy hit on her and started running his mouth about having sex with her and that drove Damon crazy and punched the guy in the mouth and started beating him and he didn't stop and she begged him to stop luckily the people there were able to break up the fight and she calmed him down as soon as the fight was over. She took him away and he convinced that he's calme but the other wasn't he seeked payback for the humiliation Damon gave him he called a bunch of his friends and followed Damon until he made sure the coast is clear and they ambushed they were 6 guys carriying bats and steel pipes and they came down at him beat him with no mercy and then left him bleeding suffering from a bruised rib and a broken arm after 15minutes someone glimpsed Damon lying there and called an ambulance and there was the suprise her mother was a nurse in the hospital and she saw him. The following morning she told her about his condition and so she visited him and apologized over and over because she felt guilty and visited him more than once a day and just like that they got back into each other's lives talking all day & all night on the phone also texting where after 2months they decided to get back together and so they did.
