Honour The Firefighters

Ash, Pikachu, and Brock have made their way to Vermillion City after travelling through Digglet's Cave, Ash still confused about what he saw at the hidden beach and pondering if he saw the symbol or if it was all in his head.

Ash, Pikachu, and Brock walk into the Vermillion City and are alerted by the black smoke coming up in the distance, "let's go check it out" Ash tells Brock, they start running towards the smoke, it starts to get hot the closer they get, they see burning red and orange flames burning in the distance, "It's a fire Ash, we need to put it out before it sets the city on fire" Brock says about to let out his Pokemon but is stopped by a loud voice and sirens coming in fast behind him. "GET OUT OF THE WAY!" the fire truck comes speeding past Ash, Pikachu and Brock as the fire truck passes Ash he sees a group of Squirtle hanging on the side and standing on the back of the truck is a Squirtle with Black sunglasses, "Its Squirtle Pikachu!" Ash shouts out turning his head to Pikachu.

The fire truck speeding towards the building, skids to its side as it pulls up just before the burning building, the Squirtle jump off the truck and immediately start using water gun putting the fire out, they start getting closer towards the burning building, they are just at the feet of the building when a part of a balcony falls down, it's about to hit two of the Squirtles but the Squirtles disappear into thin air.

*Bang

The falling balcony hits the ground and is immediately put out by the Squirtles that disappeared, they eventually put the burning building out as the people that gathered to watch start clapping and cheering for the Squirtles. "Squirtle!" Ash yells out and pushes through the crowd running towards his Squirtle, "Squirt!" Squirtles with a massive smile takes his sunglasses off and runs towards Ash and Pikachu, Squirtle jumps up, Ash catching Squirtle in his arms gives him a massive, tight hug. Bulbasaur hops out of his Pokeball and sees his old friend hugging Ash, "Bulba" Bulbasaur lets out one of his vines and taps Squirtles shell, Squirtle lifts his head up as Ash puts him on the ground, he turns his head to see Bulbasaur standing there waving hello with his vine and a cheerful smile across his face, "Squirtle!" Squirtle shakes Bulbasaur's vine as they get closer and embrace after a long time of not seeing each other. "Come on out and say hi" Ash lets out his Pokemon, Pidgeot, and Butterfree appear from the Pokeballs, Squirtle shocked as he sees two of his oldest friends appear, Pidgeot and Butterfree come closer to Squirtle and say hi patting Squirtle on his back. "I thought that was you Ash!" a high pitched soft feminine voice comes from the distance, Ash looks up and sees a lady running towards him, she has blue hair, with deep-set blue eyes, she's wearing a pink shirt that is covered by red overalls, Brock gets love hearts in his eyes as the lady appears to be Melani, "Bulba" Bulbasaur eyes light up as he sees his old partner.

Bulbasaur runs towards Melani and jumps up giving her a forgotten hug, Melani smiles as she digs her head into Bulbasaur bulb, "Bulbasaur, how are you?" Melani says with a slight tear of joy running down her face, "Ash long time no see" another voice captures Ash by surprise as this one is a deeper feminine voice, Ash turns around and sees another lady, she has green hair wrapped in a ponytail, red armbands cover her wrists, Ash's attention gets dragged to her bright pink sleeveless top that comes down into a mini skirt, separating her stomach and hips, a black belt wrapped around her waist as the top has a v opening over her chest with a black and grey checkered under-top. "Aya!" Ash shouts out, Brock who has now turned to jelly falls to the floor with love hearts in his eyes, "I thought that was you two on the side of the road" Aya tells Ash while she turns too Brock who has melted on the ground, "were you driving the fire truck?" Ash asks, "Yeah I've been training the Squirtle Squad for quite some time now, the ninja training really helps them dodge and manoeuvre their way through burning buildings without getting hurt." Melani lets go of Bulbasaur and walks over to Brock who has just stood up, "I heard you opened a Pokemon Village, is that true Brock?" Brock turns his head in amazement that word has spread around about his Pokemon Village, "That's correct, I have been helping sick and injured Pokemon with my little brother, he's there right now with my little sister, they are looking after the Village while I travel with Ash." "That's amazing Brock," Melani says as she puts her hand on his shoulder, Brock gets love hearts over his eyes again and melts.

Ash and the others are at the fire station, Bulbasaur and Squirtle are sitting on a yellow couch in the corner of the room, the two Pokemon are catching up, "So how did the fire start Aya?" Ash asks taking a sip of the water out of the cup in front of him, "there have been quite a few fires recently, we didn't know what was causing them until just the other day," Aya turns her head towards the window, she looks out as she explains to Ash and Brock on why the fires have been starting, "we had just put out a fire on the edge of the City and lucky we just made it in time, the flames were getting really close to the forest, then out of the corner of my eye I say an orange square, it looked a lot like an oven, when I looked closer it turned out to be a Rotom and just before we could capture it, it disappears." "that's strange" Brock exclaims as he leans back on his wooden chair, "what do you mean," Melani asks Brock intrigued on what will be the answer, "well it is known that Rotom likes to play jokes on people and other Pokemon by inhabiting objects but they normally switch between objects and their jokes don't cause this much harm, you also said that the Rotom fled like it didn't want to be seen that's another thing when Rotom play pranks it likes to take the credit for it by appearing after the prank is over this Rotom just flees," the others ponder what Brock has told them.

*Fire! Fire! Aya, Melani another fire has been started at the Pokemon Fan Clubhouse come quickly!

Aya and Melani shoot up, "Squirtle come on!" Aya shouts out as they run out of the house, "Bulbasaur return, we are coming too!" Ash shouts out running out the house right behind Aya and Melani with Brock following. They arrive at the burning Pokemon Fan Clubhouse, the Squirtle Squad jump off the fire truck and start putting out the flames, "Help, help" a lady in a red dress, and blue pearl earrings comes running over in terror "my husband and Bonsly are still in there! Please save them!" the woman says frantically, "all right we've got this, Squirtle lets go!" Aya shouts out to Ash's Squirtle and they run into the burning house, Squirtle starts dodging and jumping over the wooden planks on fire with Aya right next to him doing the same thing. "Ah!" Aya trips over a fallen plank and looks up at the bringing roof, she sees another burning plank falling and about to hit her.

*Bshhhhhhh

Squirtle uses water gun putting out the fallen plank and pushing it away from Aya before it lands on her, "Thanks Squirtle," Aya says getting up from the ground, they go further into the burning house and see the husband huddling over the scared Bonsly, "Take my hand!" Aya puts her hand out grabbing the husbands hand and lifting him up, Squirtle grabs Bonsly and puts the scared Pokemon on his back, "Let's go" Aya nods her head to Squirtle, "Squirt," Squirtle nodding back as they run through the burning house and outside to safety with the rest of the Squirtle Squad putting the last of the fire out.

The husband and Bonsly reunite with the husband's wife. Ash, Brock, and the other people and Pokemon who have gathered around cheer and clap for the Squirtle Squad, Melani, and Aya "You guys where awesome!" Brock shouts out, "Yeah! Huh?" Ash turns his head as an orange sparkle appears out the corner of his eye, "AH! Aya Rotom!" Ash points towards the floating heat Rotom, "Now I've got you" Aya shouts out, "Squirt!" Squirtle steps forward but Aya puts her hand out, "Leave it to me Squirtle I want to catch it, Venonat come out and assist me!" "ROTOM!" Rotom lets out a robotic shout and uses flamethrower, dodge, and use supersonic, Venonat dodges and hits Rotom with supersonic confusing the wild Rotom. Rotom confused swaying side to side as flames start bursting in every direction, "Now Venonat, head butt" Venonat launches itself into Rotom knocking it to the ground, "Pokeball go!" Aya throws the Pokeball capturing the wild Rotom inside, the Pokeball wobbles side to side but then bursts open with Rotom appearing, "Dang it," Rotom now snapped out of its confusion uses thundershock on Venonat sending it back, "Venonat shake it off and use psychic, the psychic hits Rotom knocking it off its balance in the air, "now sleep powder go!" Venonat runs in closer towards Rotom and unleashes a spray of purple powder from its body over Rotom causing Rotom to go to sleep, "This has to be it! Pokeball go!" Aya throws another Pokeball hoping this will capture the wild Rotom, the Pokeball lands right on top of Rotom's head capturing the Pokemon in the Pokeball, the Pokeball wobbles side to side as Aya, Melani, Ash, and Brock look on closely, the Pokeball stops wobbling and a small star appears out of it. "Yes, we did it Venonat!" Venonat and Aya run towards the captured Rotom and pick the Pokeball up. "You did it Aya you caught Rotom!" Ash congratulates Aya who has a wide smile on her face.

Ash and the others are back at the fire station, "Rotom comes out" Aya lets her newly captured Rotom out of its Pokeball, Rotom appears from the bright light, it's startled on where it is and flies throughout the room they are in, "Rotom calm down" Aya grabs Rotom and pulls it close to her, "you're ok, you're not in trouble, I just want to know why you started all those fires?" Aya looks Rotom in the eyes, the others surround Aya and Rotom, listening closely, Rotom looks around at the others surrounding her, her eyes start to water as she turns back to Aya, Rotom comes out of the oven and hugs Aya and starts crying, "Huh" Aya says softly looking down at the crying Pokemon, "I got it!" Brock says to the group, "Rotom was lonely and just wanted attention, it probably started those fires so it could get your attention it most likely would have put the fires out if it wasn't for the Squirtle squad" "Is that true Rotom?" Aya looks down at Rotom who has picked her head up and nodes "if you wanted attention you could have just come up to me you didn't need to start those fire" Aya hugs Rotom back. "Squirt" Squirtle pulls on Ash's leg, Ash looks down and sees Squirtle with his hand in a fist, "I think Squirtle wants to come back on your team Ash" Melani explains smiling at Ash, Bulbasaur appears from his Pokeball "Bulba bulb" Bulbasaur smiles and pats Squirtle with his vine, "Is that true Squirtle?" Ash putting his hand in a fist smiling at his two Pokemon, "Hey Ash we better get going," Brock tells Ash as he says goodbye to Melani and Aya, "you're right, Squirtle, Bulbasaur lets get going off the Celadon City!" Ash, Pikachu, Brock, Bulbasaur, and Squirtle wave goodbye to Melani and Aya walking out the house.

*Fire! Fire!

Melani and Aya look up, "But Rotom is here how can there be another fire this quick?" Melani says with a worrying tone.

*Emergency! Emergency! Aya, Melani a huge Pokemon has lit the boats on fire come quick hurry! Hurry!
