Taehyung's POV
Running through the white doors of the hospital building, I was shook as soon as I had gotten a call from Jin to come.
"I-it's an emergency Taehyung-ah please come fast." He said with a heavy voice, his tears evident in his speech.
Moreover what caused me to freak out was when Sue didn't pic up any of my calls. Ever since the morning when she left home.
Pushing aside my dark thoughts I headed over to the room Jin asked me to come to.
I was about to burst in through the door when two of the hospital staffs blocked me from doing so.
Sighing and more anxious than ever I took a seat outside the emergency room.
"Taehyung," I caught Jin slipping out of the emergency room. Still wearing his lab coat assigned by the WRO. His voice low and cautious.
"Taehyung–ah, she didn't..." tears started slipping out of his eyes as he tried his best to make eye contact.
"Hyung. Who!?" I panicked as I witnessed my dark thoughts from earlier turn into reality.
Jin turned his head to face away from me.
My head started to spin and my breath got heavier. I leaned onto the wall beside me to save myself from falling.
It couldn't be
I hurriedly pushed open the door to the room and say a pale figure laying in bed. It was indeed Susan.
I felt tears forming in the brim of my eyes. I felt it flow down my cheeks. My heart stopped and all of my senses seemed to betray me at that point of time. My ears ringed with the sound of her heart rate monitor going off.
My legs become weak and I fell on my knees.
I couldn't recall Jin hyung pulling my outside the room. I couldn't recall getting into his cars and witnessing police vehicles parked outside the hospital. I didn't recall reaching home and being laid down on my bed. Our bed.
Neither did I recall falling asleep and waking up to think that it was all a dream.
______________
Jin's POV
It was the second loss I had gone through that year. Somehow this felt worse. Worse cause this time it was actually someone who I cared for.
Someone who had given me her everything at the time when I needed her the most but I couldn't help her out when she needed my help. My support.
Never in a million years could I have possibly thought of a reason why she'd commit such an act.
I remember the police officer who I met in the WRO say something similar along the lines "it was a suicide." or "She did it to herself."
For now I made sure that Taehyung was doing fine. I knew that this would indeed affect him the most.
"Huyng look." Taehyung held a red box in his hands which seemed like those where you'd put the wedding rings in.
"Taehyung-ah, I'm sorry–"
"Aish Hyung, I knew you'd think of something like that." Taehyung chuckled.
"Its for Susan." The boy turned red as he spoke.
I chuckled at his adorableness and gave him a thumbs up.
"So when do you plan to ask her out then, should I say 'brother'?" I asked him teasingly.
"Soon..." he awkwardly answered trying to his best to hide his embarrassment.
Once again I felt tears tickle down my cheeks as I wiped them away.
Putting my car to a halt as I parked it in my garage, I sighed while pulling out a note from my glove box. A note I had successfully noticed and picked up from her lab room earlier.
Unfolding it to reveal what was written inside, I didn't know what to make of it.
