Lydia stares in shock, she's fallen out of her chair, covering her mouth.
"Y-you're death? L-l-like an actual being?" she mumbles,
"Yes, I brought Adam into this world."
"Holy crap...."
"I saved Caroline From Xenix."
"What the hell?! Why didn't you help us then?!" Lydia spits,
"I'm only allowed so much interference. There would be chaos with many gods of different worlds and me if I interfered too much. I am rooting for you and Adam and Violet and the others."
"Who's Violet?"
"It's time you met her I suppose. She's a friend of Adam's. What happens, I cannot control. But I have sympathy for you all your allies Lydia."
"But you won't help us."
"He can't, I can. I'm still a part of this world."
Lydia gets to her feet. "How?! You said it yourself Xenix is powerful, Death the actual being won't help us, I've seen his power and felt it myself!"
"That's because it will take everyone, the watchdogs, Adam, his friends, you. But he and his allies are powerful. Take them out. And you'll have a chance." Caroline says,
Lydia sighs and runs her hands through her hair. "It's easier said then done."
"You're smart Lydia. But if I tell you what happens, Xenix will win." Death says,
Lydia grunts and sighs, "F-fine. Okay. So Adam's alive? Is he okay?"
"If Adam were dead, the pain you and he felt when you assumed the other was with me, would have been much stronger. You would have not wanted to live."
"Such is the curse of Liara, and blessing." Caroline says,
"So, why are you with her?" Lydia asks,
"She was supposed to die, she promised she would do anything for you. Your mother is as selfless as Adam, and has your heart."
"Yeah well have you seen me the last few days?" Lydia asks,
"I had compassion on her and restored her to this world. I befriended her against what I'm meant to do."
"Even Death gets lonely." Caroline says,
"You're in love with Death?" Lydia asks raising an eyebrow,
Caroline smiles, "He's the only one that didn't see me as a monster. So yes."
Lydia shakes her head, "What the heck?...."
"It's a lot to process-"
"Where's Adam?" Lydia asks,
"Lydia. Take a breath first."
"I did, yesterday, where is he?"
Caroline and Death look at each other and back. "I'll get someone to go with you."
"I don't need an escort, tell me where."
"Lydia, you'll want her."
Lydia rolls her eyes, "Fine, today then!"
"We can handle things from here. Come with me Lydia, we'll walk to her."
Death nods and like crushing a can, shrinks into himself into a ball and with a puff of smoke, disappears.
Caroline and Lydia walk out of the house and down the street to the neighbors a few doors down. Caroline walks up and knocks a few times.
The door opens. A young woman with black hair stands in the doorway and smiles at them.
"Cara! You brought a friend."
"She knows who I am Rola."
"Well I'd assume so, you're Caroline after all."
"Lydia, this is Rola, the earth Watchdog. Rola Lydia. My daughter."
Her eyes widen, ".....For real?!"
Caroline nods, "Holy crap. H-hi."

She smirks down at her evilly, the door opens. She looks back at Xenix walking in.
"What did I say last time?"
"I can't think of anything cruel enough for her. I thought you could help."
Xenix marches over. Isabella's heart pounds hard, this is it. This is it, she's going to die. She can feel her heartbeat in her fingertips, she moans through her gag as she cries.
He walks up and punches her hard in the stomach. She whines and cries loudly, he grabs her throat and pulls her up. The chains that attached to her metal handcuffs snap, breaking her wrists.
She yells through her gag and grabs at his hand. Sylvia stumbles back, shaking lightly at the action.
Xenix turns and throws her into the ground hard. She screams again as he breaks her shoulder blades and cracks a hip.
"Put her in a cell till I figure out what to do with her." Xenix spits,
In other words, how to kill her. Sylvia doesn't hesitate to grab her and pull her by the hair, dragging her to a cell upstairs, she rips it open and throws her in.
"You're pathetic Isabella....you should've at least died." Sylvia spits,
The other prisoner turns to her, her skin is so beaten and bruised and raw but she manages to do it. As Sylvia turns and leaves.
"Are you okay?" she asks,
Isabella lies there crying. The woman whines at her bruises as she reaches through the bars into the other cell and lightly touches her back.
Isabella gasps as her wounds heal. Isabella turns and throws her hand through the bars, grabs the collar of her torn shirt and pulls, the woman grunts as she hits the bars, her shirt tearing more.
"I didn't ask you to heal me! Leave me the fuck alone! You are nothing! You're a spineless piece of shit! You're scum! What were you hoping I'd join you?! I'll die a thousand times before I do!" she yells in her face,
She throws her back, the woman lies prone and groans in pain. She looks at her and pushes herself up to her side. Isabella spits through the bars on her thigh.
The woman isn't even phased by it. She turns and crawls over to a tray of food. She bites into a small, hard brown ball of disgusting dried bread.
"Isabella....it's important not to lose sight of what drives you."
"Shut. Up."
She hangs her head, "....It helps you survive. Is it power? You're a strong woman Isa-"
"SHUT UUUUUUUPPP! SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT THE HELL UP!" Isabella screams,
The woman barely flinches, she closes her eyes and pictures herself, running through a prairie of tall grass. She comes to a stop at the top of the hill and looks across the open field, five people standing, smiling at her. She waves to them energetically.
She opens her eyes and smiles, she fights back the tears, smiling at the thought of them.
She remembers joyfully leaving he arena with Kairi beside her she noticed the painted cabin. That was a fun day. Kairi always acted tough to protect the ones she cared about. She missed Kairi.
Isabella sobs, letting her tears hit the stone floor. She hated Lydia, she just wanted to see her die.
"Isabella?"
She turns and glares at her. "Do you ever shut up?!" she cries,
"I could kill you if you'd like? It'd be more peaceful?" she says,
Isabella stares at the ground and cries again. "W-why....do you even care?! You're against us, not on our side!"
"No one deserves to be tortured by Xenix. I would use the oxygen inside you to do it. It'll hurt for only a second."
It makes her cry harder. She doesn't want to die, and she sure as heck knows she's going to, Xenix will make sure she suffers a lot.
Isabella wipes her tears away and sits upright. She turns and scoots to the bars, "Do it fast."
Eve scoots close and opens her mouth, telling Isabella to do the same. She can't force the air in her cell to move through the bars but Eve can use the air in Isabella's cell.
"It'll be a little uncomfortable."
Tears stream Isabella's cheeks. Eve raises her hand in front of her open mouth and holds her middle finger in with her thumb, then flicks out her middle finger. The air enters and flies down her throat, out her lungs and into her heart valve. Isabella lets out a whining gasp and clutches her chest, she stares at her, pain fills her chest. She falls forward against Eve's hands.
Eve pushes her back, but grabs her collar before she falls, then lowers her to the ground.
"Sleep well Isabella."
She turns her body around and leans against the bars, pain runs through her body. She wonders if she should have let Xenix kill her. No. She was right, no one deserves that fate.
She wishes she could join Isabella, but Xenix would never let her. "She passed out huh?"
Eve closes her eyes, fear explores her. Sheila. Sheila catches on though and rips the door open she examines Isabella, she yells angrily and marches into Eve's cell.
She lets out screams as Sheila beats her over and over. After she's finished, she gets to her feet, breathless from beating her so much.
Eve moans, lieing there, shaking from the pain. "Wait till Sylvia comes in, I'm sure she'd love to end you."
She turns and marches out and down the hall. Eve lies there, uncrying. She's had enough pain, sure it hurts obviously. But not enough to bring her to tears, not anymore.
She sighs, she wishes she could use the element more often, but because she's so weak, she's only able to use it once in a while. But if she tried to escape, there's no doubt it would be unsuccessful.
She touches her flat palm to the cold floor. "Do you still watch over me?" she asks hoarsely,
She scoffs and coughs painfully, "It's been so long....i can't quite remember if we promised we would." she says softly,
