"So handsome, pretty! Brother, you look prettier than the girls I saw before." Eufemia cheered. Even in her past life, she liked to admire one's beauty. The boy in front of her, all washed up and dressed up was qualified to be in her top five of the most handsome—or pretty—men she had seen in her whole two lives.
Urian felt uncomfortable. He had been given clothes of his exact size. They were many different, too. This girl had definitely prepared his arrival in advance. Though she was very satisfied by her brother's appearance, Eufemia looked a bit distressed. "Hm…Though you look very good like this, you're too skinny. Amelia!" She called out. Immediately, a maid with blonde hair and brown eyes arrived in the office.
"Amelia, I want you to prioritize brother's menu and give him more meat, understood?" Eufemia said without looking away from Urian. Amelia bowed and answered 'Yes'. Ever since Eufemia had made it clear that whoever slacked off would be punished, no one dared to refute her and were serious.
"Urian, is there anything you are allergic to?" She tilted her head. Urian shook his head.
"No. Though, I may have trouble digesting seafood…" He said quietly. It seemed like he was a bit disturbed by asking for things when he had just been brought back. Eufemia nodded and looked at Amelia, who took note of it, bowed and left.
"You know, Urian, you're the county's Young master and successor. Even though you're an illegitimate child, no one would dare to refute your words. If someone does, just tell me, okay?" She smiled at Urian, whose ears flushed a bit as he frowned.
Eufemia had inherited the looks of her mother, who was half Eastern. She had thick, glossy straight purplish night blue hair which looked like a clear, starry sky and large, beautiful golden eyes full of dense, long lashes of the same color as her hair. Her skin was snow-white, soft and smooth like silk, her lips were red, and her nose was petite and straight. Her rosy cheeks, with a bit of baby fat, were adorable and pinchable.
She was otherworldly and looked adorable. Urian stepped back from Eufemia and cleared his throat. "Ahem. Please do respect my personal space." Eufemia chuckled at his shyness. "Sure, brother."
Eufemia sat on the couch and patted the spot beside her, before dismissing the maids who were in the room. Urian reluctantly sat on the sofa, the furthest away from Eufemia. She did not pay attention to it and spoke to him, nonetheless. "Brother, you know, if you want to be a proper Earl after I finish rebuilding this crumpling County, you'll have to get a bit less shy."
Urian looked at her. "How do you plan on rebuilding the mess that this bastard has made? You're only six years old." He raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms. Eufemia knew that Urian had probably gotten a bit more comfortable with her.
"Of course, it won't be that easy. However, I have some tricks up my sleeve. Bastien already started making the arrangements, it's only a matter of time until everything's in place." Urian frowned. Did she have to be so secretive about it? Eufemia continued: "Of course, I'll tell you about what we'll do, but I don't think telling you now is a good idea, especially when some people are eavesdropping from behind the door."
Urian turned towards the door in a haste. However, Bastien was already in front of it and opened it. Two maids were startled and started trembling. "P-Please forgive us, Young miss!"
She looked at the two. 50% each. "I'm afraid people who would betray us do not need to stay here. Bastien, please send these two maids out of our mansion."
"Yes, my lady." Bastien answered and dragged the two girls out. Eufemia chuckled. Urian turned back with a shocked look on his face, only to be startled as he saw her right beside him, face to face. Eufemia leaned on Urian's shoulder and whispered her plans.
"What!?" He shouted in disbelief. This girl was crazy. Insane!
Selling weapons and poisons, what kind of idea is this!!?
