Gee, what happened? I looked around, blinked a few times. Until- EWW! What kind of guy is this? I looked at him. He didn't have short hair, but not long hair either. He had mid-hair. He had a long 5 inch dirty brown beard. I looked at the back. I was in a cage with a chain at my back. Ouch.
"Well, this must be the squealer hmm?" he said in the deepest voice. Lower than an average person's voice.
"The squealer?" I asked, really confused. "I don't think—" "Midget!" he shouted, really rudely. "You think I'm going to let you go!? Oh no. You do not know what I have done." He chuckled. "Chicken Nugget." My face turned beat red. I thought to myself, I'm really mad but I couldn't do anything to him. So I said, "NO YOUR A CHICKEN NUGGEt!" He clouted me on the face and comets of spit flew from my mouth.
"You see, I'm only doing this because, by my intelligent ways, I want to destroy Adasha. I gain control of the powers, and be a new leader of the country," the man said. "But to be able to, I have to keep myself anonymous."
I looked at him as if he was crazy because HE IS CRAZY! He turned to me with his long gray jacket and his vest and his watch that connected to his pocket. So old days.
"But if you are the witness, you will ruin all my plans. So if I catch you escaping you will—" As quick as a snakebite, he fetched out his musketeer sword and pointed it at my chest. "—roughly experience death. And you wouldn't want that do you?"
I shook my head, feeling my heart going out my mouth. "Good, good," the man said. A crewman from outside the room called, "Mister Jok Kenlin. We have a problem."
He looked at me and said, "Good night, and I better not hear that you escaped."
He turned off the light and slammed the door. That must've been the leader of the Botnoskins.
A man with a hat and those undershirts went to him. "Sir, that girl is still crying and whining." Jok Kenlin sighed. "Then do what I told you millions of times. Knock her out!" "Yes sir," the man jested.
He ran downstairs and got the bat. Then, all I hear is just a thuk. And a thud. I'm really afraid of what will happen if I escape. But, I need to—seriously, I NEED TO. If I stay here, what will happen to my home? Mom. Where will I go?
I started to get scared. The place was dark and there was no way to escape anonymously. If I open the door, the door will creak. And plus, my legs are tied! I shook my leg like crazy. I lifted it up, shook it around, twirled myself and then I accidentally did a somersault. I hit my head on the ground and almost had a concussion.
I crashed through the floor and landed on my back. THUD! "Ow, ngh," I moaned. Wait, my legs and hands are free! I got up although my leg was still injured though.
I limped forward, not knowing why. I looked up and saw little holes. It's really hard to see what's going on when you can only see the bottom of the crew's shoes.
So, I went forward, a little bit knowing why, because there was no point in going backwards. I limped and limped and limped and limped until- BOOM- I crashed into something.
Honestly, I feel like that could've been a wall. I touched around it and-oh wow- I felt a door knob. I opened the door and saw stairs. This could lead me to freedom! But that Jok Kenlin, what would he do?
I went up the stairs feeling a little hesitant. Then I opened the door and saw a ...wow. I'm truly impressed.
This bear-headed girl-just like me-was in a chair, looking depressed. She was wearing leggings and she had a white shirt with a name showing on there with a bunch of sparkles.
Wow. She has a bruise on her head and she had a bow between her ear-hold up. She was probably the person who got hit! I paced myself to jump out but what about Jok Kenlin? Bah, forget him.
I went out and she looked at me and- "AAAAAAAH!!" Her scream was muffled because of my hand. "Shhh, are you ok?" I asked. She was looking at me blankly and stuttered, "I'm-I'm-I'm terrified."
She looked around and her chest was going in and out. She was breathing heavily. "I can't get out of here. I'm trapped." Her eyes got damp and tears started to flood out. "Look at me," I ordered. She cried more. "Look at me!" I almost yelled. She stopped and looked straight at me.
"Were going to get out of here, okay," I said, trying to be brave. But I TOTALLY REGRETTED IT! Well, no point of being a baby. "no were NOT!" She exclaimed. I replied with,"yes we are." She looked so discouraged.
I looked around and—aha! Got an idea! "Follow me," I said. We both went under the trapdoor I went through. We ran inside, peeked at the bottom of their shoes and ran until I found the door
"Grab my hand," I ordered. She nodded and she grabbed my hand and got away from the ground. I went up and saw… a crewman. "He's missing. WE GOT A RUNNER!!!" I closed the door quickly. "We got to go!"
"Why?" the female prisoner asked. "The crew!" I cried. They noticed we were missing!" "Oh, I totally forgot to tell you," the female prisoner confessed, rolling her eyes-at herself—I think. "They check on the prisoners at one o' clock. We should've escaped earlier!"
I'm so discouraged, now we're on the search! WHY GOD! WHY!!!! Wait. If they find the trap door, we can escape out! "Do you even know where you're going?!" the female prisoner shouted.
"Yes I-" Crash! Me and her rolled on the floor and hit-wine?
But THAT doesn't matter, because you got—yep that's right—the crew!!
"He's over here!" one of them shouted. They faced their bayonets at us. But apparently, the female bear started kicking the wine into the holes that made the wine go—Pop Pop Pop Pop! The wine caps hit the men and they fell or they covered themselves.
Soon, all the men were on the floor, knocked out. "Wow," I said truly amazed. "Who the hey are you?" She looked at me and said as if she was Wonder Woman or something, "Call me Phoebe."
We both ran outside and 5 men came to us. We punched and kicked, I do remember pushing a man into a room and he crashed. Another man got Phoebe in the neck and she flipped over him and smashed his face.
I was attacking more men. When one came to me I jumped and he tripped. "Watch where you run!" I exclaimed. Phoebe was doing good. She was even dancing and was still fighting the crew.
Jok Kenlin was up looking at the sky. "The East Wind," he said to himself. "Sir!" someone yelled. He looked at one of the men.
"What's the whole problem about?" he asked with his cane on his leg. "20 men were found knocked out in the bottle room," the crewman said. "I'm sorry, how is that possible?" he said in his low rumbling voice.
"I'm afraid the two prisoners had escaped." There was a moment of silence. Then Jok Kenlin said, "What else." The crewman told him that we knocked out 20 men on the ship. 5 x 4, let's go!
Me and Phoebe were running to find an exit. "Do you know where you're going?!" I said. She looked really unsure but she said, "Yeah duh!" We walked by the driving room of the ship and a crewman was there. But as usual, he attacked us.
We kicked his stomach and he fell over. We dragged him and he drowned in the calm cold ocean.
We looked in the driver's seat. It showed a map. "What's this?" I asked looking at it. I opened the booklet, it showed a bunch of maps and everything. Until I saw this, it showed a room filled with Adasha's legendary weapons!
It was guarded very securely. Anyone who stole will get beat and stay in jail for life. "What the," I said. "That's it!!!!" Phoebe was confused.
"He's trying to get the legendary weapons to destroy Adasha. To gain all the power of the land!" I said. Then a tear went down her cheek. Now, that's half reasonable and half straight agonizing!
I told her it was okay, no need to cry if we were going to get home soon. But that confidence went out so fast because more crewmen came with the AK-47 rifles!
"GAH!!" I screamed. Phoebe kicked a crewman and he crashed into someone and fell. "Let's go!" she shouted. The crewman started shooting their rifles.
We dodged, and ducked and moved! A crewman caught up to me. He clouted me and I fell and rolled. I got up and held his arm and kicked his face. He punched me and I kneed him and he fell and rolled.
"Hey!" Phoebe yelled. "Watch out!!!" I looked at her and a crewman pounced on me. We rolled and crashed on the stairs. And I was UNCOMFORTABLY, and of course-ly, was being choked tightly until we both crashed on a picture. Glass fell everywhere.
Wood flew around like bouncy balls. I kicked his face and went off flying like a rocket down to the bottom. I crash landed and rolled. I got up and ran to find Phoebe.
"Phoebe must be this way," I thought to myself. But more men came! "Nope, the other way," I said. I ran like a cheetah while the crewmen were chasing me with their AK-47's.
I went more briskly until I crashed into someone. The man I never wanted to go into. Jok Kenlin.
He faced his Musketeer (or known as the foil) sword at me and said in his dark voice, "So, you decided to make that choice—" He got closer and continued, "—after I warned you."
He turned to the crew and said, "Take him to the same place that lady was taken. And do the same with him." What were they going to do?! Oh god, oh father! They grabbed my arms so tight my bone would've cracked. They dragged me and forced my head down and brought me to the same prisoner room.
GOODBYE MOM!!!! I'll never see you again. I'm so scared and frightened. Why did I have to be that hero in the first place? WHY! They entered me into the room and got a knife.
"You're done, goner," one of the crewmen said. He raised up the instrument of death to raise it above my head. Until, he fell. "Oh," I said in relief. Another man picked up the knife but then he fell also.
Then, I noticed. Phoebe was the one who did all that. She whacked the other men's heads together and took me. "Thank you my sister thank you!" I shouted. She kicked the window with her heel.
The window shattered and we ran out like we were escaping a flood.
"How can we escape?" Phoebe worried. I looked around and saw-a boat! "Come on!" I said. Phoebe took off her high heels and threw them in the water. She jumped in. "Wait, the rope!" she said. "And men are coming!"
She was right, and Jok Kenlin was running with them! I got out my claws but they barely grew. I cut and cut but it was like bulletproof rope! "Don't let him get away!!!!" shouted Jok Kenlin.
"Come on! Hurry!!!" Phoebe shouted. "I'm trying. God, cut this thing!!!" I said. And—slk—the rope was cut. The boat fell and landed in a big SPLASH! Jok Kenlin saw the boat float away. "Make the ship go faster! I want those people ASAP!" "Yes sir," the people murmured.
"Stay down!" I said to Phoebe. We both stayed down. The water current pushed us faster away from the ship. And, there was a moment of silence. Until, me and Phoebe laughed. We escaped. I can return home!
But how? What if I never turn home, what if I'm even more far away? What if we never go to land? Gee, so many things to worry about.
