Christabell sat in the middle seat with her baby on her lap, while beside her sat her mother, Layla Stone. Zoey sat in the front seat next to the driver who would take them to the hospital where Christabell made an appointment with a specialist there, according to doctor Peter's recommendation.

Christabell's feelings are uncertain, she is restless and keeps imagining the various bad possibilities she will hear from the doctor they will see. Christabell was sure that her mother wasn't all right. Something was going on inside her mother's body that made her look so strange. Even as Christabell stole glances at her, Layla sat still with a blank stare while her hands continued to squeeze each other as if she was in a state of restlessness.

Chrisatbell grabbed Layla's hand and squeezed it gently, "Mom, are you okay?" She asked softly, but Layla didn't look back at her, nor did she answer. She just nodded slightly as she looked away.
