Christabell knocked on Eleonora's door, intending to offer her breakfast. She knocked three times, and no answer. She prepared to leave the room the door finally opened, the old woman standing in the doorway in her pajamas.

"Good morning." Eleonora greeted awkwardly.

Christabell had never had a direct conversation with the woman standing in front of her. The woman looked quite awkward and cold as Christabell tried to warm up to her.

"Good morning," replied Christabell, acting as if there was no tension between her and her mother-in-law. Even though Christabell knew that Brandon might have told her mother about her. " Um… do you want breakfast in your room or do you want to join us for breakfast in the dining room?" asked Christabell, she was really trying to be friendly to his mother-in-law.
