Chapter 19: Adventure Awaits Pt. 2

Chapter 19: Adventure Awaits Pt. 2

"Are you sure about using them? They could easily teleport you to a world where enemies could be way out of your league."

"Well I need to get stronger anyway, and I think I'm really not ready to be using the story key just yet."

"Oza, my boy. Have you not yet moved on from Gabriella and Ori?"

"You could say that.. but come on, let's open up the hellish box and see what we get."

"New adventure awaits, then. Be ready for what may come, Oza."

"Trust me on this, Ms. Network."

Oza opened up his miscellaneous tab and took out the hellish box. Ali and Harley watched as they got their guard for whatever may happen. Oza composed his breathing as he opened the box. It enveloped the surroundings in thick darkness that nothing, not even light was can be seen. Once the darkness seemed to fade, Oza noticed another key in his hand. Oza inspected the said key and was shocked to see its description.

~~~
Demon King's Circles of Hell Key!
- Comprised of the nine most sins a man can commit. Wander upon the levels and witness the brutality the world embodies. The Demon King shall examine the quest himself, as humans shows tendency of naivete amidst temptation. This quest reveals the true human nature, present an enticing choice and watch as they expose their blind faith.
One sin can condemn you to hell for eternity, so why not do a thousand or even a million, and come down here a legend?
~~~

"So, the Demon King awaits most likely at the bottom."

"Oza, I personally think that this is not the right time to use that key in particular."

"Yes master. I am sensing a very ominous aura coming off it."

Oza looked at the key as he examined it. The key itself was rusted and looked really unhallowed.

Oza glanced at Ali and Harley as he let out a deep sighed and puts the key away.

"Fine. Since both of you doesn't like the idea of this, then I'll save it for when I'm stronger or for when I find a way to get allies to where I'm going." Ali and Harley smiled and nodded immediately after.

"Master, let's just find a different way to level up." Harley assumed as he saw Oza's face showed a hint of discouragement.

"Well, I can't really do anything else if I can't level up without fighting monsters."

"Wait. Well, in the previous quest, you managed to hook at least some secret quest. Like the one with Gab and Ori, and also with Harley." Ali smiled to show courtesy.

"Your point?"

"Do you still have the quest you did at the beginning? Getting even stronger, was it?"

"Yeah. What about it?"

"Let us suppose there was a secret part on that quest? Hypothetically speaking, what if you did twice the amount of quest, would that then trigger a secret quest or reward?"

"Well, I tried that once before but nothing really happened."

"Dang, if that didn't work then I'm really low on ideas."

"How about opening the divine box?"

"It's alright but what if it's another one of those stronger dungeons then it'll just be the same with the Demon King key."

"That being so, is there a way to back out of a quest?"

"Me and Ali haven't tried and I wouldn't say that would work. We literally got transported to another world so there's that."

"Erm.. why do you need to get stronger anyway master?"

"Do I really have to answer that Harley? It's to stay safe, if we happen to fall into a trap, then we can easily fight back if need be."

"Then our only option is to open the divine box and hope that we don't get anything that's too hard to manage"

"Fine, but if we happen to tackle in battle, then I can't guarantee I'll survive hahaha."

Oza opened his miscellaneous tab again and took out the divine box. The divine box was white in color in contrast to the hellish one which was black. Oza sighed once more as he opened the second box and this time a blinding gleam impaired their vision for a couple seconds as it soon faded. In Oza's hand was two keys and book.

"These items are pretty interesting."

"Yes, especially the grimoire. But you have to reach level 50 before using it. You do have the event key now. Meaning, you got what you needed."

"So, master do we leave right away?"

"No, we don't. We have to get some rest first. After that, maybe tomorrow we can leave. We don't have to rush now that I have a way to level up at least. This puts me a bit at ease, knowing that can grow stronger. Worst case scenario is that I'll have to wait 'til the day of the trip if I haven't gotten this event key."

"Well, it seems that you got a lucky break Oza. But still, we need to be careful when fighting."

"Yes, yes.. Now, let's get dinner started so we can prepare to leave tomorrow."

The trio or more like Oza prepared dinner and soon after he finished, he sat down at the table and started eating. Meanwhile, Harley jump up to the chair beside him.

"What's the matter, Harley?"

"Nothing. Is it alright for me to be accompanying you? I still feel unworthy." Oza just smiled and patted the cub's head

"None sense my, dear companion. You are basically part of my party now even though you're just a summon. I promise, when I get stronger, we will get more people in this party so it doesn't feel so lonely all the time." Harley smiled as he nodded at Oza who continued to eat his meal.

"Yes, Master, and do excuse my sudden question."

"No problem, Harley. Now, get some rest. The quest we are gonna take will test the waters on how we can fight together."

"Very well, Master. You have a good rest too."

"Yes, I will."

Oza smiled as he watched Harley go to his bed and settled down. Oza got everything else cleaned up and soon headed to bed as well. He was staring at the ceiling as thoughts filled his mind.

"I wonder how strong the monsters will be this time around."
