Goddess

"Camera flashes"

She whispered back to Reese.

Roy stood up and walked around to check any irregularities. When he came back, he signaled that everything was okay.

Aila managed to finish the song, looking at her awestruck classmates she smiled. "I'm done."

"My God Aila, please don't smile like that… my heart is melting, you're making it hard for me to move on."

Ken was smiling, but his tone was serious.

"Get over yourself; it will be easy, believe me."

Aila turned out to be fiercer now, after everything that Ken has done, she's not the gullible girl that he can manipulate with his sweet words.

Vince was also there, she accidentally met his gaze; remembering the incident earlier, where she felt that she led him on again... She was the first one to look away without saying anything.

She tucked her messy hair behind her ears that was further messed by the strong sea breeze.

The sun relaxed a bit, making it perfect to plunge into the sea; just as she was staring at the sea Rachelle and her friends passed by.

"Hi, Ken! Do you want to swim with us?"

"Sure thing."

He was sure easy to please, seeing Rachelle and Tracy in swimsuits; he was like a little puppy that followed the two girls. Rachelle's group was despised by most students because they in essence are the school bullies.

Just like that, Aila's desire to plunge into the inviting sea was gone.

"Let's play volleyball." Lyn invited her classmates.

Reese and Aila stood up and played with them, at first they were enjoying the friendly match with their classmates, but Rachelle and her group dared to ruin the fun by joining the game.

Rachelle a total bi*ch that she is turning the friendly game into a competitive one as she spiked so hard aiming it at Aila's face. Good thing Aila has fast reflexes that she avoided the nose crunching spike.

"Are you okay?" Roy was very concerned when he approached Aila.

"What a princess! Are you going to cry after ALMOST being hit?"

Rachelle was mocking Aila putting emphasis on how everyone was concerned with her when she was not even hit. She further mocked Aila thinking that she is no match for her athleticism.

"I'm fine, don't worry"

Aila smiled as she assured her friends that she was not hurt at all. Aila fixed her hair up; this simple scene again somehow made headlines along the shores, other students from different classes came and gathered to watch, curious who would win between the school bully versus the school beauty.

Aila was enjoying a friendly game earlier, and she felt that it was such a shame that now it turned into a competitive one, a venue for Rachelle to mock and bully others, but she won't let that happen.

Aila was determined to turn this situation around and let Rachelle feel the shame.

People from her security team are aware of her physical capabilities since they've already seen her during their self-defense training. They are smiling secretly knowing Rachelle will be eating dust if she provokes the princess even more.

Rachelle was laughing at Aila as she plans to make a facial spike again and she wants to make sure Aila won't be able to avoid it this time.

With the old Aila, you won't get any expression on her because she is usually apathetic, but Aila today is a bit different, she often smiles at her friends. Her smile can be considered a double-edged sword, she smiles sweetly but sometimes when she gazes, her smile feels somewhat dangerous.

Like the way she smiles at Rachelle now, it definitely sent a message to Rachelle that she can't be easily bullied.

"Are you a tough girl now?"

She was still provoking Aila, who never talked back to her not even once.

Just as Aila has expected, Rachelle was again trying to hurt her, so it basically made it easier for her to avoid it. However, this time it was Reese, who caught the ball and made it a set for Aila to jump for a spike and she jumped really high to get the ball up in the air, her perfect form was beyond amazing for an amateur player. You can hear the loud sound of her hands smashing the ball with so much strength, but nevertheless, she made sure that she will not hit Rachelle on the face rather just graze it.

Everyone gasps as the ball barely touched Rachelle's face; with the force of Aila's spike, she would easily fall unconscious if she was hit.

"It's just a graze, is that your best shot?"

Rachelle sneered implying that, Aila missed her shot, but her heart was pounding so hard it can walk away from her chest, she was made aware of Aila's strength.

Meanwhile, Aila was so chill, the audience was again in admiration of her sweet smile, her athleticism, and humility.

"I made sure I won't hurt you; I just wanted to make your heart jolt a bit, I quit, you won, are you happy now?"

She revealed a cheeky smile at Rachelle, making it appear that she wasn't really interested in winning rather she really just wanted to have fun.

Aila's mischievous glare at Rachelle was still there, as she then removed her knee-length cover-up, revealing that she was wearing a white two-piece swimsuit underneath it.

Her figure is unbelievable, perfect voluptuous body and slender legs, amidst her outfit she is still classy.

She has this Goddess aura to her, somewhat ethereal; someone that you will be able to praise and appreciate from afar, but will never have the chance to hold and own.

She went straight to the water, her friends followed her, and students from other classes also followed her they all enjoyed playing in the water, leaving behind Rachelle by the shore.

Ken, who was on Rachelle's side earlier, was walking like a zombie following Aila's trail.

"Dang! She's smoking hot" Ken's friends were tapping his back, but he was still speechless.

"You're such a schmuck letting go of this Goddess bro, you literally had the best chance and you blew it off hahaha" another one of his friends mocking him.

Once again, Aila saw the flashes of light, she looked around and saw a figure at the lifeguard post, but when she looked again the figure was gone.

"I think I saw someone at the lifeguard post."

Aila confided to Reese, She tried looking too, but can't seem to see anyone, not even a figure or a shadow.

Aila felt unsafe, she is used to it when people stare at her openly, but when someone stalks her like this, she feels like it is someone with bad intentions.

Reese asked her to come out of the water and go to their room first to rest and for the security team to sweep the area. Aila obliged, she walked out of the water, picked up her cover-up, and wore it.

While walking towards the hotel she accidentally bumped into a guy who immediately apologized to her.

She felt like this guy is so familiar to her, but she can't quite figure out where she saw him. He seemed harmless, though Aila felt sadness in his aura.

"Do you know that guy?" Aila asked Reese out of curiosity.
