Are You a Princess?

"Ken?" Aila was surprised to see the two there considering that she thought this was a photoshoot for the tournament.

"I am glad to see you, Aila, you still look gorgeous." Ken was still the same, did not skip his sweet talk routine with her.

"Hahaha, you haven't changed Ken you're still quite the sweet talker."

The production team called in the models and gave them a wardrobe for the shoot; we will group the shots into different clothing sets the first one is in school uniform, the second is in sportswear, the third is in casual wear and the last one is formal clothes.

Aila raised her hand to inquire about her school uniform because they don't wear one in their school. She was then assured that they will actually wear a generic uniform; its purpose is to just emphasize that they are all students.

When they were in the dressing room, changing for their school uniform, Glenda went up to her and whispered. "Where did you get your breast augmentation done?"

Aila was getting frustrated that her breasts have been a focal point of discussion for the past days. "I did not get them done."

Glenda laughed hysterically catching the attention of the other students there.

"I don't remember them that big back in high school."

"Well, haven't you heard of puberty? It goes well with maturity, I think you missed both" Aila's sharp rebuttal was a hit with other female students there as they laughed at Glenda. She was so embarrassed that her attempt to ridicule Aila slapped her back in the face just like that.

The set-in school uniform was quite easy the next shoot was more challenging. However, her experience in modeling was evident as the photographer kept on praising her because she was showing the perfect emotion for every set. He particularly reprimanded Glenda because her poses are not apt for her wardrobe.

For the last set, they partnered up; Bryan looked dashing in his black suit and red tie; Aila's gown complimented his suit perfectly. She wore a black satin dress and paired it with glittery red pumps.

The two were positioned at the center, Glenda was furious that she was placed at the end as if she was part of the background. The production crew then preceded to video record them for an interview as a group. Aila was not concerned about the questions since she knows Dream Star had already contacted the production crew. They were seated in two rows, the women in front are seated in lower chairs while the men are seated on bar stools.

"Are you guys ready for the interview? Please don't get nervous this is just a friendly chit chat." The interviewer was making the students feel at ease. She was handed in the cue cards for the questions; she read it first and looked back at the students.

"Who's Aila?" She asked as her brows drew together. Aila raised her hand politely answered.

"Okay, you see, your name here has instructions that you are forbidden to be asked regarding quite a lot of questions." The interviewer was unimpressed by the pre-Madona-esque vibe of Aila at her young age.

Aila bowed and apologized, she really did not know how to explain her part, but she wanted the interview to finish without much drama. The questions at first were easy, it was more about introducing themselves and brief descriptions about their schools and their majors. Those were the only questions allowed to be asked to Aila, but she didn't ask those questions to Aila.

Glenda sneered at Aila for always being skipped for her answers.

"Okay, next question is, what is your aspiration in life, Aila you are the first to answer." The interviewer made it clear that she will not be following the protocols.

"My dream is to inspire and serve the nation." It was the most honest answer Aila could give, it was vague but it was from her heart.

"Tss.. What a very princessy answer. Come on I need real answers, you're not a princess you don't need to answer like that!"

Aila's face went pale by the sudden confrontation the interviewer did. At that moment, Bryan stood up and assisted Aila to leave the room. The interviewer felt a flicker of irritation for her perceived arrogance of Aila. A few seconds later the executives of Dream Star arrived at the studio; two men covered and assisted Aila to another room so she can change her clothes.

The CEO of Dream Star himself was there at the studio and he does not look pleased with the interviewer. The interviewer was not intimidated; she was still full of pride given her situation.

"So the diva is your talent? Why are you willing to go through much trouble for such a starlet?" The interviewer snarled.

"Let's talk in private if you know what's best for you." The CEO led the interviewer to Aila's room. To her astonishment, the production manager was already there in the room with Aila and they all look scared with their head down.

"We gave you the cue cards, all you had to do was follow it, why did you have to do this, and you're such a disgusting witch!" The production manager's voice was cracking as if he was going to cry at any moment.

"What is your name?" The CEO of Dream Star asked the interviewer.

"Hailey Gold" She was still arrogant when she answered the CEO.

"Why did you not follow the cue cards?" She was being interrogated and she hates it most especially that the production manager was cowered in a corner.

"Because I hate divas" She was being straightforward, but the truth is, she is the one who's acting like a diva.

"I apologize if you think I was bigheaded because of all these." Aila was sincerely apologetic towards Hailey.

"No, please don't apologize to us, forgive us, please." The production manager and his assistant knelt to the ground asking for Aila's forgiveness.

"Bit*h kneel down beg with us!" They were forcing Hailey to apologize, but she did not budge.

Aila quickly helps them up, "Oh no, please don't kneel down, It is okay, I am not mad or anything, I am actually very sorry for ruining your shoot."

"tss.. What's with this kid acting all high and mighty like a princess?" Hailey was enraged as she spit on the floor because of her disgust.

The production manager mouthed the words to her "She is a princess".

"What?" The colors of her face drained out of her completely she almost fainted.

"Again, I am sorry, I did not mean to appear rude." Aila bowed down to them, she looked at the CEO and smiled.

"Princess Aila, please leave this matter to us, we assure you we will resolve this peacefully."

Bryan assisted Aila to the car and drove her back to her mansion. Bryan noticed a motorbike following their car, he went different routes to lose it.
