Aila was surprised by Beth's comment, but she just shrugged it off since technically she did not directly imply anything. Beth feels irritated that it seems like she is talking to a wall with the indifferent attitude of Aila towards her.

"It seems that you do this often with Marcus since you don't even look embarrassed by it."

 She slammed her cutleries on the table to gain the attention of the other students. Aila just smiled at her and continued with her food. Beth's short fuse was ignited that she stood up and threw Aila's dish on the ground.

Aila let out a deep sigh and drew both her hands in the air as a sign that she does not want to argue with Beth. She then faced Tony.

"This little girl won't let me eat in peace; can we proceed now to our activity?"

 "Sure"

Tony stood up and went with Aila. Before Aila left, she spoke to Beth with conviction in her voice.
