Aila and Marcus went inside the ballroom; this was the first time for them to attend a formal occasion as a couple. This formal ball was a charity event organized by the graduating batch; led by Lucy. She suggested turning this annual school ball into a charity event because she was inspired by Aila's acts of charity.

The participants in the ball are people from different sectors of society that are willing to take part in an auction for a cause.

Lucy invited Marcus and Aila to bid for items that they have collected from different sponsors. The couple is more than happy to take part in such programs. The ball started with some dancing and some drinks and food on the side.
