The Old Man

"I will help you, Princess Aila. Just tell me what I need to do."

The old man was willing to give it his all to help Aila. Perhaps it is his way to lessen his guilt. The guilt that he did not have until today. He thought he served justice for his daughter, in reality he just took a life of a wonderful person he never knew.

"You will admit to the Royal court what you did, and how Lia was involved from the start."

Aila said it directly to Beth's father, it was not much for him to do; it was just merely saying the truth. It made Beth's father confused on how he can help the Princess.

"Is there anything special that I need to do? I can't forgive myself for what I did. Can I do anything else?"

He muttered those words as if he was begging to be punished. Aila accepted his plea and nodded.

"There is another thing that you would be able to help us with. After your confession, I am sure that someone will approach you."
