Jisung's words had stuck in Luka's head for a long time after they parted and went to their own rooms.

Xavier had taken one look at his soulmate and he knew that Luka didn't want to talk about it right now and so he didn't say anything, waiting for Luka to open up when he sees fit.

The night is young whenever you're awake, Xavier remembered something that Sathanas had said to him when he was still a child. Only when you are tired then it will look old. That can be nine pm or two am. What matters is that no matter what, it will always get tired and old too.

Xavier didn't know why he had suddenly thought of that but somehow it matched their situation very well.

Neither Xavier nor Luka were energetic and both of them seemed to be quite tired from everything that had or hadn't happened and yet, Xavier felt like the night was still young.
