Chapter 11: Stolen

Leah's POV

This morning is a great morning! There's no Aries tailing me everywhere I go. I will thank my Dad later for making those jerks suspended, my life is now at peace.

"Baby L!" I heard the familiar high pitch voice. She's running again and jumped on me.

"Careful babe, you may trip again." Her girlfriend reminded her.

"I don't care, I missed my baby." She let go of me and clung her arms on mine.

"Let's go to our room now." She pulled me with her and Fenella smiled while shaking her head.

"Where is Farah, by the way?" When we settled ourselves in our seats I asked them. They looked at each other before shrugging their shoulders.

"Maybe, she's stalking your brother like the creepy girl in there." Fenella whispered to us. Bunny is in the middle, I am at her left and her girlfriend is on her right.

We averted our eyes to where her hands are pointing but it was hidden by her bag so no one can see rather than the three of us.

"Aish! That creepy sister of my hottie Flynn." I rolled my eyes and faced Audrey. She's looking at me while beaming.

"I guess, you're more creepy than her."

My Flynn Smith has a younger sister named Frankie and that girl is our block mate also, she likes to stare at me, smile at me when I unintentionally looked at her and sometimes she will bumped on me just to have a short nonsense conversation. She's a lesbian, and head over heels to me. That's what my friends told me.

"Baby L, why don't you confess your love to Prof Smith?" The bunny asked, she's now playing with her girlfriend's fingers. I rolled my eyes, mentally, they're starting to flirt with each other again.

"What are you saying Bunny? Are you out of your mind? He will definitely reject me because he's our professor."

"If you wouldn't do that, be prepared because there's a girl who will confess to him after class." I turned my head to Fenella with wide eyes.

"What?! Where that came from?"

"Girls are gossiping about it since yesterday."

"Who would have courage to do that?" I raised my right brow that made her smirk.

"Charmaine Daughtry. Your rival in your hottie crush."

"What the--it can't be!" I stood up making some of our classmates confusingly looked at me.

Charmaine, the snake number two. She likes my Flynn, she even gave him gifts like I always do when it's his birthday, valentines day, christmas and teachers day. She even got a lunch with him once that I didn't have that courage to ask him.

"They talked about them being in a private relationship. I don't know where they get that but they said there's a strong proof but didn't want to tell me what are those." Fen seriously looked at me while Audrey stopped playing with her hand.

"Tell you?! You gossip with them about the girl and Prof Flynn's private life?" She asked disbelieving her girlfriend's sudden confession.

"Stop it now. I don't want to hear any of it." I dismissed the topic, it's slowly ruining my good morning and I hate it. Our prof arrived and started to blab something I am not interested in until all our morning class ended.

"I need to do something, go first. I'll find you later." I pushed them away and went on the other direction. It's our lunch time so I guess he's all free. I rushed to the faculty office and waited for my prey outside.

Who would it be? Of course, my Flynn Smith and I will not let Charmaine 'the snake' to do it first. I will make sure to make him say what I want to hear. The moment the faculty door opened, a hottie came out.

"Hi Professor Smith."

"Oh, Leah? What are you doing here? It's your lunch time already." He smiled at me and it melted my knees.

"Uhm, can I talk to you for a minute?"

"Sure. I have all of my time for my students concern." He gestured me to follow him inside the faculty so I tailed him.

"You're alone here?" I asked. There's no other professor inside. But there's a lot of cubicle.

"Ah yeah, they always took a break half an hour earlier than me."

"Flynn." I called him that surprised him. No one dares to call him that. Even the professors.

"Leah, it's not appropriate to address me like that. We are inside the school premises so you should call me professor." It's firm and I like it. He's too hot.

"I'm sorry, but I can't. I like you so much. I always dream of you being my boyfriend. I want you to be mine Flynn. You're so nice and hot, and I can't help myself from liking you. Please give me a chance?" I gave him a pitying look I can ever make. He was more shocked after hearing my confession.

"Leah, I can't believe on what I heard from you. It was really unexpected. You know, you are a nice girl also, a competitive student, a talented and gorgeous lady and I'm thankful that you admired me but, I can't because, first of all I'm your professor and secondly, not just because you're my student but I have someone in my heart now. I can't reciprocate your feelings for me. I'm sorry Leah. I hope you understand."

It played over and over in my head and I was now crying on Audrey's arms after that heart breaking moment I got inside the faculty office.

"Bunny, it hurts. He rejected me."

"Hush now baby L. I'm not used to this." She rubbed my back trying to calm me down.

"Woa! What's happening? The great Leah Campbell is crying? Who made you cry? Tell me, I'll punch him or her." I lift my head and look at Fen who's now doing a shadow boxing while jumping.

"Stop it babe. You look like a mad kangaroo." Her girlfriend wiped my tears using her thumbs as she mocked the stunts she pulled off.

"He rejected me Fen! What should I do now?!" I whined. Crying again on Audrey's shoulder.

"Really?! Let's just wish he has the biggest mistake in his life because he's now cornered by Charmaine." I immediately lifted my head again and stood up facing the confused lesbian.

"What did you say?! Where are they?" I asked angrily that made her muted but manage to point her finger to the hallway. I ran as much as I could just to witness Charmaine being dumped by my Flynn. He was in love with someone so he will definitely reject her too. It was fun so I wanna watch the snake's reaction. I will drag her down with me.

I arrived at the great timing. They are now standing across each other infront of the men's rest room. I guess she waited for him to get out. Some students are circling around them while watching how Flynn will turn her down.

"Hey Flynn! I keep this secret for how many months now, but right this very moment. I can't just let it pass. Some students here are asking you out, some of your colleagues are flirting with you, but I can't because I'm a student! It's unfair, we love each other and I want to announce it publicly." The audacity of this woman! She has a lot of air in her head.

"What are you saying Charmaine?" Flynn asked, totally shocked by this snake's impossible dream.

"I want them to know where you belong. I don't want to hide all of this Flynn. Let them know who I am to you." My rival looked at Flynn with worries.

"Charmaine, please stop this." He begged. If I can just grab her hair and drag her outside I'll do it now because I'm too irritated by this unpleasant sight infront of me.

"I already got the Director's blessing, love. Let's not pretend and make them see that you are mine and mine alone." Aish! I wanna puke right now. The students coos and the others are shouting 'stop dreaming girl!'

Someone needs to wake her up, and realize what--what the heck is happening?! Why is my Flynn holding her hand?!

"All of you, I don't want to hear any of bad comments about her." He glared at the crowd.

"But Prof Flynn, she's telling lies!" The bitch of the Tourism Department angrily said.

"She's not." Everyone gasped including me when he defended her. Oh my gosh! This isn't a good feeling.

"She is telling the truth. She's my girlfriend. We're together since last year, so stop accusing her. I love her and I'm done with the rules!" He turned his back on us and pulled the snake with him. But before they walked away, that bitch rolled her eyes on us.

I almost ran to her and slap her ugly face but Audrey and Farah held me in place.

"Release me! I'm gonna teach that ugly bitch her lesson! I'll rip her head, my blood is boiling because of her. I'm gonna let her pay for what she did to my sister yesterday!" I tried my best to free myself but Fenella put me in her shoulder and carry me like a sack of rice.

Farah told me that she saw that snake spilled her glass of juice on Leon, my friend wanted to help her but she's with someone. It made me think who would it be because Leon is a kind of person that eats alone.

"Put me down!" I hit her back but she didn't budge.

"Stop hitting me! It hurts." She hissed and slapped my butt.

"Baby L, calm down. You can't do that infront of Prof Smith." The bunny held my shoulders for support while Farah is just walking behind us.

Fenella brought me down when we're outside our building and we silently sat on the grass. No one dared to talk knowing I'm at the verge of spitting fire out of my mouth. This is the worst day I've ever had on college, I never expected that the love of my life was stolen by some snake. It never crossed my mind!

"Uhm, Leah? Can we talk?" The bubble of thoughts in my head popped when someone called my name. I saw a girl standing not too far and not too near on us. She's holding a bouquet of flowers on her left hand. I rolled my eyes and stare somewhere.

"If you're not ready to die, leave her alone. You don't have any idea how angry this girl is." Farah dismissed her. But Frankie is Frankie, very stubborn like Aries.

"I came here to finally confess to her."

"Oh girl! You are in a very wrong timing." The other lesbian palmed her forehead.

"Should I come back tomorrow?"

"No! Even if you do that for the rest of your life, my decision will never change. I will never feel the same way as you do, Frankie. I'm not a lesbian or even bisexual for goodness sake!"

"But people change Leah. Maybe I can make you fall for me." She stepped forward but I gestured her to stop.

"Don't test my limit Frankie Smith. Your brother already done his part." I stood up and brushed away the dirt on my skirt.

"I'm going somewhere. I want peace of mind. See you tomorrow girls." I said to them and walked away. I heard them calling my name and asking where but I have no energy to respond.

I went on my favorite place which is the convenience store.

I sat on a vacant table and stare at the door. I don't care if someone looked at me like I'm a crazy person, I really don't care. This is the only place that can calm me down, I've got used to the feeling that whenever I feel down or not in the mood I will go here to buy my favorite strawberry sandwich and eat like there's no other people around. Then my mood will definitely change, but right now I just wanna sit here and recall everything but before I could think of any, someone put two sandwiches and coke in can in the table before sitting down infront of me.

"What's the matter? You seems very not in the mood."

"Is that the reason why you brought my favorite?" She nodded and smile.

"Eat that, I know it can bring back the Leah we know."

"Thanks Yvette, but I'm not in the mood to eat." I crossed my legs and leaned my back on the backrest.

"There's nothing more delicious than this." She unwrapped the plastic and shove it infront of my face. My nose can't escape on the sweet aroma, it teased the hell out of me!

I can't take it anymore! I grabbed the sandwich and start to devour my favorite. She smirked and open a can of coke.

"So tell me, what happened?" She asked before sipping on the can.

I started to tell her first my great morning and before I could jumped on Flynn and the snake's sudden confession, someone barged inside the store. She was greeted by Chichi and went on the back door.

It was beautiful.

"Then after that?" I looked back at Yvette and continued my story. Minutes after, Jade went out of the back door wearing her uniform and stepped in the cashier counter. I stared at her while I'm telling Yvette what happened on the school's hallway.

"I thought you don't like the snake? Why are you telling that she's simple but really beautiful. She's perfect but she needs makeover."

My eyes darted at the person infront of me, she seems confused.

"What? Did I said that?" I asked disbelieving what I heard. She nodded.

"Are we still talking about the Charmaine girl or something is distracting your mind?" She smirked and turn her head to the cashier.

"Or someone." She added.

My eyes went wide as I realized what she's thinking. I immediately shook my head.

"What are you talking about Yvette? I'm not a lesbian." She turned back at me and smiled.

"I didn't say that. I mean, you like her to be your friend."

Friend? Jade to be my friend? It's good to hear. So I think yes.

"I think."

"Then I have a solution."

"It's not even a problem, Yvette." She playfully rolled her eyes.

"But what is it?" I added.

"Work here."

"What?! Leah Campbell will get a job? You for real?! No way!"
