The Seal

Countless hours had passed by. Tired, fatigued, bruised.. all the eleven warriors, tried to bring down the enemy in front. But the power of the monstrosity was inhumane. All they managed to do was to place a few cuts, some deep, some shallow. Its potential to fight, the precision of its attacks, the speed it possessed, was off the charts.

One of the warriors jumped high up in the air, spreading his multicolored cloak in all directions. With a glitch he disappeared, appearing right on top of the Gimiulique with 5 clown balls each hanging by a thread to the border of his cloak. Wallgof aimed a red ball at the center of the creatures head. The Gimiulique lashed out one of its tenticals, changing the projection of the ball with shear wind. But before it could be blown away, it exploded with a powerful bang, turning into tiny specs of dust, hindering the Gimiulique's vision, making it difficult for it to see. Just then, all four remaining balls came speeding towards the Gimiulique from each side, turning into a thin long thread attaching themselves to the it. Without a second to spare, Wallgof tightened his grip, making the threads tighter around the Gimiulique, restricting his movements.

"Now Alche!!!"

Alche shifted his staff towards the Gimiulique in one swift movement, Arora lights emitting from the tip which made all the theads glow. Alche the pushed his staff into the ground, intensifying the lights, making all the threads tiny blades which pierced right into the Gimiulique.

The Gimiulique roared in pain, a roar that reached even the far end of the Forrest, or what was left of it in the distant view. The Gimiulique shrinked in size before the blades could go any deeper, freeing itself. It the lashed one on its tentacles in a whip like motion towards Wallgof.

Wallgof summoned another ball right in time to cushion the impact. The tentacles cut right through his left shoulder, sending him flying in the opposite direction. With another glitch, Wallgof came to a halt, descending back to the ground.

"Missed him by an inch," Wallgof mumbled after another failed counter attack. His left shoulder bleeding heavily due to the fang like tentacle hitting it.

A small twinkling ball that was floating in the air, landed upon Wallgof shoulder. It turned to liquid as it seeped down his arm, healing any wound in its path. As it left the tips of his fingers, it turned into thousands of tiny spikes, which launched like bullets towards the Gimiulique, bursting right when it came in contact with its greasy skin.

"I owe you one Ravib," he said to himself, as he looked at her standing still. Dark circles under her eyes indicated pure signs of utter exhaustion. Her bright red hair turned into a mess with all the dirt and grease.

He looked over to all the rest of the group members and saw the same expression engraved on their faces. They were at their limit. The most they could do was delay this beast for two days. Now, not one had the strength to overpower the Gimiulique.

As he sat there with one knee touching the ground, supported by both of his hands, darkness fell upon the battle site.

The Gimiulique started shrinking, becoming smaller and smaller. A sharp ringing started to echo all across the area which intensified by the minute. Sharper and shrill it grew, causing thier ears to almost bleed. The situation was helpless. Hope was now a word erased from all minds.

"her ei'set you rsea l'beg one!!"

Suddenly, a glassy yellow light whipped back and forth towards Gimiulique.

"no ta'scr atch'b einf lict ed!!" Words echoed loudly as the yellow whip went right through the beast like it was nothing, anchoring themselves at the other end.

The Gimiulique enraged, roaring as it slashed its tentacles in all directions though not being able move from its position.

"Volmae..." Loomati looked around desperately, trying to find a familiar face. But it was dark, too dark to see.

"uwi ll'nev ase de'li ght'o dy..." the voice continued its chant.

Slowly but surely, the darkness lifted. Barely in view, a small glassy yellow ball could be seen at a distance, just beneath the Gimuillique. Enclosed within was the caster of the yellow whips.

Volmae...

The tentacles kept slashing, focused on the ball like shield around Volmae, trying to push their way across.

"to'he lube lng'nd to'he lusha lgo!!!"

The greasy tentacles became shaper and more rapid as the demon outraged. They became more aimless and bizarre.

Suddenly the clashing stopped. The air became still. It seemed like the beast was sealed for good, until, all the tentacles slowly started moving upwards.

The tips all concentrated at one point of impact.

All of a sudden, with enormous speed, all the tentacles hit the yellow ball simultaneously. the shield cracked and shattered into a million pieces.

"VOLMAE...!!!" Loomati yelled. He shape changed into a long snake, and slithered towards Volmae as fast as he could.

"Ravib! The tail!" shouted.

"I know already." said Ravib, as she slipped just behind the tail, placing both of her hands on the end. Black glowing lines started traveling up Loomati's snake-like body.

The tentacles of the Gimiulique rose up again for round two. this time they rose higher and sharper than before.

Just before impact of the million tentacles hanging in the air, Loomati slipped over Volmae's body, changing the upper part of his snake body to a rhinoceros skin as it covered Volmae entirely.

The collision of the tentacles with Loomati's hardened skin, caused a burst of light that covered the entire ground. Everything stopped. The clashing. The wind. Everything.

Days turned to months. Several assumptions about the Gimiulique's destruction were made. But, with no proof of its existence, its mere existence was now in doubt.

The names of the legendary warriors were remembered for a long time, but that too became a part of a bedtime story, a long lost fairytale.
