A life changing moment...

Sidhanth looked at Dr. Rosholi with his scrutinizing eyes. From the time he entered her cabin, she looking at him as if she was looking through his soul, which made him a little bit uncomfortable, but he didn't show it outside. Then, Rosholi took him to the adjacent examination room, where he briefed her about his situation and why he needs to act like a mentally challenged person.

"If not now, then I would never be able to find the person who tried to kill me, Dr. I hope you will help in this."

After hearing his side, Rosholi told him that she can't lie entirely about his condition but will try to help him so that it won't be unethical from her side. After coming out of the examination room, Rosholi has been looking through his files for the past 10 minutes. While his mother is praying with her eyes closed. Rosholi's change in stature got the attention of his parents.

"Mr. & Mrs. Maheshwari, your son's old reports had a few glitches. That's why I had to examine him. Well, I can say with confidence that your son can be cured. He has the side effects an autistic person has. In simple words, your son knows what is happening around him, he can interact with you guys, but he will only respond to you all only if he wants to. So, guys need to be really patient while handling him," Rosholi said, keeping her interlinked hands on the table. She saw how Mrs. Maheshwari sighed in relief, and her lips broke out into a beautiful smile. She could see how much this woman went through because of her separation from her beloved son. When her eyes moved to Mr. Maheshwari, his eyes glisten while his face is devoid of any emotion.

Looks like both son and father mastered the art of masking their emotions.

"Dr, is there any kind of therapy or treatment available that we had to do?" Ram asked Rosholi while straightening his blazer.

"Well, more than treatment, your son needs care and affection from his family. You should make him feel safe and secured. The more you guys try to treat him as a normal person, the more he will get mingled with everyone. I am giving some sleeping pills and just bring him once a month for a regular check-up. This is how we have to proceed in Sidhanth's case." Rosholi said while writing the prescription and gave it to Ram. The trio left her cabin, and after a few minutes, she sent a private email to someone containing all the details of Sidhanth.

Sitara finished her Kathak rounds, which left her breathless. Her wounded foot is pricking like hell, but today she didn't want to stop dancing. Dancing is like a vacuum in her life, which sucks out all the negativity and troubles from her, but today even that dance couldn't soothe her, and the reason is Sidhanth. Her mind is not at peace from the time she met Sidhanth. The way he gazed at her when she was aiding him, he made her feel self-conscious. The night became endless, and she felt unsafe even in her own room. As if someone is watching her. Moving towards her bag placed on the floor, she saw her cell phone flashing Revathi's name. Taking a deep breath, Sitara clicked on the green button,

"Hello, Revathi."

"Sitara, can you please come to the colony? I don't know what happened, but Dida and Dadi are arguing with each other, and Aunty is crying," Sitara immediately took off to the colony as soon as she heard the background of Dida and Dadi literally screaming at each other. It took her 30 minutes to reach the colony, and she ran inside without even caring about her scooty. The sight which welcomed Sitara made her freeze, near the doorstep itself.

"Amma, enough is enough. Till when are you going to deny the fact that Sona is my love and I will always love her. It was all my fault. I don't know what got into me that time that I stood like a dumb person watching you degrade Sonali and her family every single opportunity you get. I am sorry, Appa, to say this, but I am ashamed to be born in this family. I wish If I had the courage which I had when I confessed to Sonali that I will love her throughout my life, today our daughter Sitara wouldn't have been tagged by you all as illegitimate. Everything has a limit Amma, but today you crossed everything. The problem which I started, I will finish it today," Shekar held Sonali's hand and took her to Durga Maa Statue. He took a pinch of sindoor from the puja plate and smeared it against Sonali's hair partition.

"Shekar… what the hell are you doing?" Dadi's screams fell into deaf ears as Shekar unhooked the holy thread from the statue and made Sonali wear it.

"From today, Sonali is my wife. She is Sonali Shekar Vasthav, and that is my elder daughter Sitara Shekar Vasthav. If anyone dares to raise their finger against them, then there will be no one as bad as me." Shekar announced, glaring at his Appa and Amma, and took Sonali inside her house. Revathi, who saw Sitara standing near the Tulsi plant, took her also inside the house. Dada, Dadi, and Dida couldn't believe what just happened, and soon everyone dispersed to their home.

Sitara entered her house along with Revathi and saw her mother crying while hugging Dida and her so-called father standing near the dining table. She slowly limped towards her mother and made her look at her.

"Maa, I just need only one answer, and it should be true. Do you really love Him?" Sitara asked, wiping Sonali tears, to which Sonali nodded in agreement

"Do you really want to be with him?" Again Sonali nodded in agreement.

"Then don't worry about me, Maa. I know why you are crying. Yes, I said we three are enough for each other, but I couldn't stop thinking from the time Revathi came forward to help you guys get back together. I am a bad daughter, Maa. Even Revathi could see that you both are incomplete without each other, and then there is me who was drowned in her own sorrows," Sitara said, looking at Revathi, who is smiling at her with tear-filled eyes. Sitara stood up and limped towards Shekar, who is looking at her lovingly.

"I know that you love Maa so much. I can forgive you for whatever you have done to Maa, but I cannot forgive you for whatever you have done to me. Maybe I need some time to come to terms with these new dynamics, but I can't guarantee you that I will accept you as my father. I am sorry, but this is all that I could do," Sitara cried, folding her hands while Shekar looked at his daughter with glistened eyes, but somewhere he has a hope that one day Sitara will accept him as her father and he will wait for that day.

Sidhanth, who was watching everything from his private room while munching on his apple, smirked at his first success.

"Well, at least something went according to my plan, and very soon, Ms. Sitara, I am going to make you dance according to my tunes. What have you thought about me?

I am Sidhanth.

Catching me red-handed; is next to impossible. I know you will do something after joining hands with that Dr. Rosholi. That's why I hacked the hospital email and gave you a small price for your over-smartness. The thing which you never wanted to happen; happened right in front of your eyes, and you could do nothing. Just wait and watch Sitara how I am going to destroy for good. And you can do nothing but watch your destruction helplessly." He said, looking at Sitara's tear-stricken pale face on the TV.
