Quit Being Such a Creep

Ugh, this Anders is such a creep. He's been latched to my side like an octopus since I practically requested to visit the park. It warms my heart that his huge body offers some warmth but I also needed my space, plus he was scaring the little kids around with his presence.

"Psst, Anders, you're scaring the little children" I fumed. A few three year olds clung to their panicky mothers now. "Didn't you think it through before deciding to wear a suit here?"

He glanced around in hesitation. "But our home is still far. I only allowed us to drop by because you requested it"

"But could you at least smile or something. Your face is so hard and indifferent" I plopped down on a wooden bench enjoying the peaceful mildew atmosphere. My black hair couldn't quite stay in place due to the gushing wind. I struggled to keep it all down with both palms. "Do you happen to have a hair pin or something"

He frowned. Brows knitting together. "What's a hair pin"

I couldn't resist a facepalm.

"Ancient" I mumbled drawing my sweatshirt together. With Anders beside me, I couldn't help feeling safe and free.

Though I couldn't stand the probing gaze which he's giving me right now.

"What?" I snapped when it became unbearable.

He coloured instantly. What a sight it was. "Nothing.... There's a pink stain at your neck bone"

I turned white as frost, using my fingers to search frantically. "What?! Where" I turned around now to see him chuckling.

I poked his side. "That's not funny. I almost thought you left a hickey on me"

"Well, wouldn't that be nice. My own mark on you, you'd look hotter" He hardened immediately, his lips quivering. I don't know why but my head appeared stuck in place, well not until I detected a small kid, crouched low about two years old trying to tie his shoe laces.

His mother must be close by.

I stood up now cautiously, half expecting Anders to pull me back down. I wouldn't do anything much about it though but I'm glad he didn't do that. He just watched me make my way to the boy. I squatted now, smiled at his smudged reddened face and offered to help him with his laces.

"Momma always ties them into a lovely big bow" He fiddled with his little hands. "Can you do that for me also"

"Sure" I knotted the white ropes together. "What's your name?"

"Hansel" He avoided my searching eyes. Perhaps he felt too shy. "Momma went to get me an ice cream"

I stood up now, ruffling his thinned blonde locks. He couldn't be more than three with his cheeks puffed out and tainted red.

I felt the splitting urge to have a child.

"That sir over there is taking snapshots" the boy points behind me. I turned slightly with flushed cheeks when I beheld Anders with his phone held horizontal directly towards us. The boy giggled now and tugged at my hand. "Can we go get Momma now?"

Ain't he sweet?

I encased his small palms in mine and led him to the Ice-cream stand. A fair amount of people stood in line and I almost cringed when he tapped a man probably my height but a bit taller. I had begun to panic thinking we'd got the wrong person but look, the man turned and swooped the minnow off his feet.

They nuzzled for a moment. "Thanks for bringing him to me. I was starting to worry if he'd looked for the other children's trouble as he always does"

"He disturbs others?" I'd have to quite agree that children could be deceiving.

"Well he's a handful but we do get along quite. Is he your husband?" He gestured to Anders who now stood beside me. Well I couldn't quite agree on that because he's my abductor. Or so I'd thought a few days ago.

"Well... We're not.... together" I stuttered.

Luckily, Anders didn't wince at this.

Phew.

"Oh" the man says, he has the most adorable rather whitened hair that formed a pretty cute match with his fierce hazel eyes. "It's just that you two look cute together"

My face glowed, I was struggling to keep my cheeks pale. "Maybe"

"Well, I'm Dexter and this is my son Hansel. We're actually on a field trip and that's our car over there" He pointed to a blue sedan. "My husband's the one in red"

My mouth flung open at this. The man looked so... hot.

Seriously, how do these guys get picked?

Anders cleared his throat. "Well, we were about leaving anyway. It was nice meeting you" He clutched my wrist, pulling me with him. I gave a small quick wave to them. "It was nice meeting you guys anyway"

A wrap.
