Two Weeks Later

Moon's Pov

It's been two weeks since I came to this school

I, Ian and Emily become very close we're like best friends. I feel really comfortable with them In this really short amount of time I feel like I've known them for years.

But what bothers and keep me confused all week is that Ian and Emily keep talking bad about "The squad " but Damien, Jessica and the rest keep saying the opposite it just so annoying, I know you're saying I suppose to believe Ian and Emily but I don't wanna judge plus Damien, Jessica, Alexander, and Vicky haven't done anything bad to me and they are pretty cool...so I really don't know

Today is Thursday, and I didn't hear my alarm so I'm running late I entered the school, walking fast to my locker to check my schedule. I opened it and wohoo i have chemistry what a shitty start, I took the books, closed my locker and ran to the class, i took a breath and knocked on the door...I didn't wait for permission i opened the door and gave Mr. Edward a cheeky smile while whispering a small sorry

"Mrs.Moon why are you late?" He said taking off his glasses and looking at me

"I'm sorry I woke up late. I promise you promise you that it won't happen again... I'm sorry" I said

"Okay take your seat and next time if it happened again be prepared for consequences like detention room" He said shading me, I ignored him and sit on the chair taking out my stuff trying really hard to concentrate and not to stare on nothing

Finally, it's lunch break. Me, Emily and Ian are walking to the lunch room ready to eat cause we all are starving and luckily we found a table

"So what do you have after the lunch...I've Maths?"Emily asked

"I've art" I answered

"P.E" Ian said with his mouth full of food

I felt my phone vibrating in my pocket, I took it out, opening a text..it's from Damien

"Can I drive you home today" I quickly replied back

"Wow, that came out of nowhere...why the sudden change Mr.Young 🤔" after seconds he replied

"Just want to talk with you...Can we like talk in a café after school" I looked at the text in confusion

"Moon is everything alright " Ian asked looking worried. I nodded my head smiling at him

"Nothing wrong I'm fine"I said then quickly replied to Damien asking if there's something wrong

"Nothing love just we haven't talked in so long..😇"

What does he mean by love I felt my self-blushing which was noticed by Emily

"Girl why are you blushing...Ooh wait a second who are you texting" She narrowed her beautiful bright blue eyes at me

"Damien texted me saying that he wants to drive me to the café and talk" I said looking everywhere but their eyes cause I know how they'll react

"Are you f**king kidding me Moon are you seriously still talking with them after all we said about them" Ian hissed

"But Ian they did nothing bad to me, They treat me so nicely "

"It's all an act Moon they're acting but at the end they will hurt you and badly mark my words " Ian said raising his voice a little

"I'm with Ian we're only saying this cause we care about you Moon but you do what you want but please remember our words" Emily said holding my hands in hers...I love her she's like a sister that I never had

"Don't worry...please Ian don't be mad at me pretty please" I gave him my puppy eyes

He looked at me for a second trying to hide his smile "Okay" he huffed "Just be careful" He said and I smiled

We finished the last class finally then walked out from the school to the parking lot, I start looking for Damien's car and when I found it I waved at Ian and Emily then ran to his car

"Hey" I said smiling a little while waving at him

"Hello, Get in" He said getting in the driver seat, I followed.

We sat in silence...an awkward silence. He wanted to talk so why isn't he talking. I kept looking at the window and playing with my fingers, Suddenly the car stops he got out and ran to my side opening the door for me

"What a gentleman, Thank you" He chuckled then mumbled a welcome. We walked into the cafe and found an empty table i left my bag aside and sat down

"How have you been doin' ?" He asked sitting down

"I'm good and you?" I looked at him

"I'm fine..So why don't you come to sit with us? Why you keep sitting with these two losers" I widened my eyes at his question

"Emily and Ian aren't losers and stop saying bad things about 'em but about not sitting with you and your friends I honestly don't know" I said drowning in my thoughts..I want to talk to him about what Ian and Emily have been saying about them

"What do you mean you don't know. You can sit with us any time you want you're always welcome...Jess, Alex and Vicky really want you in our squad" He smiles a little and I nodded not knowing what to say

"Can I talk with you about something that really bothers me?" I said nervously..Am i doing the right thing?

"Of course you can" He smiled

I cleared my throat "look I've heard a lo-" The waitress came and interrupt me REALLY???

"Are you ready to order?" she smiled kindly looking at me

"I'll take a double chocolate frappuccino " I said smiling. She wrote my order and looked at Damien ready to take his order

"I'll take Ice latte with caramel" she wrote the orders and nodded her head then walks away

"So what do you want to talk about?"

"I've heard that you, Jessica, Alexander and Vicky have done a lot of bad things to the new students who comes to the school every year " I said trying to read his face expressions

"Who told you this?" The way he is looking at me makes me nervous

"I hear-" He cut me off

"Ian and Emily?!" He asked

"What?" I whispered

"Did Ian and Emily told you this sh*t?" He said putting his elbows on the table while resting his chin on his palm

"N-No No They didn-" he cut me off again

"Oh but they did" He smiled sarcastically and I shook my head

"Look Moon Ian and Emily always say bad stuff about us ALWAYS and make people hate us. I'm not gonna lie we did a lot of bad stuff but we changed mainly I changed " He said

"What about last year..Jimmy" I whispered

"What?" he said looking confused

I cleared my throat "Ian told me what you all did to him"

"That's not true" He said turning his gaze to the table

"And what you all did to Emily too"

"We've done nothing" He said nervously

"You hurt her and Ian's best friend"

"We did nothing to them"

"You destroyed Jimmy's dream"

"We didn't hu-" I interrupted him

"Alexander and other guys beaten him" I said my voice getting a little loud

"Moon Stop" He said pointing his finger at me

"And you were with them"I narrowed my eyes at him

"Stop it"

"His left leg got paralyzed" As soon as I finished the sentence he got up and left the café. I stood up immediately and followed him

"So it's true" I said loudly for him to hear

He turned around " It was all in the past I changed and don't you think I regret it"

I took steps until I was in front of him "Why did you do it?" I whispered looking directly at his eyes

"We were young and stupid...We changed" I nodded looking at the floor thinking about what he said. I felt his fingers holding my chin making me look up at him

"Believe me"

And from this moment I felt like I'm stuck and didn't know who to trust Ian and Emily or Damien and his friends..From Damien's reaction i can totally say that Ian isn't lying but if they changed why can't we give them a chance
