Moon's Pov
I turned around to face Damien and found him laughing while giving Alex a bro hug
"Damien, I told you not to make him angry can't you control yourself once around him" I said tugging through my hair while watching Ian walking out of the school
I waited for him to answer but instead, he was staring at me awkwardly, I looked around me at the crowd who is watching "WHAT!! LOOK AWAY" I shouted and they started separating
"Wow, Moon I didn't know you can shout " Vicky said playing with her hair
"Vick, can you take them and go to the class I want to talk with her alone" Damien whispered to Vicky referring to the rest, She did what he said then he turned his gaze to me
"Are you gonna say something or what?" I said breaking his uncomfortable staring
"Why are you such a joy killer?" what!!
"Joy?! is this enjoyable to you...seeing me lose my friends" I said processing why everything is turning against me today!
He crossed his hands taking a breath "No and yes" oh we're playing games now
"What does that suppose to mean!!"
"No, because I don't love seeing you sad but yes because it's Ian and Emily " He said leaning against the locker, I rolled my eyes at his words and huffed
"Can you stop this?" I said looking down at my feet shaking my head slightly. The bell rang and I know it's second period but I don't care, I seriously need this day to end right here right now
"What do you have now?" Damien said putting his hands in his pockets
"History and you?" I looked at him
"English I have to go...and I'm sorry about Ian and Emily" He turned around and start walking to the class

It's finally the end of the day. I think Emily and Ian didn't come back cause I didn't find them all day and I sat in the English class for the first day in this period alone without them. I have to explain myself to him and Emily and he also needs to tell me about him and Jessica, I snatched my phone out of my pocket and dialed his number but as I expected he didn't answer I tried again but it also sent me straight to his voice mail I texted him that we need to talk and to tell me where the hell is he?
Since he is not answering me I think I'll go straight to his place, I said to myself stopping a lift it took about fifteen minutes until I arrived, I knocked on the door hoping his grandma answer it because I don't know how his reaction would be.
And thank god it's his grandma "Hi Nan" I said waving
"Hello, Moon how are you darling?"
"I'm fine um... I was wondering if Ian is home ?"
"No, honey he's with Emily in the-"I cut her off politely
"Secret place?"
"Yes"
"Thanks a lot, nan" I said running back to the lift while waving at nan
I arrived at the secret place while giving the driver the money, I noticed that he was looking at me weirdly "What?" I raised my left eyebrow looking confused. the driver cleared his throat "Are you sure that this is the place? it looks abandoned ma'am" he said looking outside the window "Don't worry I'm gonna be okay thank you for asking"I said getting out of the car
I walked to the trap door and got myself in then walked upstairs slowly while i can clearly hear the phonograph playing from downstairs and i can hear Emily's voice too
"Ian, please say something...you're not gonna be silent forever" I heard Emily saying while I'm standing behind the door
"Ian listen to me carefully, Moon doesn't deserves you she's a player and a liar we thought she might be our friend but i guess we were wrong ha!! don't you see she left us at the first argument" Oh my god I can't believe this is Emily talking about me like this and what does she mean by "She doesn't deserves you"
"I know what you saw today totally hurt you but i think you were wrong about your feelings" she added and i can feel my mind steaming from thinking about what she's saying, I guess i get what she is referring to, no i can't stay out here longer
I stepped forward and opened the door and they snapped out and look directly at me and i can totally tell that i'm not welcomed because Ian immediately looked away and Emily glanced at me in disgust, i kept staring at Em thinking about what she said
"What?" She said
"We need to...talk" I said nervously
"There's nothing to talk about" Em hissed
I ignored her and said "Ian"
"Why did you lie to me?" He looked at me for a second
"Let me explain myself"
"What are you gonna explain Moon you two were holding hands" He said loudly
"And you were kissing Jessica, aren't you gonna explain yourself too?" I replied as loud
"I didn't kiss her she forced herself on me and don't you dare turn the table on me if anyone needs to explain it's you" He said breathing deeply that i can clearly see his lungs going up and down
"Just let me talk...I know that you hate him and you know that i like him, i tried to listen to you and forget about him but I couldn't..so it became like a choice between you two and this is hard i can't lose one of you so i-" He cut me off standing up
"So you fooled me"
"No Ian I didn't" I said huffing
"OH REALLY SO WHAT DO YOU CALL YOURSELF AND HIM GOING OUT WITHOUT ME KNOWING" He yelled
"I'M SORRY IAN BUT I COULDN'T CHOOSE BACK THEN" I yelled back looking deeply into his eyes
"Ok so choose now " He said challenging me
"What?" I mumbled, I hate what is happening I really do
He walked towards me "Choose Moon it's me or him" he said only inches apart from my face
"I c-can't...I can't choose h-he loves me and you're my-"He suddenly cut my hesitation
"AND I LOVE YOU" He yelled with his eyes bloodshot "CHOOSE NOW MOON" I feel like I'm drowning i'm breathing so fast, I can hear my heart pumping in my ears, I'm standing with a paralyzed tongue just staring at his eyes and i'm feeling a tear going down my cheek, I took a quick look at Emily and she's looking at Ian disappointed
"I thought so, she can't say it she can't choose, right Moon?" Em said giving me a low look
"Prove her wrong Moon" Ian said strongly but it sounds like he is begging me to prove Emily wrong,
My heart aches so freaking awful
I looked at my feet "I-i.." My mouth froze
"Is it that hard!?...i will make it easy for you Moon" He took a breath "We're done"
"What?" I mumbled with my tears going down my face
"I chose for you Moon, if I'm forcing you on this choice change it " He said looking at me hopeless but I didn't open my mouth with one word
"Bye, Moon" He said grabbing his keys while his eyes are watering then left fast
As soon as he closed the door I couldn't balance myself and sat on the bag chair and cried hysterically
"Why are you crying? You should be happy..now each one got her man" I raised my head confusedly
"What are you saying?" I sobbed
"Open up your mind Moon now you got Damien and i got Ian" What the hell is she saying ?
"ARE YOU CRAZY ? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU" I yelled and she laughed
"Me? I'm so happy, Now do me a favor and get the hell out of our life kay?" She said faking a smile
I wiped my tears and stood up to see what's wrong with this psycho !!
"HAPPY? WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS EMILY AREN'T YOU SUPPOSED TO BE MY FRIEND?" I yelled
"Of course I'm happy after all of this work I'm getting what i want"
"Work?" I asked in confusion
"Yes, Do you think I didn't know you were seeing Damien and that you're going to tell everyone that you're dating !!" Well I'm confused now what the hell is going on ?
"You knew!!... How?"
"Jessica told me everything "
Flashback
One week ago Jessica sent Emily a text
Jess: Em do you wanna know a secret
Em: What? Tell me
Jess: But first answer a question
Em: No keep it to yourself since you're not doing anything 4 free😒
Jess: Even if i told you this secret is about Moon and Ian🤭
Em: What question?
Jess: i knew you're smart
Jess: Do you love Ian?
Em: Why is this important to you?
Jess: just answer and you'll know
Em: Yes i do
Jess: Did you know that Damien and Moon are dating behind Ian's back🤫
Em: WTF ARE YOU LYING ??
Jess: why would i? Plus it's obvious that Ian likes Moon and i kinda knew you liked him so i was thinking about making a deal with ya
Jess: Me and you make a plan that we reveal Moon's secret and make moon lose Ian 👊🏻
Jess: And after that you win Ian all to yourself 😉
Em: let me think
....
"Aren't you afraid i tell Ian?" I said tears running down my face
She giggled sarcastically " Go and try, you lied once you can lie again Ian won't believe a liar"
"I didn't know you hate me that much you're evil"
"Now you know" I can't take this anymore, I opened the door with a lot of tears covering my face, I picked up my phone dialing Damien after three rings he picked up
"Hey babe"
"Damien" I said sobbing
"Moon is everything alright? Are you okay?" He said
"I lost him"

Ian's Pov
I drove fast carelessly nothing in my mind except what happened earlier. I lost her I ended everything. I confess my love for her and then lost her. I lost Moon.
I felt my phone vibrating in my pocket I picked my phone up and found a text from Damien
Meet me in front of the school...Wanna talk...
I took a U-turn and went straight to the school to see what that b*tch wants to talk about
It took about 15 minuets till I arrived and found him alone leaning on his car's door, I pulled over, got out of the car then leaned on it
"What do you want?" As soon as I finished the sentence Alexander appeared standing beside Damien while waving at me
"Hello drama queen" He chuckled while clicking his fingers twice suddenly around six guys appeared holding every weapon you can think of, I understand everything now
"Look, Ian, you ended everything with Moon which I'm happy about but it's my turn to end everything with you. I'm gonna send you straight to the hospital you piece of sh*t" I widened my eyes and opened my mouth a little trying to process what he just said. I felt myself getting pushed I looked behind me found two guys pushing me in the middle of the circle. I balanced myself and walked fast forward to Damien and grabbed his collar
"Are you really doing this you man, Can't you face me alone... are you afraid to get punched ha" I wasn't able to hear his reply because Alexander hit my shin hardly with a baseball bat that i fell on the hard cement ground
"What about playing a cute game every time you scream in pain we hit you harder" He said swinging a stick and knee a bit near my face "Ready?" He smiled
I tried to stand up but they pushed me down again
"Fu*k you" I hissed
"I think he's ready guys" he stood up and one of them handed him the baseball bat. Within one blink a hit landed on my back I fell but supported myself with my hands while groaning loudly and I stood up fast on my feet
"Oooh Did we hear a voice? He wants more" Damien said clapping his hands. One of them holds my arms behind my back, Alexander came in front of me
"Let's get started" He said punching me in my stomach multiple times fast strongly and each time it gets worse, after the last punch I spit the blood that was in my mouth to the floor, trying to keep my eyes open but my head started to get heavier and heavier
"Good job Alex...It's my turn now...straight into his pretty face that is gonna get ruined by me" Damien said patting his back
Damien took two steps in front of me then grabbed my chin making me look to his face but I can't see his face clearly it's blurred everything around me is blurred. He pushed my face and punched me square in the face, the next one was on my left cheek ,the other was on the right one. He punched me a lot that I lost count. The guy that was holding my arms left me so I fell on the floor and all of them started kicking me until it all turned black...
"Hey" someone tapped on my cheeks twice
"Is he dead?"
"Let's get out of here fast!!" I'm hearing running footsteps...I fainted

I heard the heart rate monitor's sound, The sound of it started to annoy me why, I'm hearing it I hate it's sound. I tried to open my eyes but I feel my eyelids heavy or swollen. I opened my eyes a little but all I see is blurry then I heard a gasp
"He's opening his eyes. He's awake...Ian wake up darling" Nan, that's my nan's voice. I felt her hands holding mine , I tighten my grip on hers. I finally opened my eyes and it landed on my Nan's beautiful teary eyes
"Oh God Thank you Thank you " She said, I smiled while my free hand wiping her tears
"Where am I ?" I said looking around me and I got shocked about how raspy and broken my voice is
"In the hospital honey"
"Why? what happened?" I furrowed my eyebrows
"I don't know the hospital called me saying that you're here and I came rushing to find you looking so miserable you tell me Mr...did you got in a fight" After my Nan said the last sentence I remembered everything all of it. I'm gonna kill you Damien wait until I get my hands on you and I'm gonna kill you
"How long I've been conscious?"
"For 6 hours...Oh yeah Moon came" I widened my eyes and I felt my heart pumping so fast just by hearing her name
"Really...Where is she?" I said and Nan giggled
"She left before you wake up" I looked at her in confusion
"But why?"
"She said both of you aren't in good terms right now" She shrugged. I closed my eyes and groaned
"She came running and her eyes were full of tears when the doctors came out of your room she wanted to see you first she kept mumbling forgive me for hundred times what happened between you too Ian?"
"I don't want to talk about it right now" I said closing my eyes again
Suddenly the door opened. Emily entered with bags in her hands and a bright smile drawn on her face when she saw me. I waved at her and she left the bags on the floor and ran hugging me gently
"You're finally awake" Her voice was full of relief. She pulled away and her gaze turned to Nan
"I bought breakfast for us Nan, me and you" I raised my face to look at Emily
"What about me?" I raised my voice
"I'm sorry but you're gonna stay here for a day and you're gonna eat from the hospital food" She laughed
"F**k my life" I huffed
"Ian watch your language" Nan said and I scoffed
