Chapter One-hundred & Thirty

♦ September's POV ♦

I crawl out of Zach's bed as soon as I can stand to be apart from him, I needed to clean up, maybe a shower would douse the burning demons in my mind.

I crouch in the shower, it was so easy to believe that I would actually do something meaningful or worth something.

The water runs into my eyes so I clamp them shut, burning tears mixing with the lukewarm water.

It's dark in here too, just like in mind and I leave it that way, I doubt the lighting would even work with the amouth of dark magic swirling around.

I drag myself out of the bathroom, pull in a pair of Zach's sweatpants and a long sleeved shirt.

My internal temperature was going haywire, I couldn't even tell if I was cold or warm because I can feel how cold Zach is yet there's a ball of ice just sitting in my middle, right where my heart used to be.

I lay my head on his shoulder, careful around his bandages.
