Little Helper

Within a second I was in town again due to Fatpass's incredible ability.

I look around seeing buildings on fire with two villains flying nearby. One catching buildings on fire then other shocking light posts with electricity.

I see civilians running and screams for their lives.

'That's my job on this... I'm not a hero but I'll do my best.'

I see villains chasing after the civilians.

I look around for something to use against them.

I see an alleyway heading to where the civilians were running.

I run down the alleyway to get to them before the villains.

I see a crowbar laying against the wall.

I quickly grab it still running.

I make it to the end of the alleyway hearing the civilians about to pass me.

I held out my hand grabbing someone pulling them against the wall.

My eyes widen when I see who it was.

"Jay?"

"Jess?"

"Jay, where did you go.." A lady asked.

"Mandy, over here." He whispered.

I look and see the broadcaster appear.

I hear quick footsteps coming toward us.

"You two hide." I whispered.

"Jess, what are you going to do?"

"Just run, stay out of sight and go to North Park."

"What about you?"

"Don't worry about me." I said hitting the crowbar on my hand grabbing his tight.

They looked at each other unsure.

"Jess, are you sure?"

"You'll be safe in North Park."

"Where did they go?!" I hear.

I peek seeing two villains look around.

"Spread around and find more civilians."

I look back.

"Go now... Get out of sight and don't look back."

"Thank you Jess."

They ran down the alleyway.

I hear footprints nearby. When I peek I see a little girl to my right looking around scared.

'Wait where did she come from?'

"Oh hello little girl you lost..."

My heart sank as I hear a dark rough voice.

"I can't find my mommy."

"Oh well, I have a feeling you won't need one anymore."

I hear a sling of a blade. I felt fear consume my body.

The little girl screamed running away.

I quick footsteps running toward me heading toward her.

I closed my eyes swinging as hard as I could no thinking at all.

All I heard was a loud ringing noise from the crowbar vibrating.

I slowly open my eyes seeing the crowbar went inside the villains face.

My eyes widen as I let go of the crowbar feeling my eyes burning with tears pouring out.

I looked at the body fall to the ground seeing swords out of his wrists.... He could have killed me if he saw me..

'Oh... My god I killed him... Oh my god...'

I felt my hands shaking looking down seeing blood on me.

"Hello? Mommy?"

I look up seeing the little girl again looking at me with dry tears in her eyes full of curiosity toward me.

I quickly wipe my hands on my pants.

"Is... He... Gone?"

"Yes, he's gone. Sweetie come here..." I said squatting down with my hand out.

"Where's my mommy?"

"I don't know but I'll help you find her, okay. Just come here please."

She nodded walking over to me.

I opened my arms out at that moment she ran colliding her body on mine hugging me so tight crying baring her face on my chest. I could feel her whole body shaking so badly. I wrapped my arms around her hugging tight.

"Hey it's okay.. Your safe."

I grabbed the crowbar pulling it out of the guys face while she wasn't looking.

"I'll protect you."

She nodded.

I peeked over the edge of the building seeing the coast clear.

I slowly let go of her grabbing her hand.

"Okay sweetie I want to play a game with you. It's called the quiet game. Your going to be quiet no matter what happens. Can you do that for me?"

She nodded.

We walked slowly looking around full of caution.

"Hey have you seen Knife Boy??"

"You mean Death Blade? He was around here somewhere. Maybe he found a civilian you have how he gets."

I squeezed her hand pulling her to me put my back against the wall slowly peeking the corner.

I see someone on a walkie -talkie.

"Has anyone even seen the heroes yet?"

"No, I haven't."

"No, I haven't either."

"Man they really just gave up huh..."

"Well they need to understand this city will be empty. We destroyed almost everything now... We go after any civilians. Then... This town will be good as ours."

"I already have a feeling this town is already ours."

"Not until there's no more civilians. Remember eliminate them all."

"I know, I know."

He got off his walkie talkie looking around.

When he looked in my direction.

My heart sank as I smashed my body against the wall.

I hear footsteps coming toward me.

I felt my heart beating out of my chest.

I let go of her hand.

She looked up at me.

I placed my finger of my lips then grabbed the crowbar with both hands.

I hear flames erupt.

I grit my teeth ready to swing then I hear a scream.

My eyes widen seeing a woman running away from a villain.

"Mommy!!"

My heart dropped to my stomach as the little girl ran to the civilian and the villain.

I hear the guy laugh holding up fire hands.

"Bye bye little girl."

I see him about to throw the fireball.

I yelled out letting my body take over in rage. I swung as hard as I could at him.

The fire went away as I kicked him off my crowbar.

I breathed out hard looking up seeing the woman fell.

"Mommy!!!"

I see the villain grinning looking at the little girl.

"Sorry little girl, mommy's already dead."

My eyes widen when I see the guy form a sharp ice fist ready to stab her.

I look around for anything.

There's nothing.

'Think, think, think!!!'

"HEY!!!!" I screamed out.

He looked over at me.

"I killed two of your men, I'm who you want!!!" I said holding the bloody crowbar.

His eyes widen as he grit his teeth.

"You fucking bitch!!" He yelled out.

He held up his hand and balled it.

My eyes widen feeling my whole body being crushed by a giant ice fist.

He walked over to me.

I see the woman and girl run away.

He approached my face holding an ice blade to my neck.

"You have some nerve little girl..let's fix that..."

I felt my whole body being crushed.

I looked down and see a ice block all around me. I hear bones popping as got tighter. I screamed out closing my eyes feeling the last of the air in me leave me. I couldn't breath. I felt like my head as going to pop.

I hear him laughing.

"Who's going to save you now little girl."

"My.....Mysterion...." I managed to say.

He laughed out loud.

"Mysterion?! You really think he's going to save you.. Did you not hear the heroes abandoned this city, your fucked little girl!!"

I hear a thud.

I open one eye seeing a dark figure behind him in the shadows.

I hear bones break as I see the figure kicked the guy on the side of his face full force.

I fell to the ground breathing hard as the ice melted away.

I slowly look up seeing the figure leave the shadows.

"Mysterion?"

"Sorry I didn't get here sooner.."

"What happened?" I breathed out.

He grabbed my hand helping me up.

"The leader was being difficult..."

"Is everything okay now?"

He nodded.

"Are you okay?"

"I... Killed two of them.."

His eyes widen.

"You killed them?"

"I... Had to.." I said looking down.

"The first one wasn't unintentional... But... I."

"I understand... It's not easy." He said

I nodded.

"When we are done here... I think you'd fit in very well with us."

I spiked up head up at him in complete shock and disbelief.

"M-Mysterion? I... Don't have powers..."

"You can prove yourself today and become one."

I smiled.

"Thank you."

He nodded.

"Come on lets make sure the team is doing okay."
