All Up To Me

'Something seems off... There has to be something more to this...He seemed like he didn't want to leave.. I should check on him.'

I was about to open my door but jumped back when I hear knock at the door. My heart leaped.

'That must be him....'

I opened the door feeling my heart jumped when I see someone in a hood with his hands in his pockets.

"Can I help yo-"

My heart jolted when I felt his grab my tank top pulling me harshly at him. I screamed out getting cut off by lips smashing against mine. I tried pushing and kicking but out of no way I felt his tongue force in my mouth. I felt him kick my feet to the side knocking me on the ground but he was still inside my mouth. I breathed out trying so hard to fight that's when I felt I was drowning. My eyes shot open when I see the guy with his hood down but black oozing from his eyes dripping off his face on mine. I tried breathing but I felt cold liquid inside me. I felt my arms go numb and eventually everything went black.

(not long after)

I woke up off of the ground looking around groaning in pain. I held my head.

'Why am I on the ground? Was that a dream? Wait..Kyle..I need to check on him...he must live nearby or something, right?'

I slowly get up off the floor opening my door walking down the street and stop when I see someone walking. I tensed when I realize it was him walking on the sidewalk. I slowly follow behind hiding. I look up and see him walking putting his hands in his pockets looking at his feet.

I could hear him talking to himself..

"I can't believe she did that... I can't believe I stopped it.. But... She can't get close to me.. I'm afraid I'll hurt her.. I have the worst temper I just...can't be with her... If they found out they would kill her or torture her to get to us all."

I see his hands ball up out of his pockets.

"I can't let that happen... Not to her.. I hope she understands that.."

I see him go in a house and go inside.

I sighed.

At least I know the truth, it does seem that he cares about me... If it's true if the villains saw me with him, they would take advantage no doubt about it.

I was about to head back but then I hear a window break.

My heart sank as I quickly look seeing a window broken in his house.

'Kyle...he's in trouble!'

I quickly ran to the house then hid when I him grunt in pain.

I grit my teeth.

'What do I do?'

"You are coming with us along with your other friends... Next is your girlfriend."

I tensed.

"Ohhh you look like you would kill me the second your let go.. Do you have nothing to say? I think your hiding it..."

I slowly peek the window feeling my face flush seeing the same three villains that ran away. The cloak guy was forcing Kyle on his knees.

I see Kyle gritting his teeth about to explode in rage.

"Hey don't look at me with those eyes.. I already have all the other heroes... I'm just looking for that girl of yours...You know I can read you like a book every time I mention her. I know she's your weakness. Its obvious."

I see him get closer to Kyle grabbing his face hard.

"I want you to know... When we find her.. We are going to gut her..and make sure she suffers right in front of you."

The second he said that. Kyle managed to shoot out a laser beam hitting the guy hard crashing him into the wall. I see Kyle quickly get up panting hitting the other guys with a laser beam.

One guy created an ice shield, the other turned to steel shielding his body with it.

Kyle panicked running out the back door.

"GET HIM YOU TWO!!!"

I see them run after him while the leader was recovering on the ground.

I grit my teeth.

'Do I finish him off or... Do I help Kyle?'

Before I could do anything I hear a loud yell.

My heart sank so hard.

'Kyle..'

I ran around the house and froze when I see him feet frozen to the ground while the steel villain stabbed his chest with his sharp steel fist.

He coughed out blood looking down with it slowly seeping out of his mouth. I felt my whole world crashing down.

"Can we kill him now?"

"If it was up to me yes, but the boss wants them alive."

"We can tell him he put up too much of a fight and we had to kill him."

"Hmm... Sounds good."

I see the ice guy hold up an huge sharp ice fist.

He walked up and placed it on his chest right over his heart..

Kyle was looking up with blood oozing out of his mouth with weak eyes.

I grit my teeth in pain.

"Bye bye little hero.."

I see him go in slowly.

I hear him scream out loud with his eyes closed.

'Jess, Jess act now I know you have no weapons but FIGHT!!'

I ran fast aimlessly. I grit my teeth feeling my whole body trembling in anger the more I was hearing him scream out loud with blood coming out.

"Kill him already!"

I went up to him as full force throwing myself at him knowing him over. I was panting backing up in front of Kyle shielding him.

"What the fuck?"

His ice went away immediately.

I hear Kyle fall on the ground with the steel sling out of his chest..

"Ohhh Looky here it the journalist.."

I look back at Kyle seeing him slowly look up at me so weak.

"J-Jess?"

I look up at the two holding my arms out protecting Kyle with my life.

"You want me come and get me."

"Jess don't... Do this." I hear so weakly behind me.

I look down at Kyle seeing him tearing up badly beaten.

'It'll give him enough time to heal.. He will be safe.'

I ran away fast.

"Get her!"

I hear them right behind me.

I hear ice form on the ground.

I jumped avoiding getting stuck.

I ran faster than I have even run.

"No, no don't kill her...we will have fun."

I see an ice wall form making me run to the left.

I see ice form covering everything but a little area leading to an abandoned building..

When I got inside I see a new path heading downstairs.

I quickly ran downstairs and turned in a dark corner covering my mouth trying to be quiet.

I see them look around.

"I can't believe she fell for that.. This will be so easy."

I back up feeling something on my hand I tightened my grip feeling a handle.

I hold it up feeling my heart sink and mouth gap.

'A machete...'

I grit my teeth and ran at one of them not caring anymore.

I aim at his head swinging as hard as I could feeling it stick halfway.

I felt tears come as so much adrenaline kicked in my system. I pulled it out seeing him fall completely lifeless. The other one looked back but I quickly hid in the shadows, he was in denial.

"Ryan?"

He grit his teeth.

He yelled out as he stomped on the ground causing ice to form everywhere in a second.

My eyes widen as I jumped and stepped on it.

He looked over at me with a sinister look.

"There you are!!!!" he growled.

He formed an ice sword charging at me.

I quickly jump diving away as he swung at the area I was in.

I struggled getting up as it was so slippery. He looked down at me. He walked up to me.

I grit my teeth in fear.

"I'll be sure to gut you slowly you damn cunt!"

He hit a button on his wrist.

He held up the sword throwing himself at me but I held up the machete to his heart.

He went toward me and stopped. His eyes shot open wide as he looked down at my blade blood shot out of his mouth onto me. He dropped on me then the ice went away.

I quickly drug myself off from under him panting hard. That's when I hear footsteps going down the stairs.

I tensed up hiding in the shadows.

I look around and see nothing but darkness.

My eyes widen as I see shadow hands forming in the lite up part of the room on the outside of the shadow I was in .

I hear a laugh that sent shivers down my spine.

"Gotcha."

My heart raced when I felt my whole body being grabbed.

I tried screaming but it was muffled.

I see a guy show up in a cloak.

"Brother said your a slippery one.. Such a shame.. You were in the shadows."

I see him kick the body on the ground.

"Hmmm Just another useless body to not have to worry about.."

I hear footsteps

I look and see the other cloaked guy. I tensed when I see him holding someone. I slowly hold my hand out behind me gritting my teeth praying I could find something. My whole body jumped when I felt pain in my hand. I felt a stinging pain. I grit my teeth grabbing whatever it was feeling a blade in my hands. I shimmed it so I was holding the blade. I slowly placed the blade on my belt loop behind me.

Thankfully he grabbed me throwing me on a chair without seeing the knife.

I see a light show the whole room.

My heart sank as I looked around in horror.

'Everyone... Everyone is here... Tied up... Badly beaten... And defeated.'

They all had metal collars on.

I felt tears come when I look over and see the leader holding Kyle.

"This one doesn't need the collar. Hes already practically dead."

I grit my teeth feeling rage building up.

'Kyle... I'm sorry... I tried..'

He threw Kyle forcefully on a chair strapping him in. He was so badly beaten he did look dead already. He was so pale and still covered in his terrible wounds.

"Please Kyle....don't die on me..please.."

"You won't get away with this you fucking monsters!!" I growled feeling more anger building up.

"Oh dear, I'm afraid we already have."

He grabbed a collar putting it on Kyle.

I felt my eye twitch I grit my teeth so hard I hear them pop.

I felt them tie up my hands with rope.

"Get a strap for my mouth."

I look at them in pure hatred.

"Open wide."

"Up yours asshole!!" I growled.

"Oh honey, that's the wrong thing to say."

I see a shadow hand come out and grab my mouth forcing it open. I felt tears come as he put it on me.

"You have quiet a mouth.. I can't wait to cut that tongue off."

I tensed struggling in the rope seeing them both grab something different.

I felt my stomach flip as one had a scalpel the other with a clever.

"You see... Your not getting out of this alive little girl."

I grit my teeth on the strap in fear.

'I need to grab the knife.. Somehow.. But how.. What do I do... I have to save them all.. It has to be me..It's all up to me.'
