"I cannot allow you to pass, for you are impure and might wish to harm the angel's existence," The cloaked figure greeted two men and a white haired woman at the entrance of the church.
"I can't believe we are stuck looking for a way into a fucking church," Iceberg growled.
"Maybe you should Chill Out, Icecube, the guy is a cultist and remember what happened last time someone tried and tresspassed," the white haired woman says shrugging.
"White, don't start with the puns," Gears says. "Besides, there's snow telling what this thing will do,"
Thunder boomed through the sky as it slowly began to rain.
Gears stepped towards the entity.
"We seek Sanctuary, shelter from the storm," Gears states.
"You are a horrible liar, but it was an attempt nonetheless," The entity sighed.
"I'll let you live for now," the entity creates a shield around the church, but stands outside of it.

The three of them sat under a tree, at the entry of the clearing.
"Well that didn't work," Iceberg says.
"This cult is all about saving us from her wrath, so it's no surprise that they wanna keep her safe," White sighs leaning against a tree.
"Well, According to the documents they pride themselves a lot on following a path of mercy, since 'God betrayed them' or something like that," Iceberg says looking at his phone.
"Any known weaknesses? Something we can bribe em' with?" White asks.
"Additionally, they are fast and quite strong, they only attack when attacked but usually leave their opponent alive, and they pride themselves on their knowledge and often mock people like us for fun," Iceberg finishes.
'So no one needs to try to break it's body if I can just mess with it's mind,'
Gears walks onto the field and approaches the cloaked figure, rain soaking his coat as he walks.
The entity looks up, but remains still on the ground.
"What is it your gonna suggest or try now?" It asked mockingly.
"Perhaps, we could have a wager," Gears says calmly.
The entity bursts out laughing.
"Really?! A-a wager? Your joking right?!"
Gears stood still.
"O-oh, you were serious? Heh, ummm," it recomposes it self as it stands up.
"So, What will we wager?," the entity asked curiously.
"A one on one duel, if we lose, we will leave, and make sure no one comes here, you'll be left alone, however Bright will never be able to return to the foundation," Gears began, before being interrupted by the cruel laughter again.
"Ha ha oh so- So your guessing, if you win I will grant your entry? Seems like an unfair wager in that case, You can't win this fight with simple weaponry, Even if it was all three of you against me, you all would have no chance!"
"He's got a point Gears!" Iceberg yells from a distance.
"So be it," Gears sighs, abandoning his jacket and preparing his gun.
"Alright don't say I didn't warn you," it says.
Shots rang out only to be swiftly avoided, the entity surrounding the researcher seemingly creating clones of itself around him.
'He's not gonna survive this one!' Iceberg thought as gears was occasionally punched by the blurry closing circle.
Closing his eyes he listened.
He managed to grab the entity and throw him across the field.
They began an exchange of dodging and attacking.
Gears eventually got a kick to the stomach, Sending him to the ground.
"It's over!" The entity laughs, standing above Gears prepping a magical attack.
"So it is," he closed his eyes.
"So you can leave?" It says almost as if it were a question.
"We agreed to a duel, it's not over till either one of us dies," Gears states almost annoyed.
"I-I didn't agree to-," it began, before being corrected.
"But you did,"
"Y-You do realize your gonna die right?" He stuttered as Gears lay beneath him.
"Well, I'm not afraid of death," he sighs crossing his arms as he lay in the wet grass.
The entity prepares it's final attack, looking at Gears then to the two bystanders.
It yells out furiously before stepping away from Gears.
Gears smirked briefly as the magical barrier was lowered.
"ARRRGH YOU KNOW WHAT?! I YIELD! JUST GO-," it grumbled as it sat on a log.
"You fought honourably, I'm surprised you kept your end of the bargain," White complements as she walks past him.
Iceburg gives a nod before passing him as well.
The three were finally then granted entry,
Little did they know they had entered the wrong way...
