With only a year on this earth

and a whole life to live 

ever since your birth

you instantly knew how to give

You gave your momma hope

in a world so dark

You helped her finally cope

with the demons in her heart

For auntie and god-mom

two who were deeply in pain

you introduced us to a calm

that took it all away

Your existence cures those who are damaged

and teaches us how to finally love
