Sacrificing his life to protect his best friend was a decision which Hui Yue did not regret, yet who could have known that death was not the final destination, but rather the beginning of a new adventure into a world filled with demonic beasts and martial arts cultivation.

Hui Yue soon found that within this world, strength was what determined your future accomplishments and there was no space for the weak.

Although Sha Yun’s sisters were not present, she could not do too much about it so, instead, Hui Yue went to speak with Old Snake about what they needed. The snake was incredibly polite as he felt that the aura from Hui Yue was on a much higher level than his own. He felt like an ant standing on a mountain and wanting to overcome it in a single day. 


During the conversation, Hui Yue stood in Old Snake’s roo m with Sha Yun on one arm and Huli on the other, feeling stuck between a rock and a hard place. Old Snake was glaring at him the whole time while Sha Yun was glaring at Huli, and during all this, Huli completely ignored everything happening around her.
