Chapter 46

Crunch stepped out of his chambers, at least the hallways were lighted, he followed the sound of talking and laughter to a small, dining room of sorts.

The plain room had naught but a crude, long, wooden table at the very center, benches placed on both sides of it.

The band of rebels were seated on this table, food lined up on it.

Crunch could guess, from the fact that he hadn't bumped into anyone on his way there, that they had booked the entire level of the building.

He was impressed, even for a rundown inn in a dying town such as this one, it would still cost more than Crunch could ever possibly hope to earn to rent out an entire floor.

The others turned in his direction when Crunch stepped into the well lighted room, conversations fading away.

"Good of you to join us." Graydon invited cheerily. "Come over you must be famished."
