Rin's expression hardened and he wrapped a hand around Rem's arm, pulling him up and away.

"W-What? Rin!! What are you doing??" Rem tried to fight his hold on him, Aleya and Taluka facing the same situation with Reta.

Rin doesn't grace him with a reply, his heart ripping even as he left his dying parents behind, if they all died here, how was he to get revenge on the ones who tore his family apart?

The maidservants were sharp Elves, swiftly taking their Lady to a corner of the room where a nondescript cupboard stood, opening the almost too small space and moving aside a false wall.

Taluka crawled in first, the worry on her face loud as though she were speaking and she helped pull Reta in.
