Chapter Five

Everyone looks at Rune waiting for him to speak. "I don't want to talk though," Rune says with yet again, no emotion. From now on just imagine Rune speaking with no tone and emotion. Maybe a bored tone at times? But anyways...

"Why not Rune?" Daniel asks.

"I want to avoid social interactions and activities. And I'm emotionless after all." Rune says.

"Well, I don't exactly think the others want to be here either," Daniel says and Rune calmly looks down to the floor in defeat.

"Okay, so Rune is male, nineteen, born on the thirtieth of January, 2001. He has the antisocial personality disorder. It's a mental health disorder characterised by disregard for other people. Those with antisocial personality disorder (ASPD) may begin to show symptoms in childhood, but the condition can't be diagnosed until adolescence or adulthood. Those with antisocial personality disorder tend to lie, break laws, act impulsively and lack regard for their own safety or the safety of others. Symptoms may lessen with age." Daniel explains.

"Ohh, another rebel around here," I say excitedly.

"Next is Elliott. Elliott is male, nineteen, born on the fifteenth of February, 2001. He has the NPD disorder. A disorder in which a person has an inflated sense of self-importance. Narcissistic personality disorder is found more commonly in men. The cause is unknown but likely involves a combination of genetic and environmental factors. Symptoms include an excessive need for admiration, disregard for others' feelings, an inability to handle any criticism and a sense of entitlement." Daniel states.

"Oh, well that explains a lot," I say chuckling and cracking a smirk and Elliott just scoffs and rolls his eyes at me.

"Now to finish it off, Cosmo. Cosmo is male, nineteen, born on the fourth of October, 2002. You have the selective mutism disorder. It's also known as situational mutism, it's a complex childhood anxiety disorder characterized by a child's inability to speak and communicate effectively in select social settings, such as school. These children are able to speak and communicate in settings where they are comfortable, secure, and relaxed." Daniel explains.

We all nod and Daniel puts the papers away.

"I'm looking forward to gathering with you all once a week from now on. You should all get along with each other and be friends. You're all basically the same age anyway so that makes it easier." Daniel says now standing up and taking his leave.

"Yes! Lunchtime now! I'm gonna get there before any of these other losers and dirtbags get their first to take all the good first serves and doughnuts." I say determinedly.

"Luna, do you need a knife or assistance?" Ivy asks causally.

"Nah, it's okay," I say and Ivy nods.

"Let's get going before lots of people get there before us!" I exclaim.

"Okay, come on Dawn," Ivy says holding onto Dawn's hand now following after me.

"O-okay!" Dawn says holding Ivy's hand back.
