Out of it

Chao was still holding her phone when it rang again, but he couldn't do anything. He let it go on and on. But it rang again and again. So, for the sixth time, he picked it up.

"You idiot!" he heard the distinctive scream of his brother when Chao took up the phone. But he didn't care about it now.

His world crumbled. Yitian was his whole world. And now he was gone.

Chao hung up on his brother and threw away his phone. Crushing it against the door. Finally, the sound stopped and Chao was left alone.

He took the pillow that Yitian was sleeping on and started to sob into it. He was inhaling Yitian's scent, crying hard, thinking about how he would never scent Yitian again. He would never touch or talk to him.

He left him! He left him as his mother did! Why did everyone leave him? He was unworthy of love, why to love anyone that would leave him again.
