Prologue

He knew he was lost. The tall trees around him seemed unfamiliar. They circled him as if closing off any route of leaving. He looked up to see the sun's light pouring through the gaps between the trees. He closed his eyes trying to hear himself think.

He got up and started walking back the way he thought he had come from. He walked a long way until he reached a fence. A tall fence that reached probably 5 metres high, and had signs written on it: "Do not trespass! Private property!"

He climbed the fence.

He jumped down on the leaves and heard them crunched beneath his weight. The area was large but the trees seem more parted away than the ones behind him. He kept himself together, taking a step closer to whatever was waiting for him up ahead.

As the sky had turned a dark blue shade and his anxiety started to kick in, he began to run until he could make out a large building up ahead through the mist that had fallen over the forest.

As he approached the building he saw it was a tall house. Only one light was switched on which was on the second floor, he assumed. He was almost to the porch when he heard something behind him. He swivelled around and he saw it.

It stood there with its mouth open, it didn't have eyes or a nose. It had extremely thin arms as if there was no flesh underneath. Its skin was tightly wrapped around its body, exposing its rig cage and every other muscle.

He quickly took a step back and the creature shifted in its spot as if trying to find its prey. He quickly started banging on the door as panic overtook his body. Suddenly the door flew open and he fell inside as the door banged shut again. He looked up to see a man hovered over him with a smug smile on his face.

He quickly got to his feet and stared at the man.

"Hello sir," he spoke.

The man just stared at him and before he could say any more the man was walking away from him.

He looked around the house. It was dark and gloomy with not many lights, the place was covered in cobwebs and in the far corner was a painting. Something he recognised. He moved towards it to get a closer look when a sharp pain grew in his head and before he blacked out, the only thought that ran through his head was that: '๐˜›๐˜ฐ๐˜ฎ๐˜ฐ๐˜ณ๐˜ณ๐˜ฐ๐˜ธ ๐˜ธ๐˜ข๐˜ด ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ฅ๐˜ข๐˜บ ๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ธ๐˜ข๐˜ด ๐˜ต๐˜ฐ ๐˜ณ๐˜ฆ๐˜ต๐˜ถ๐˜ณ๐˜ฏ ๐˜ฉ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฎ๐˜ฆ, ๐˜ฃ๐˜ถ๐˜ต ๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ฅ๐˜ฐ๐˜ถ๐˜ฃ๐˜ต๐˜ฆ๐˜ฅ ๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ'๐˜ฅ ๐˜ฎ๐˜ข๐˜ฌ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ช๐˜ต.'
