NICK'S POINT OF VIEW
Nick looks for the first chair he can find and plunges into the chair. He put his hands on his head and rest with his elbows on his knees while letting his head hang low. He tries to recap the words he just heard the doctor said to the nurse. He takes a deep breath and recalls everything, word for word.
(Did I hear baby? Or did I hear something else? Maybe it was my imagination? Maybe she was talking to someone else?)
He lifts his head and looks around him; he's trying to find someone to confirm what he heard. Then he saw the nurse that took Helena behind the curtain.
"Sorry, mam?"
"Yes?"
"I'm sorry to bother you, but I just want to know if the baby is in danger?"
"I'm sorry sir, but I'm not allowed to discuss the baby or Helena with anyone. Should I get her doctor for you?"
"Uhm….no thank you."
