Chapter 7: "Do you trust me?"

I get up at twelve early noon. I walk over to the bathroom and jump into the shower, washing my body and hair as the warm water heats my skin making all the coldness of the world disappear. As soon as I'm done i wrap a towel around me and walk to the sink to brush my teeth. I walk out into my room to see a Zach lying across my bed as he taps on his phone.
"What the hell are you doing in my room?!"
"Your granny let me in." He replies nonchalantly still looking at his phone.
"Ma?!!!" I scream hoping she'd come up and explain
"Stop screaming, she's not here. She went grocery shopping." He says still not looking at me
"Get out!" I demand
He gets up and for a moment i thought he'd actually listen and go downstairs, but instead he walks right over to me slowly, finally stopping when our faces are inches away from one another. He looks down into my eyes. Once again time stops. I forget everything. He leans down and i feel his warm breath on my lips.
"I don't want to."
"W-w-what?" I ask confused
"Im not getting out. Put some clothes on. You're tempting me with just a small towel around you."
Shit. I forgot i only had a towel around me
I push past him, walk over to my dresser grabbing some underwear and clothes. I stomp my feet as i walk past him, into the bathroom slamming the door. I hear him chuckle and i roll my eyes.
I get dressed into a sweatshirt and some oversized joggers, brush my hair and put it into a messy bun, then walk out see Zach once again lying on my bed. I ignore him and put on my pair of Addidas continental 80's.
"Im done." I say sitting on the bed
"Let's go then."
He walks out and i follow close behind grabbing my phone, wallet and the English task. I lock the front door and jump into his car.
He starts the car and drives. I look out the window trying to avoid him and he breathes heavily in frustration at my doing.
Eventually we arrive at a cafe. He opens the door allowing me to go through first. We walk in and take a seat at a table. I look around at how beautifully the cafe is decorated.
A waiter comes over and asks what we'd like.
"I'll have a English tea please." Zach requests politely then turns to me.
"Ill have the black tea." I say
She nods and writes it down then walks away.
Zach looks at me weirdly, then shakes his head.
"Shall we dicuss the task?" He asks
I nod
"Okay so the main goal for the term 1 task is to get to know each other and then write a essay about what we have learnt about each other. Simple."
I nod again
"Look i need you to cooperate here, i can't do all the talking."
Im about to nod again but stop myself as the waitress comes back with our hot beverages on a tray.
"One milk tea and one black tea." She says as she places it gently onto the table
"That Will be $7.99"
I take out my wallet to pay and hand it over to the waitress but before she can take it Zach pushes my hands away and pays with his own money.
"Thank you" he says and the she leaves
"I was gonna pay!" I say annoyed
"Its not a big deal." He assures me with a cocky smile
I roll my eyes before taking a sip from my tea
"How can you drink that?" Zach asks referring to my tea
"How can you drink that?" I ask mockingly referring to his.
He rolls his eyes
"Wanna know why i drink it?" I ask
He nods
"Taste it."
"No way!, i cant imagine tea without milk."
"What's wrong?, is the bad boy scared?" I ask taunting him
"Am not."
"Am too."
"No."
"Yes."
"No."
"Yes"
"Fine. Ill taste it but then you have to taste mine."
"No! I could never drink milk tea." I reply nervously
"Scaredy cat!" He remarks
"Am not."
"Am too."
"No."
"Yes."
"No.
"Yes."
"Fine."
We swap our cups
"In 3, 2, 1!" We say in unison
We each take a sip, i close my eyes allowing the creamy milk to dance on my tounge, so sweet, so good.
I open my eyes, seeing a smile on Zach's face, a genuine smile. Im about to hand his cup back to him but he shakes his head.
"I think im gonna stay with this." He says still smiling
"Me too." I reply
We sit still just enjoying each other's tea.
After we have finished our tea we leave the cafe and get into Zach's car.
"I wanna take you somewhere." Zach states calmly
"Okay."
We stop in the middle of a forest, Zach gets out first and opens the passenger door for me, taking my hand as i get out. I blush at his gesture.
He covers my eyes with his hands making it hard to see
"Zach what are you doi-"
"Do you trust me?" He interrupts me
I nod and he walks slowly behind me, his hands still covering my eyes.
We walk for what seems like an hour but its actually just been 9 minutes or so.
"Are you ready?" He asks sweetly
I nod.
He drops his hands from my eyes and I freeze as i look around and take in my surroundings but when my eyes hit the view presented infront of me. I stop, everything stops. Its breath taking, mind blowing, peaceful and dreamy. Is this a dream?
