"But… what if I have to cancel the contract?"

The elder says with a raised brow making Ethan choke on his saliva, Liam eyes between Ethan and Mr.Chen with his wide curious eyes wanting to say much more but he couldn't because it wasn't his place to speak when the CEO was there to make decision and judgments.

"No… you… w-wouldn't. " Ethan says still shocked with the elder's statement, he gulps feeling his throat dry. He looks away finding his gaze landing on the cup of coffee in front of him which was already cold for him to savor, he sighs looking back up meeting the elder's gaze.

"And… why wouldn't I?" The elder says with his brows raised, "Because I won't let you to. Give me the time I will prove you… we are efficient to have you trust on us." Ethan retorts back feeling threatened as well as challenged, Liam snaps his head towards Ethan who was looking straight at Mr. Chen.
