In Which the Story Goes to Even More Crap(Part 2)

"About time!" An annoyed voice said.

Edward groaned, annoyed. "Hi Winry.

Winry humped as she crossed her arms.

*Camera Confessions*

Winry: Ah! Ed is SO annoying! Just ONCE, can he please, just ONCE tell me what's going on before a weird guy by the name of Ochi sends me a letter telling me that I'm in another world?

Edward: *Annoyed* I have EARS, you know!

Winry: Good! Then maybe you'll learn to do your maintenance on your automail more often.

Edward: *Cries with frustration* That in this are two different things! Why are you even bringing it up?

Winry: Because I have a feeling....no, I know that you broke your automail!

Edward: *Holds up metal arm-it's called automail* Broken? Does this look 'broken' to you?

Winry: *Screams* There are scratches on it! I knew it!

Edward: This shouldn't even be considered, 'broken'!

Author: Alright, alright, WE GET IT! Just shut up and stop arguing...geez...

*End of Camera Confessions*

"Hi Winry," Alphonse said politely.

"Hey Al," Winry grumbled, still annoyed after the not-even-real-camera-confession.

"Big Sister! Big Sister!" A little girl ran up to Winry and gave her a small wind up mouse. "It's broken! Can you fix it for me, please?"

Edward and Alphonse turned towards the little girl with surprise. "Ancy!?" The two exclaimed at the same time.

Of course, Ancy wasn't the only other character there. And the brothers knew that. But it was still shocking no matter how many times it happened.

Edward turned around and saw the travelers at the inn they stayed at. "Oh hey, it's you guys." He greeted.

The innkeeper's wife turned towards him with a subtle smile. "So, apparently you're the Fullmetal Alchemist."

"Uh..."

The woman laughed. "Don't worry. None of us are going to hate you for it. In fact, we really like you. I feel like you're the only reason my husband won't plan a citizen's revolt against the Military."

"Thanks...I guess..." Edward laughed awkwardly.

"Hey...kid...how are you...." The innkeeper walked towards him in an over-exaggerated sleepy manner.

Edward backed away uncomfortably. "Uh...is he drunk?"

The innkeeper's wife laughed. "Oh no. He just misses the feeling. He's not actually drunk. But he's weird so he's pretending he is."

Edward nodded his head slowly. "Riiight..." He drawled.

"You have heard of the theory, right? "The book project of a stressed sixth grader."? That's one of the rules. So basically, everything we do has to be kid-friendly in some sort of way." One of the travelers explained.

Edward frowned then nodded. It seemed like everyone was starting to break the fourth wall today.

Meanwhile, Roy was trying to make up for the conversation he had on the train with the two rich women at the beginning of the book.

"So, ladies...about what happened earlier..." Roy chuckled nervously.

One of the women tossed him an annoyed glare. "Shouldn't you be talking to your wife? Mr. Womanizer."

Roy felt like someone stabbed him as he grumbled over the thought of being a womanizer.

"Well actually...I don't have a wife per se...of children while we're on that matter. That kid is just a brat that I know." Roy explained, trying to be subtle.

The two women glared at him then turned away.

*Camera Confessions*

Roy: *Wails* It's all that brat, Fullmetal's fault!

Edward: What? Just what exactly did I do?

Roy *Glares* If you hadn't interrupted me with that idiotic stunt of yours, I could be close friends with those women.

Edward: Right...Mr. Womanizer.

Roy: *Grumbles* Oh shut up.

Author: Kid-friendly guys, kid-friendly. And this means that we are going to end this camera confession and move on to when Greg and Ancy's uncle are introduced.

Roy: Hey! You're skipping over me!

Author: *Snorts* Exactly.

*End of Camera Confessions*

Meanwhile, Greg is talking to Sklak, Brody, Karin, Cane, and Tom.

"You used to be in the military?" Karin asked curiously.

Greg nodded. "I used to, but..." he rolled up his sleeve to reveal a long scar. The five soldiers stared in awe and shock. "..this is what I earned for serving my country. I can still use my arm, but I'll never hold a gun properly, ever again."

"Whoh. And this happened on the battlefield?" Brody asked.

"What's your definition of 'serving my country'? It's not like people will get hurt during an inspection of the city, or if explosions will happen." Greg said sarcastically.

The soldiers exchanged looks and laughed.

"Oh man! It would be hilarious if you met the Fullmetal Alchemist, Major Edward Elric!" Tom laughed.

"Wha-?" Greg stared at them with a confused look.

"Every day, and I mean EVERY DAY, that this kid comes over to the East, something bad happens. Either a town gets targeted by terrorist attacks, the city gets destroyed, the kid gets kidnapped, like what happened recently, or sometimes he can just cause random explosions just by setting foot into the Eastern HQ!" Cane, Brody, Tom, and Karin laughed hysterically at Skylak's over-exaggeration of the almost-daily destruction that they went through every time Edward was in the East.

Greg sweat-dropped. 'Sounds like a dangerous kid....although he didn't seem that dangerous when I met him...'

Ochi walked through the halls with Jo and Toko behind him. "Is everything ready for tomorrow?" He asked, not looking back.

"Yes. Everything is set. All we have to do is wait for Colt to arrive, and we'll be able to take over Shonen Gangan!" Jo smiled with delight.

"Do you really think that we'll be able to do this? I mean, wouldn't it have been better to just bring in Colt's group to take over Shonen Gangan?" Toko asked.

Ochi shook his head. "That wouldn't have worked. Colt wants revenge. If we just asked him to take over Shonen Gangan he would have refused. Not only because he wants revenge, but due to the fact that he is really smart. There is a reason why we brought all the characters here. Not just to test an experimental science machine, but to also get in Colt's favor."

"Then shouldn't we have just brought Edward, Roy, and the military men?" Jo asked.

Ochi facepalmed. He turned around and faced Jo and Toko who both stopped walking. "Alright listen. Colt wants revenge, but he is really smart too. He knows that there isn't anything else that he wants out of this deal except his long-lasted revenge against the military. So, that's why we made this deal. What he wants is different from what we want, so he won't interfere because there isn't anything else he can gain from this deal other than his revenge and a way to go back home. We brought all the characters because it was simpler to just put in all of the characters in the book, compared to putting each character in one by one. Do you understand now?"

"Ohhh..." Jo and Toko nodded.

"Wait, but Ochi...what was that list for then? Back in chapter one?" Toko asked.

Ochi facepalmed. "We did that because...I needed to know how many people were going to be involved. And stop breaking 'the fourth wall'!"

The very next day, the party started.

Everyone was in their best outfits and chatted together in groups. Some people were dancing, while others just sat down and ate some snacks. There was a chocolate fountain in the center of the room and buffet tables lined the edges of the room. The room that they were using was the basement, which had recently been cleaned out. Streamers lined the walls of different colors and the lights were dim. There were mini spotlights on the floor shining wildly all over the room like dancing dots.

"Wow. It's pretty lively here." Natsue chuckled.

Arakawa nodded in agreement. "Yeah, we could use a break every now and then."

Nomoto and Inoue walked up to the duo. "Hi, Arakawa-san! You look very beautiful!" Inoue complimented.

"Where's Shimomura?" Natsue asked.

Nomoto snorted. "He's sitting down, being a big baby about parties, as usual."

Arakawa chuckled nervously. "I feel like this wouldn't have happened if I hadn't bunt his clothes."

Nomoto rolled his eyes upwards. "Too late to be thinking about it now. He will now forever hate parties."

"What exactly are you talking about?" Natsue asked curiously.

"Yeah, I've always been wondering what you guys mean by his wardrobe 'getting burnt'. Apparently, Arakawa did it. But what does that have to do with him hating parties?" Inoue pressed.

"Ah. It's a long story." Nomoto said while chuckling. "It's also pretty funny."

"Go ahead. We've got until 8 PM, after all." Inoue said as she and Natsue took a seat as Nomoto and Arakawa began the story.

"Okay so..."

Edward glared at the sign that Winry recently put up. It read, "Anyone taller than this height can come to the party. Children age six and under accepted."

Edward balled his hands into a fist. "WINRY!" He shouted as he ran through the door. "WHERE THE HECK ARE YOU!?"

"Brother! Calm down! I'm sure she just meant it as a joke!" Alphonse pleaded with his hot-headed older brother but had no avail.

Edward marched up to Winry with steam coming from his head. "WINRY! What exactly is up with that sign!? I know you! You meant that to be directed at me, didn't you!? Huh?"

Winry stared at him with an attempted deadpan expression, as she couldn't hide her snickering. "I don't know what you're talking about, Alchemy Freak."

Edward glared at her. "Shut up, Automail-Freak."

Alphonse waved his hands, panicking. "Please! Both of you, just calm down and enjoy the party!"

While Alphonse was trying to calm down both Edward and Winry, Roy's team walked past them.

"Things are pretty lively around here, don't you think so?" Havoc asked Breda with a grin.

Breda smirked. "Yeah. Kinda crazy when you think about it."

"I wonder who that girl Chief's talking to is." Fuery peeped.

The others looked at the direction Fuery was looking at and saw Winry arguing with Ed.

"His girlfriend? I don't know. Seems like he's arguing with her right now." Havoc shrugged.

Falman snickered. "Isn't that how Chief always acts?"

The group looked at each other. "Yup." They all answered simultaneously.

Watching the party from above was Ochi, Jo, and Toko. Ochi smirked. "How long until Colt arrives?"

Jo looked at her watch. "He should be arriving in about thirty minutes."

"Is everything ready?"

"Yeah. Everything is set up. Today, we're finally going to take over Shonen Gangan, Ochi, like you always wanted!" Toko exclaimed.

Ochi smiled coldly at the happy characters below him. "Yes. Finally, I'll take over Shonen Gangan. And the rights as the owner!"

(I don't know why, but Ochi is getting a backstory...because every good bad guy has a backstory...otherwise it's just weird.)

"Alright. I'm finally starting my first day as an editor at Shonen Gangan! One of the top publishing companies in Japan! I CAN'T screw this up! After all, my goal is to eventually own the company...so it's best that I work my way to the top!" Ochi told himself confidently.

Ochi walked through the doors of Shonen Gangan and went up the stairs. He saw editors busy at work, people moving things around, people printing and organizing...and he even saw some of his favorite manga authors!

Ochi smiled proudly. He was ready to fulfill his dream.

He edited many author's works after that and succeeded in a lot of it. He rarely made mistakes and was well known around the office. Eventually, he climbed his way to being the sub-editor in-chief.

He was close to fulfilling his dream... until one day...

Ochi was walking through the halls when he suddenly bumped into the current owner. The owner currently had been the owner for a few months now, and he mistreated almost every employee.

Ochi shivered with fear as the owner glared at him. "O-Oh s-sorry Mr. Owner...u-um. I wasn't pp-paying atten-attention...." Ochi stuttered.

The owner's gaze hardened. He cocked his head at Ochi then said, "Come into my office. You should have been paying more attention. As punishment...you're getting demoted."

Ochi's eyes widened, but he stayed brave. He thought that he could continue his dream...even if there were setbacks...because no matter what...he wanted to be a good and kind owner who strengthened the company's name and helped everyone get to know and understand each other better. That's what he believed.

But the setbacks didn't stop there. The owner apparently seemed to take a disliking to Ochi. Perhaps it was because of his strength, or his compassion, or his fast promotions...or maybe it was that his dream was to become the owner.

Finally, one day when Ochi was called to the owner's office, he told him his dream.

"Mr.Owner. I know you are the owner of Shonen Gangan, but I need you to stop demoting me. I haven't done anything wrong. In fact, I've helped strengthen the company's name. So please, let me continue my work so I can achieve and accomplish my goal and dream of becoming Shonen Gangan's owner." Ochi sent a pleading look at the owner, who looked at him with disbelief.

The owner suddenly frowned then said coldly, "You're fired."

Ochi's eyes widened with horror. "What? What do you mean?"

"You know exactly what I mean. You've been in this office for far too long. You need to get out. Go pack your things. Pack your things and your dumb dream of reaching the top....because that's where I'm staying." The owner said coldly.

The cold glare was the last thing that Ochi ever saw from the owner.

*****

"Everyone! Hide! It's Colt! He's coming!" Someone screamed repeatedly.

"What?" Edward asked. He ran towards the window with Alphonse and Winry following him. "NO! He really did come!" Ed shouted with dismay.

"What do we do?" Alphonse asked in a panicked tone.

Edward looked between Winry and Al. "What else? We fight."

Edward then turned to Winry. "Winry, can you help evacuate the building?"

Winry looked nervous but then nodded. "Got it." She then ran off to help people evacuate safely away from Colt.

Edward and Alphonse nodded at each other and then ran off.

"Finally..." Ochi smirked. "It's time."
