Kin looks at Parisu with baggy eyes, he had spent the night following her into the school, they found that the dance studio was open but was kicked out faster than he could say 'Meat'. During class he had tried getting away from her but she manages to intercept him to instead infiltrate the school in the afternoon. Kin would say that both schools are sister schools because the rivalry between the two was childish and bullying, and he didn't meant university students are bullying high school students, no, he felt like it was the other way round with how disinterested the other students were and how dumb his schoolmates were.
They had to take a roundabout way towards the school just down the block so that the high school kids won't be intimidated by them. Under the excuse of a graduated student visiting their school again. The teachers that they don't recognize seemed rather touched about that, one even shed a tear.
Kin had to smile politely and kept bowing in order not to feel bad. Parisu however was already whipping out her phone and eagerly leaps up the stairs, pass a rowdy group of boys that Kin almost bumped into. Kin gets out a pen and paper as he follows her towards the dance studio. Apparently Haon was part of a street dance club in the school, a senior that should be graduating soon. He was apparently absent during the long holiday and no one knew where he went.
Parisu didn't say where she got her information from however, he was a little worried that she might get herself into trouble for nothing. Kin takes a peek into the studio, there are a few students sitting on the floor, looking up at their seniors who were dancing passionately, the instructor on the side looking rather pleased.
Kin didn't know how to see dance but he could tell that the person in the center was an important part of the performance. He assumed that it was Haon, Haon does a few stunts that led to Kin worrying about his safety but he made it look so easy to land gracefully on his feet.
Kin thought that she was filming the dance but rather she has a picture open. Guess she didn't know anything about dancing either, he sees another guy in the picture and in the room, was he also a trainee?
Kin was rather bored after the dance ended and they went into the practice or was it theory? He couldn't tell as they were talking mostly and showing moves only on occasion. He could only hear sound effects as well and didn't know the other words.
"Let's just find a performance to film," Kin sighs. Parisu didn't seem to hear him and tries to sneak in a picture. But a junior turned to look at them, they had to quickly dodge. Parisu was about to stand again after a while when the door swings open.
Parisu wince and Kin immediately looked up to see Haon looking down at them.
"May I help you?" he asks with raised eyebrows. Parisu grins and shoots right up.
"Sorry! we've gotten kind of lost and was mesmerised by your performance!" she immediately praises as Kin raises himself, sweat dropping.
"I see... well the office is on the first floor I suggest finding a teacher there," he replies, rather casually seeing as they looked like very competitive people. Kin gulps and hurriedly pulls Parisu away and down the stairs.
"It was nice meeting you!" Parisu exclaims before following Kin," what are you doing? It made us look even more suspicious with you looking pale over here," she complains.
"I'm always pale," Kin frowns. Parisu hits him on the back in a friendly way, no doubt, but Kin winces at that anyway.
"Now I've connected a few bits of information, it's time to make an article! Don't slack off! We have to post it before others can get the chance to!" she exclaims. Kin wanted to shush her because she was being too loud but he doubt that he could stop her.
He sighs and trudge over back home after managing to separate from her by showing her the article he already drafted out while they were waiting for the bus.
He turns home and tries to sneak up when he realise that her mother is in his room. He peeks into the room, seeing that she was just mopping the floor.
"Mum... you could have just taken the day off," he sighs revealing himself.
"Becareful," she immediately replies with," well... I was kind of bored so..." his mother is rather beautiful and young looking, like his older sister more than mother, he takes after her a lot, her features soft and her eyes onyx as well but her hair is dyed hot pink so it makes her look cuter.
"Still, you could have finish that game I introduced you to," he chuckles, moving the pail out for her once he determined that she was done.
"Hm..." she pouts, apparently the game was still too hard for her to clear. Kin chuckles at that.
Despite being his mother, with Kin, she is very much his older sister, he'd go shopping with her and he'd introduce some games that he plays on campus during break so that they can see each other more often. She loves amusement parks too which he why he often goes to them. Not that he doesn't have any friends, but they are pretty busy with their projects anyway and are more hard working than he'll ever be.
Though Takei, his best friend was a gamer like he is and often played with him and his mom, he seldom gets out of the house, he sometimes wonder if he's a vampire or something.
"How's your driving test going?" she asks after they reach the kitchen, Kin immediately goes to help her with the cooking." Your brother seems to take forever to get the licence," she teases in jest," looks like you're way more efficient in it," she chuckles.
Kin smiles at that, his older brother, an engineer is of course too busy to think about these things, at least he manage to get a car in the end.
"I'm going to collect it tomorrow, I'll probably take older brother's car for a test drive during the extended weekend," he replies.
"You've worked hard," she replies affectionately as Kin drops the chopped food onto the wok. Still, Kin can't help but feel dissatisfied.
That night he research a little bit about Niigata.
