Day 8

Kin tilts his head, in school outfit, but because he's a university student, unlike the other guys, he is the most casual out of them. Even the last auditionee was wearing a uniform.

"Empty-handed," at first Kin didn't know what Yuu was talking about so he watched in fascination. Though the boy is small, cute and younger than him, he can't help but be impressed and a little envious of the talent. The others, however, seem to have different ideas.

As he's finished, Bokkai nods and accepted the young one into the dance crew. Yuu and Sou head out, ignoring the fact that they had practice.

"Hey, where-" he starts but the look empty Hajime give him zipped him mouth shut for no reason at all.

'This guy's smaller than me, but why do I feel shot whenever he looks at me?' Kin wonders.

Bokkai sighs like he's tired, while Hideki looks like he doesn't care. Hajime was about to ask Mr Tanaka when Hajime cuts him off.

" 'might not change' huh? It's obvious that we're all going to dance in future," Hajime grumbles." At least don't lie to us would you?" he says before leaving as well. Haon looks at him leave, while he didn't bat an eye when the other two left, Hajime's leave held some reaction to Haon. He looks rather torn between Hajime and the lesson.

But much to Kin and Bokkai's surprise, Haon actually left after him. Leaving the two and Hideki alone. Kin shuffles awkwardly, in the studio, he was probably the most out of place. At least Sou and Yuu didn't look like great dancers either (nor enthusiastic ones).

Well looks like he's alone in this...

-

"I'm quitting," Yuu replies.

"It's better if we do it now..." Sou mutters. The two of them stop, meeting with a well dressed man, they know as Mr Kirima.

"Hello boys," he says with a smile," are you going for a short break?" he asks." How's practice?"

The boys seem rather reluctant to tell him, Yuu starts," We want to quit".

"Why so?" Mr Kirima asks with wide eyes.

"It's obvious that it's not a band anymore, the passing members are all dancers, not instrument players, I highly doubt they can even recognize a note," Sou explains.

"Has another member joined?" Mr Kirima asks.

"Another dancer," Hajime frowns, Haon just so happens to reach them. He was hesitant to join them but Hajime saw him and smiles, gesturing him to come over. Mr Kirima was also surprised when Haon walks towards them and all of them didn't seem all that against his presence. He looks at Haon in question.

"I can play the drums," he explains," maybe a band isn't too bad," he adds.

"You know they make their own music as well?" Mr Kirima asks, looking at the other three wondering if they manage to bribe him or something... could it be... they actually gotten along???

"I'm willing to learn to stay here but since it's a band, there shouldn't be a need for dancers," Haon replies. Mr Kirima was very confused, he didn't expect those words to come out of a street dancer that is passionate about his craft for most of his childhood. It can't be as simple as friendship? Blackmail? No, Hajime wouldn't allow that given his student council background. He seems rather troubled, leaving the boys to look at each other with complicated expressions.

"Sou," Mr Kirima looks at the boy who looks at him, the boy is the tallest amongst them, if he were to grow, he'd probably need to crank his neck up to talk to him." Have you met the Hideki boy yet?" he asks.

"The one who just joined?" he asks.

Mr Kirima nods," did you know he could play the piano as well? He joined because he was a fan of yours,"

Yuu looks at Sou and Haon looks at Hajime. Mainly, Hajime was a piano player and Haon has experienced first hand how eager he is to teach, Sou isn't all that popular either as a bass guitar player, mainly he was overshone by the guitarists, so to hear that he has a fan... must be shocking.

Seem that it's settled, given that they dash back to the studio. He sighs in relief and takes out a handkerchief to dab at the sweat on his forehead. If they had really left, there was no need for this to carry on...

Sou returns to the studio to see a very done Mr Tanaka looking at him with Kin passed out on the ground and Hideki poking him in the ribs with a pout. He notices the door open and he looks up with slightly wide eyes. Sou falters a little and decided to give him a smile. Hideki looks down shyly, his cheeks pink, which disappears as he continues to poke Kin awake.

"Aaaaaaah shtap! I'm too ticklish!" he exclaims.

They guessed they can't exactly complain, here is Kin, with no background nor interest, trying hard to keep up with the others. A little guilty, Hajime goes over to extend a hand to help him up.

"I'll help you," he replies resolutely. Mr Tanaka and Kin seem rather surprised... again. Kin smiles, glad that he was open now, accept the hand, it'll be better since Hajime seems to be closest in age as him.

They spend the evening drenched in sweat, lying down on the ground is Yuu, Kin and Sou, one who wouldn't dance in his entire life, thinks it's embarrassing and would burn the art, another who doesn't like to exercise and the last one that cannot tell where his feet or hand is at. At least Hajime was sitting, on the phone with the earpiece on, he seems to have cooled down from their practice. Hideki was so shy so he immediately left after practice, Haon is still dancing away.

He skips over to Hajime and peers over onto his phone, blocking Hajime's vision with his fluffy wet hair.

"Whatcha doin'?" he asks with a bright smile that made Hajime's annoyance disappear as fast as it appears.

"I'm trying to finish up a song," he replies.

"Lemme hear," he beams.

Kin groans internally, hearing soft... somehow familiar music from his side but he was too tired to think about it and was lulled into sleep.
